Belva G. Rawlings, 95, of Bradenton, died Sept. 9, 2001, at home.
Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Rotunda at Manasota Memorial Park, 1221 53rd Ave. E., with the Rev. James Buckle officiating. Burial will be in Manasota Memorial Park. Toale Brothers Funeral Home, South Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Annapolis, Md., Mrs. Rawlings came to Manatee County from there in 1973. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Bradenton Wesleyan Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Sue Shewbridge and Helen Jarboe, both of Bradenton; a brother, Oliver S. Hill of Upper Marboro, Md.; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
William F. Seger

William F. Seger, 76, of Bradenton, died Sept. 7, 2001, at home.

Born in Waterloo, Iowa, Mr. Seger came to Manatee County from Clayton, Iowa, in 1987. He was the retired owner of Seger's Insurance Agency of Waterloo after 33 years with the business. He was Protestant. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth; a daughter, Sarah Lancaster of Madison, Wis.; a son, Fred, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and two grandchildren.

Alba V. Vissa, 85, of Bradenton, died Sept. 7, 2001, in the Doctors Hospital of Sarasota.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Quincy, Mass. Covell Cremation and Funeral Center is in charge of arrangements. Born in Quincy, Miss Vissa came to Manatee County from there in 1977. She was an electronic technician at Raytheon Corporation in Quincy for 25 years. She attended The Tabernacle in Sarasota.
Survivors include two sisters, Yolanda Ross of Sarasota, and Mary Richards of Weymouth, Mass.

John J. Reasoner, 72, of Bradenton, died Aug. 30, 2001, at home.

Born in Adrian, Mich., Mr. Reasoner came to Manatee County from Topenoby, Mich., in 1980. He was employed by Tex Mex Cafe & Saloon in Sarasota. He served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Gena; a son, Russell "Rusty" of Portland, Ore.; two stepsons, Ronald L. Smith of Arcadia and John L. Smith of Champagine, Ill.; three sisters, Ellen Grof of Adrian, Bernadine Graham of Cement City, Mich., and Deavina Coudron of Palmyra, Mich.; and a brother, Darrell, of Bradenton.

Visitation will be between noon and 2 p.m. today, followed by a 2 p.m. funeral service, in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home in Sevierville with the Rev. Anthony Renison officiating.
Survivors include his wife, Lorna; three sons, Kendall, Michael and Scott; his sister, Colleen Duckworth; his brother, Robert; and his parents, Robert and Merna.

Herschel N. Johnson, 78, of Bradenton, died Sept. 6, 2001, in Lifecare Center of Sarasota.

Born in Bennett, Colo., Mr. Johnson came to Manatee County from Panama Canal in 1988. He was a retired civil servant for the Panama Canal Zone. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion in the Canal Zone.
Survivors include his wife, Andrea Evelyn; a daughter, Alexis Johnson of Miami; a son, Jose, of Littleton, Colo.; and four grandchildren.

Darlen John Hager, 78, of Bradenton, died Sept. 7, 2001, in Manatee Memorial Hospital.

Born in Hamilton, Ohio, Mr. Hager came to Manatee County from Henderson, Ky., in 1952. He was a radio announcer. He attended Trinity United Methodist Church. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a former Bradenton Police officer, former lieutenant with the Manatee County Sheriff's Office; a broadcast announcer for WTRL, WBRD and WDUV; past Hernando de Soto, 1982-83; Lion's Club; Mason; past member of the board of directors of the Florida Heritage Festival; Manatee Community Band; and past member of Palmetto Jaycees.
Survivors include his wife, Betty; two daughters, Cathy Booth of Palmetto and Tammy Quaderer of Bradenton; three sons, Dan, of Bradenton, Rick, of Ellenton, and Jim, of Palmetto; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Miriam W. Butler, 85, of Bradenton, died Sept. 9, 2001, in Blake Medical Center.
Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Tuesday, followed by a 5 p.m. prayer service, at Shannon Funeral Home, 5610 Manatee Ave. W. A memorial mass of Christian burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in the sanctuary of Saints Peter and Paul the Apostles Catholic Church, 2850 75th St. W. Born in Philadelphia, Mrs. Butler came to Manatee County from Bradford, Pa., in 1978. She was a homemaker. She attended Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church. She was president of the Women's Club of the Pebble Springs Condominium Association in Bradenton. She liked to play bridge, knit and crochet.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; five sons, Robert Jr. "Ben" of Newport, R.I., Steve of Port Jervis, N.Y., Michael of Clarksville, Md., Donald of Dallas, Texas, and David of Charlotte, N.C.; two daughters, Margaret Ann Wynkoop of Knox, Pa., and Deborah Blackburn of Wilmington, N.C.; two brothers, William Weber of Summitt, N.J., and Harry Weber; a sister, Bernadette Ruch of Egg Harbor, N.J.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Born in Sopron, Hungary, Mr. Kertesz came to Manatee County from Danbury, Conn., more than 25 years ago. He was the former owner and operator of the Budapest Cafe on Siesta Circle in Sarasota. He served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Hungarian American Club and attended American Legion Kirby Stewart Post No. 24. He liked to fish and cook.
Survivors include his companion, Eloise Logue of Bradenton; a daughter, Eva Marie Collins of Washington, D.C.; three sons, Peter Paul, of Hollywood Fla., Paul Emery, of Asheville, N.C., and Alex Paul, of Bradenton; a brother, Sandor, of Hungary; two sisters, Amalia and Justina, both of Hungary; and four grandchildren.
