Bertha M. Westcott, 87, of Bradenton, died Nov. 30, 2003.

She was preceded in death by husband, Marshall Westcott and son, John Westcott. Survivors include daughter, Mary W. Donahue of Bradenton; sister, Evelyn Newcomber of Montrose, Mich.; grandsons, Matthew Westcott of Las Vegas, Nev., and Kevin Donahue of Edwards, Colo.

Benjamin Leroy Sipe, 57, Palmetto, died Dec. 1, 2003.
Memorial service will be held in Michigan.
Survivors include wife, Nancy, Palmetto; daughters, Victoria McDonald, Calif., Heather Gonzalez, Bradenton, Kim Sanders, Amanda, both of Jackson, Mich.; sons, Thomas, Calif., Leonard J. Riley, Reed City, Mich.; sisters, Jeannine Lark, Rosie Kittredge, both of Concord, Mich.; nine grandchildren.
Thomas Daily, Munster, Ind.
Thomas Daily, 72, formerly of Munster, Ind., died November 26.
A memorial service will be in Munster, December 12.
Owner of Daily Heating Company in Hammond, Ind., he later worked as Purchasing Manager at Purdue University. He was a graduate of Indiana University and a member of Beta Theta Pi Fraternity.
He is survived by his wife, Jean and daughter, Janet, of Bradenton, his twin brother James (Carolyn) of Columbus, N.C., and his brother-in-law, Alan Bradford of Hammond and was preceded in death by his sister, Dalores.

Joseph McCool, 58, died November 27, 2003, at Manatee Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Derry City, Ireland. He moved to Ellenton from Sarasota, six months ago. He was a general contractor. He was Catholic.
He is survived by his wife, Laraine McCool of Ellenton.
Kenton C. "Ken" Deere, Bradenton
Kenton C. "Ken" Deere, 88, of Bradenton, died Nov. 30, 2003, at Highland Lake Center in Lakeland.
Born Dec. 23, 1914, in Mangham, La., he moved to Bradenton in 1958 from Norfolk, Va. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1936 to 1958, and served in WWII and the Korean War. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Bradenton.
He is survived by a daughter, Kathleen Mislovic, Lakeland; brothers, Hubert and Aaron, both of Monroe, La.; and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 3 at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes, 43rd St. Chapel, 604 43rd St. W. Services will be at 11a.m., Thursday, Dec. 4 at the funeral home with Rev. Warren Ruby officiating. Burial will be in Palmetto Cemetery in Palmetto. William Denver Morris, 64, of Palmetto, died at home on Nov. 27, 2003.
He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, and moved to Manatee County in 1990 from Cincinnati.
Survivors include his two sons, William E. Morris and Darren T. Morris, both of Cincinnati, Ohio; and three grandchildren.

Waylon R. Skinner, 19, of Myakka City, died November 29, 2003, at Manatee Memorial Hospital.

Waylon was born in Bradenton and was a lifelong resident. He was a 2002 graduate of Lakewood Ranch High School and Manatee Technical Institute and worked as Certified Marine Mechanic with Innovation Marine in Sarasota.
He is survived by his parents, Marla and Steven Skinner of Myakka City; maternal grandmother, Emma LaMonica of Littletown, Pa.; paternal grandparents, Ival Max and Barbara Skinner of White Springs; and a large and loving family including four great-aunts; three great-uncles; seven aunts; three uncles; and many cousins and friends.

Evelyn M. Lloyd, of Bradenton, died Dec. 1, 2003 at Blake Medical Center.
Born Sept. 29, 1942, in Toledo, Ohio, she moved to Bradenton in 1978. She was an Administrative Agenda Coordinator for Manatee County Government for the past three years and the previous 22 years for the Clerk of the Court. She attended Ss. Peter & Paul the Apostles Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, Ron; son, Greg of Palmetto; daughter, Kim Basel of Woodstock, Ga; sister, Arlene Gurzynski of Toledo, Ohio, and two grandchildren, Alexis and Zachary Basel.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 4 at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes, 26th St. Chapel, 5624 26th St. W. A funeral mass will be 10 a.m., Friday, Dec. 5 at Ss.
