Born in Oradell, N.J., Mrs. DeVane came to Manatee County from Spring Valley, N.Y., in 1957. She was a retired secretary. She attended Palma Sola Presbyterian Church. She was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post No. 10141, and the American Legion Kirby Stewart Post No. 24 Auxiliary, both of Bradenton, and the Air Force Sergeant's Association Auxiliary of Tampa.
Survivors include her husband, Robert E.; a daughter, Daphne Smith of Bradenton; a son, David, of Palmetto; two sisters, Anne Louise Donovan of West Henrietta, N.Y., and Katherine Lyons of Vero Beach; two brothers, Robert C. Guild of Parrish, and Gerald D. Guild of Clearwater; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Born in New Castle, Del., Mr. Ewing was a longtime resident of Manatee County. He was employed as an electrician. He attended Calvary Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army. He was a former volunteer at The American Red Cross.
Survivors include his wife, Renee; two sons, Mark and Paul, both of Bradenton; a stepson, Chad Williams of King George, Va.; and a grandchild.

Born in Dearborn, Mich., Mrs. French was a retired medical receptionist. She was a member of the Craft Club, and the Garden Club at Sunny Shores Mobile Home Park, and a secretary and a board member of the Sunny Shores Mobile Home Association.
Survivors include two daughters, Carol Van Meter of Bradenton, and Arretta Van Meter of North Highlands, Calif.; a son, William, of LA Center, Washington; a sister, Mary Kirk of Bradenton; a brother, Ivan Short of Tulsa, Okla.; 10 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.

Born in Bogota, Colombia, Mr. Giraldo came to Manatee County from there in 1989. He was retired from Bavaria Brewery Co. in Colombia. He was Catholic. He served as a captain in the Colombian military. He was a member of the Association Colombia Officers Retirees.
Survivors include his wife, Olga Grasso of Bradenton; three daughters, Maria Claudia Varon, Maria Jose Varon and Maria Lourdes Varon, all of Bradenton; two sons, Carlos Varon of Myakka City, and Luis Varon of Bradenton; two sisters, Gilma Vega of Bogota and Lucia Charvet of California; and nine grandchildren.

Born in Taylor County, W.Va., Mrs. Keener came to Manatee County from Atlanta in 1963. She was a cafeteria worker for the public school system. She was a member of the Tenth Street Baptist Church in Palmetto.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Lee, of Palmetto, and David Allen, of Parrish; two sisters, Irene B. Sansbury of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Maymie A. Bennett of Thornton, W.Va.; four brothers, Lawrence Trickett, Walter O. Trickett, Russell R. Trickett and Carl R. Trickett, all of Grafton, W.Va.; and four grandchildren.

Born in Mount Hope, W.Va., Mr. Ballard came to Manatee County from Iceland in 1957. He was a retired construction contractor. He was Baptist. He served in the U.S. Navy Seabees during World War II. He was a member of the Bradenton Country Club.

Born in Alba, Mich., Mr. Blodgett came to Manatee County from Portage, Mich., in 1987. He was the retired supervisor of lawn and vehicle maintenance from Kalamazoo Valley Community College in Kalamazoo, Mich. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of the Kalamazoo Association of Retired State Employees, the Michigan Association of Retired State Employees, and the Michigan Association of Retired State Employees, Suncoast Chapter No. 30 of Bradenton.
Survivors include his wife, F. Virginia; two daughters, Janice Terpstra of Kalamazoo, and Judith Shewring of New Jersey; a son, Kenneth, of Arizona; two sisters, Anna Soule of Scotts, Mich., and Beatrice Homan of Union City, Mich.; three grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.

Born in Charlotte, N.C., Mr. Brady came to Manatee County from Fort Pierce in 1970. He was employed as an electrician at Tropicana Glass Plant in Bradenton. He was Protestant. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of Moose Lodge Local No. 208 in Fort Pierce.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn S.; three daughters, Pam and Karlos, both of Miami, and Patricia Lynn Wright of Ohio; a sister, Margaret Lou Smith of Orange Park; a brother, Jim, of Fort Myers; and a grandchild.

Survivors include his companion, Cindy Batson of St. Petersburg; a daughter, Makayla Batson of St. Petersburg; a sister, Roberta Ramey of Hawkinsville, Ga.; and five brothers, William, of St. Thomas, Pa.; and Steven, Warren, Michael and Timothy, all of Huntsville.
