Ella E. McCullough, 83, of Ellenton, died Nov. 14, 2001, in Manatee Memorial Hospital.
Graveside service will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Livermoore, Maine, at a later date. Griffith-Cline Funeral Homes, Mansion Chapel, Ellenton, is in charge of arrangements. Born in North Turner, Maine, Mrs. McCullough came to Manatee County from Stratford, Conn., in 1989. She was a homemaker. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Bradenton. She served as docent and a weaver for the Stratford Historical Society in Stratford, and she was an active member of the Manatee Audubon Society.
Survivors include her husband, James S.; a daughter, Linda Smith of Highland, N.Y.; a son, John, of Farmington, Conn.; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Sally O' Neil, 93, of Bradenton, died Nov. 13, 2001, in Integrated Health Services.
Service will be in New Jersey. Burial will be in Hazelwood Cemetery in Clark, N.J. Brown and Sons Funeral Homes, 26th Street Chapel, Bradenton, is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Newark, N.J., Ms. O'Neil came to Manatee County from Elizabeth, N.J., in 1976. She was a retired line person for Distillers Co. Limited in Linden, N.J., after 20 years of service. She attended Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Bradenton.
Survivors include a daughter, Margaret Wantrobski of Hillsborough, N.J.; a sister, Mary Sikora of Lantana; a grandchild; and three great-grandchildren.
Roy L. Reed

Roy L. Reed, 78, of Bradenton, died Nov. 12, 2001, in Blake Medical Center.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday at Brown and Sons Funeral Home, 5624 26th St. W., in Bradenton. Service will be in Arlington, Va. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington. Born in Goodwell, Okla., Mr. Reed, Col. Ret., came to Manatee County from Chicago in 1981. He was vice president of land development for Neal Communities of Bradenton. He was Methodist. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II and the Korean and Vietnam Wars.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley; a daughter, Pamela Fairley of Chatham, N.J.; a stepdaughter, Jeannie C. Wiltshire of Bradenton; a son, Roy L. Jr., of Alexandria, Va.; two sisters, Elsie Berry of Dallas and Clea Pharies of Whittier, Calif.; a brother, Larry, of Freeport, Texas; and 10 grandchildren.

Ben F. Rice, 81, of Bradenton, died Nov. 13, 2001, in Manatee Memorial Hospital.

Born in Silver Point, Tenn., Mr. Rice came to Manatee County from Winchester, Tenn., in 1982. He was employed at Anchor Hocking Glass Co. for 35 years. He attended Church of the Nazarene Bayshore. He served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was an officer and a member of GBBA Local Union No. 14.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; a daughter, Linda Brown of Bradenton; two brothers, James, of Sparta, Tenn., and Paul, of Mississippi; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Born in Marion, Ind., Mrs. Richmond came to Manatee County from there in 1972. She was a supervisor at Tropicana. She was Methodist.
Survivors include her husband, Ora; two daughters, Angie Carico and Phylena, both of Bradenton; a son, Ora Paul II, of Bradenton; her parents, Dwight and Estella Walker of South Bend, Ind.; two sisters, Brenda Johnson of St. Genevieve, Mo., and Rebecca Walker of Indiana; five brothers, Larry Walker, Steve McFaren, Terry McFaren, Allen Walker Jr. and William Walker, all of Indiana; and three grandchildren.

Born in Canada, Mrs. Swicker came to Manatee County from Springfield more than 25 years ago. She was a homemaker. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bradenton.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Ann Leslie of Clermont; a son, Henry Rougier of Pittsburgh; a sister, Loretta Pare of Naples; eight grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

Born in Brockport, N.Y., Mr. Browne came to Manatee County from there in 1988. He was a retired electrical engineer from Eastman Kodak in Rochester, N.Y. He attended Kirkwood Presbyterian Church in Bradenton. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of Monroe Masonic Lodge No. 173 Free and Accepted Masons in Brockport.
Survivors include his wife, Arsenath "Senie"; two sons, Gary S., of Rochester, and Robert G., of Fords, N.J.; a sister, Grace Cornell of Sarasota; a brother, Orin, of Sarasota; and two grandchildren.

Patricia "Patty" Ann Davis, 49, of Bradenton, died Nov. 12, 2001, in Blake Medical Center.

Born in South Bend, Ind., Mrs. Davis came to Manatee County from there in 1975. She was a toll booth supervisor at the Southgate Plaza of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. She was Catholic.
Survivors include her husband, T.J.; a stepdaughter, Crystal Gayle Yochim of Palmetto; a son, Kain Thomas, of Bradenton; two stepsons, Mark Steven Turner Jr. and Rodney Robert, both of Bradenton; a sister, Giana "Gigi" Marie Szymanski of South Bend; and a brother, Paul John Buzolich Jr. of St. Louis.

Born in El Toro, Calif., Mrs. Forney came to Manatee County from Fort Pierce in 1979. She was a retired insurance administrator. She attended First United Methodist Church of Bradenton, where she was the church telephone greeter. She was a member of the hospital auxillaries in Santa Ana, Calif., in Fort Pierce and in Bradenton, a volunteer for the Manatee County Library system since 1979, a chapel stewardess at Asbury Towers in Bradenton for 10 years, where she was a librarian since 1980, president of the United Methodist Women's Organization in Fort Pierce and membership chairperson since 1979, chairperson of the Susanna Wesley Circle, and president, past president and a 25-year member of the Pythian Sisters.
Survivors include two sons, Ronald M., of Parrish and Dr. Russell L., of Roseville, Calif.; two sisters, Kathleen Clark of Lompoc, Calif., and Isabel Harris of Tulsa, Okla.; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
