Born in Dayton, Ohio, Mrs. Unger came to Manatee County from Ohio 27 years ago. She was a nurse's aide. She was Baptist.
Survivors include two sons, Ronald L. Jr., of Palmetto, and David Wombold of Bradenton; and seven grandchildren.

Born in Fairmont, W.Va., Mrs. Wilhelm came to Manatee County from there in 1975. She was a homemaker. She was Baptist. She served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. She was a lifetime member and a past commander of American Legion Kirby Stewart Post No. 24, where she served as a finance officer for several years.
Survivors include two brothers, Kenneth M. Doolittle of Fairmont, and Arlie H. "Bus" Doolittle of Bradenton.

Floyd H. Arnold, 78, of Bradenton, died Oct. 1, 2001, in Hospice House of Bradenton.

Born in Selma, Ala., Mr. Arnold came to Manatee County from Miami in 1995. He was a retired master sergeant from the U.S. Air Force after serving during World War II; he also served in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Marine Corps.
Survivors include three daughters, Betty Whitus of Nashville, Tenn., Sandra A. Burns of Bradenton, and Gloria J. Mattox of Miami; a son, Floyd Randall, of Fort Worth, Texas; a sister, Lillie Mae, of Selma; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Katherine Knight, 82, of Ruskin, formerly of Manatee County, died Sept. 26, 2001, in Brandon Hospital.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at Sun City Center Funeral Home, 1851 Rickenbacker Drive, in Sun City Center. Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Southside Baptist Church in Sun City, with the Rev. Horace Holloway officiating. Burial will be in Skyway Memorial Gardens in Palmetto.
Born in Limestone, Mrs. Knight was a former resident of Manatee County. She was a homemaker. She attended First Baptist Church of Sun City.
Survivors include five daughters, Margaret Lee Smith of Rubonia, Ozie M. Culmer, Mae Pearl Foreman and Gloria Elizabeth Pate, all of Ruskin, and Mary K. Newhouse of Bradenton; a sister, Ronie Mae Hickson of Limestone; a brother, James Maxwell Jr. of Sarasota; 21 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Mitchell K. Mullen, 50, of Sarasota, formerly of Bradenton, died Sept. 28, 2001, in Sarasota.

Born in Oakland City, Ind., Mr. Mullen came to Manatee County from Indiana 46 years ago. He worked in computer assembly of Teltronics and in the composing room at the Sarasota Herald Tribune's data processing department for five years. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church and played drums as part of the praise team at Faith Baptist Church and at Christian Retreat.
Survivors include his wife, Beth K.; his father, Guy Mullins Jr.; four sisters, Janet D. Miller, Nancy D. Gordon, Guyla R. Mullins and Gina Mullins; and a brother, Mark A.

Born in Leeuwarden, Netherlands, Mrs. Poelsma came to Manatee County from Netherlands in 1957. She was a homemaker and the manager of Manatee Beach Concessions from 1964-84. She was Catholic.
Survivors include her husband, Herman; two daughters, Suzanne Baer and Lilli-Beth Brown, both of Bradenton; a son, Andy, of Bradenton; five sisters, Anneke Van Der Myle-Hoeben, Gien Hoogeveen-Hoeben, Bettie Stekelenburg-Hoeben, Vronie Poot-Hoeben and Gerda Santisi-Hoeben, all of Netherlands; three brothers, Jan Hoeben, Marinus Hoeben and Paul Hoeben, all of Netherlands; and six grandchildren.

J.W. "Billy" Tillett, 80, of Bradenton, died Oct. 1, 2001, in Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg.

Born in Terra Ceia, Mr. Tillett was a lifetime resident of Manatee County. He was a retired farmer. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Margaret Louise; a daughter, Nona Tillett Turner of Duette; a son, Bill, of Palm City; four brothers, Norman and Elmer, both of Ruskin, Roy, of Apollo Beach, and Ben, of Terra Ceia; and three grandchildren.

Charles Melvin Winebrenner, 80, of Elkhart, Ind., formerly of Bradenton, died Sept. 27, 2001, in Elkhart General Hospital.
Visitation and service were at Billings Funeral Home in Elkhart, at an earlier date. The Rev. Lee H. Campbell officiated. Military graveside service conducted by Disabled American Veterans No. 19 was also held at an earlier date. Interment was in Rice Cemetery in Elkhart. Born in North Manchester, Ind., Mr. Winebrenner was a former resident of Manatee County. He was a truck driver for South Bend Freight Co. and the former co-manager of Opal Paulanna Sandwich Shop in South Bend, Ind. He was a medic in the U.S. Army during World War II, serving with the 315th Medical Battalion in the Normandy, Central Europe, Rhineland, North France, and Battle of the Bulge campaigns. He was a member of Teamsters Local Union No. 364; and the Four Lakes Country Club.
Survivors include a daughter, Ann Strycker of Elkhart; a son, Allen, of Orange Park; a sister, Georgeanna McMaster of Bradenton; a brother, Clyde, of Elkhart; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Born in Akron, Ohio, Mrs. Wolfe came to Manatee County from there in 1977. She was a retired nurse. She attended First Presbyterian Church, where she was a member of the First Presbyterian Church Love Circle. She was a lifetime member of American Legion Post No. 24 Auxiliary; and a lifetime member of the Manatee Memorial Hospital Volunteers.
Survivors include her husband, Dale L.
