Warren F. Hall, 84, of Bradenton, died Nov. 6, 2001, in the Doctors Hospital of Sarasota.
Memorial Mass will be 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of The Angels Catholic Community at Living Lord Lutheran Church, 11120 State Road 70 E., Bradenton, with the Rev. Damian Amantia officiating. Born in Chicago, Mr. Hall came to Manatee County from Milwaukee in 1985. He was a manufacturers representative. He attended Our Lady of The Angels Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; two daughters, Michelle Hall Cox of Walhalla, S.C., and Rosemary of Brookfield, Wis.; two sons, Charles, of Pewaukee, Wis., and John Jay of Waukesha, Wis.; two brothers, Charles, of Wauwatosa, Wis., and Robert, of Libertyville, Ill.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Oa Haycook, 105, of Bradenton, died Nov. 8, 2001, in Freedom Village Inn in Bradenton.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Nov. 17 at Freedom Village Inn, Third Floor, 6410 21st Ave. W. Inurnment will be in Manasota Memorial Park in Bradenton. National Cremation Society, Sarasota Chapter, is in charge of cremation arrangements.
Born in Minersville, Ohio, Mrs. Haycook came to Manatee County from Syracuse, Ohio, in 1959. She was a homemaker. She attended Oneco United Methodist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Joe F. Quisenberry of Casselberry, Roger C. Quisenberry of Sarasota, and David D. Quisenberry of Ocala; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Nancy M. Manchester, 64, of Bradenton, died Nov. 8, 2001, in Manatee Memorial Hospital.

Born in North Tonawanda, N.Y., Mrs. Manchester came to Manatee County from there 15 years ago. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two daughters, Dawn Pannell of Nevada, Texas, and Brenda Middhaugh of Canadea, N.Y.; three sons, Daniel Clarke of Texas, James M. Clarke of Bradenton, and Jeffrey Squires of Alabama; her mother, Elleanor Hebert of West Almond, N.Y.; a sister, Judy Riley of New York State; three brothers, Butch Hebert, William Hebert and Mark Hebert, all of New York state; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Loretta C. Samis, 65, of Bradenton, died Oct. 28, 2001, in Hospice House of Palmetto.
Service will be held at a later date. The Neptune Society, Palm Harbor, is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Lansing, Mich., Ms. Samis came to Manatee County from there in 1981. She was a bartender. She was Christian.
Survivors include a foster son, Mark A. Smith of Ohio; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Alice G. Spear, 72, of Bradenton, died Nov. 8, 2001, in Manatee Memorial Hospital.

Born in Port Gibson, N.Y., Mrs. Spear came to Manatee County from Rochester, N.Y., in the 1970s. She was an attendant. She was Protestant. She was a past matron of the Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include a brother, Dr. Karl E. Goellner of Spooner, Wis.

Elsie Louise Thiesse, 74, of Ellenton, died Nov. 7, 2001, in Manatee Memorial Hospital.
Visitation will be noon-2 p.m. Monday at Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, 1400 36th Ave. E., Ellenton. Service will be 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Green officiating. Burial will be in Mansion Memorial Park in Ellenton. Born in Cleveland, Mrs. Thiesse came to Manatee County from Euclid, Ohio, in 1984. She was a retired floral designer. She was Methodist. She was a puppy hugger with Southeastern Guide Dogs; a Girl Scout leader; and a volunteer with Methodist Youth Fellowship.
Survivors include her husband, Roger; and a daughter, June, of Spooner, Wis.

Beatrice S. Zander, 81, of Bradenton, died Nov. 9, 2001, at home.

E.D. Johnson Sr., 80, of Palmetto, died Oct. 31, 2001, in Manatee Memorial Hospital.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday at Saint Andrews African Methodist Episcopal Church, 203 17th St. W., Palmetto. Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with the Rev. Charles Caldwell officiating. Burial will be in Mansion Memorial Park in Ellenton. Westside Funeral Home, Palmetto, is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Johnson was born in Palmetto. He was the owner and operator of Johnson's Texaco Station in Palmetto, and was retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He was Methodist. He served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Masons, and an active member of the Grand Lodge Knights of Pythias.
Survivors include his wife, Rosa Mae; eight daughters, Rosalind L. Cherry and Sandra K. Daniels, both of Bradenton, Carol D., Patricia A., Faye L. Duval, Peggy Jefferson and Janiell L., all of Palmetto, and Dedra R. Cherry of Sarasota; two sons, Donald Eugene Jefferson Sr. and E.D. "Moody" Jr., both of Palmetto, five sisters, Eunice Mays of Bronx, N.Y., Ruby L., and Annie V. Mobley, both of Temple Terrace, Emmeral Latimer of Rubonia, and Versia Pollard of Palmetto; five brothers, Arthur L., of Gardenia, Calif., Alvin Taylor of Tallahassee, Dr. Simon O., of Gainesville, Willie D., of Tampa, and Vernell, of Palmetto; 18 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Eugene C. Morrell, 85, of Bradenton, died Nov. 4, 2001, in Surrey Place Convalescent Center in Bradenton.

Born in Philadelphia, Mr. Morrell came to Manatee County from Bucks County, Pa., in 1979. He was an accountant/controller. He was Methodist. He served as a captain in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a Mason and a Shriner at Lulu Temple in Pennsylvania, a member of Score Volunteer of Bradenton, and the director in a volunteer position for GCM Products Inc.
Survivors include his wife, Florence; a daughter, Pamela J. Brown of Monongahela, Pa.; two sons, Gregory Morrell of Silverthorn, Colo., and Douglas of Willow Grove, Pa.; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
William V. Orndorff

William V. Orndorff, 78, of Bradenton, died Nov. 6, 2001, in Blake Medical Center.
Service will be held privately for the family, with the Dr. L. Roger Sockwell officiating. Inurnment will be in Palmetto. Born in Cincinnati, Mr. Orndorff came to Manatee County from there in 1996. He was a retired installer and repairman from Cincinnati Bell Telephone Co. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. He was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 140, Free and Accepted Masons in Cheviot, Ohio, and the Telephone Pioneers of America.
Survivors include his wife, Betty; a daughter, Darlene Oldfield of Bradenton; a son, Mike, of Cincinnati; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
