Born in Akron, Ohio, Mr. Falcone came to Manatee County from Three Rivers, Mich., in 1999. He was a retired paper worker. He was Baptist. He served in the U.S. Marines. He was a member of the Colony Cove Wood Workers Association.
Survivors include his wife, Margret; a daughter, Cheryl Ann Heiss of Des Moines, Iowa; two sons, Terry Dean, of Bandon, Ore., and Michael James, of San Bernardino, Calif.; a sister, Ruth Ann, of Columbus, Ohio; a brother, Larry, of Akron; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Cleta K. Hopkins, 80, of Bradenton, died Oct. 10, 2001, in Casa Mora Rehabilitation and Extended Care.
There will be no service. Brown and Sons Funeral Homes, 26th Street Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Muncie, Ind., Mrs. Hopkins came to Manatee County from Philadelphia in 1996. She was a retired lab assistant from Smith-Kline and Beecham Laboratories in Philadelphia.
Survivors include a daughter, Pat A. Speece of Bradenton; a sister, Mary C. Kerr of Bradenton; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Armand Arthur Lessard, 78, of Bradenton, died Oct. 10, 2001, in Natick, Mass.
Memorial service will be 7 p.m. Monday at John P. Rowe Funeral Home Inc., 57 Main St., in Marlborough, Mass., with the Rev. Douglas Peltak officiating. Burial will be in Saint Mary's Cemetery in Marlborough. Memorial contributions may be made to the Intensive Care Unit at Leonard Morse Hospital, c/o Beth Donnelly, 67 Union St., Natick, Mass. 01760.
Born in Marlborough, Mr. Lessard came to Manatee County from there in 1985. He was a retired supervisor from the former New England Telephone Co. in Massachusetts. He was Catholic. He served in the U.S. Army Air Force during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, H. Lois; two daughters, Jill L. Brennon of Southborough, Mass., and Jacqueline A. Simpson of Salem, Mass.; a son, Armand A. Jr., of West Kennebunk, Maine; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday at Westside Funeral Home, 704 11th St. W., in Palmetto. Service will be noon Saturday at First Community Church of God in Christ, 1107 29th St. E., in Palmetto, with the Rev. Jesse Smalley officiating. Burial will be in Skyway Memorial Gardens, Palmetto.
Mr. Allen was born in Bradenton. He was the manager of a dry cleaning business. He served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his mother, Sandra Kay Neal of Bradenton; a sister, Karen Renee, of Bowie; his grandmother, Floryda Murray of Palmetto; and his grandfather, Earnest Murray of Rubonia.

Born in Breathitt County, Ky., Mrs. Arendt came to Manatee County from Rogersville, Ala., eight years ago. She was a snack bar manager at a courthouse.

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Mr. Lofsten came to Manatee County from Amityville, N.Y., in 1991. He was a retired aeronautical engineer from Grumman Aerospace Corp. in Bethpage, N.Y. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of Amityville Masonic Lodge No. 977, the Free and Accepted Masons in Amityville and the American Society of Mechanic Engineers.

Mrs. McDowell came to Manatee County from Michigan in 1952. She was a homemaker. She was Protestant.

Elaine Snodgrass Ramirez, 64, of Aurora, Ill., formerly of Bradenton, died Oct. 3, 2001, in Provena Mercy Center Hospital in Aurora.
Service was at The Daleiden Lake Street Mortuary in Aurora at an earlier date, with Chaplain Steven May officiating. Interment was in Lincoln Memorial Park in Oswego Township, Ill.
Born in Muncie, Ind., Mrs. Ramirez was a former resident of Manatee County.
Survivors include her husband, David M.; three sons, Charles and Michael Snodgrass, both of Bradenton, and Robert McDonald of Indiana; several stepsisters and stepbrothers; and 12 grandchildren.

Ms. Simmons was born in Bradenton. She was a bus driver. She was Baptist.
Survivors include a son, Jimmie Davis of St. Petersburg; her father, Albert Barnes of Sarasota; her stepfather, Wilbert Jenkins of Bradenton; two sisters, Charlene Davis of Bradenton, and Loretta Oliver of Palmetto; four brothers, Norman Davis and Gerard Jenkins, both of Bradenton, and Albert Barnes and Marvin Barnes, both of Sarasota; and five grandchildren.
