Reable Griffith Tinsley, Bradenton
Reable Griffith Tinsley, 84, of Bradenton, Florida, died on November 29, 2003.
Services and burial will be in Adairville, Kentucky.
Born in Jenkins, Kentucky, as the eldest daughter of Samuel and Nancy Griffith, Reable graduated from Milligan College and Peabody College in Tennessee. As a master teacher of mathematics for 33 years, she taught at Jenkins High in Jenkins, Kentucky (1942-46); Fulton High in Fulton, Kentucky (1950-55); Hillsborough High in Tampa (1956-1968); and Manatee High in Bradenton (1968-80).
Survivors include her sister, H.G. "Gechie" Holtzclaw; her sons, Tuck Tinsley III and Thomas Griffith Tinsley; three granddaughters, Meghan Elizabeth Tinsley, Abigail Suzanne Tinsley, and Sarah Katelynn Tinsley; and two grandsons, Kyle Myers Tinsley and Troy Bennett Tinsley.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Printing House for the Blind, 1839 Frankfort Avenue, Louisville, Kentucky. Brown & Sons Funeral Homes, 26th St. Chapel, Bradenton, is in charge of arrangements.

Douglas W. Mann, 39, of Bradenton, FL, died Nov. 28, 2003. Memorial Services to be held on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 4 P.M. at home of Candace DiSanto.
He is survived by his mother Patricia; two sisters, Patricia Quimby of Palm Harbor and Candace DiSanto of Bradenton; brother, Charles of Venice.

H. Thomas Kirchner, 44, of Lakewood Ranch, died Nov. 29, 2003.
Born January 30, 1959 in Long Branch, NJ, he moved to Lakewood Ranch in 2000 from Orlando, FL.

Robert W. Hawkins, 65, of Palmetto, FL, died at his home Nov. 29, 2003.
Born Oblong, IL. He was in Maintenance for the Manatee County School System.

Edward Mathis
Mr. Edward Mathis died Friday Evening November 28, 2003 at Live Oak Manor in Dothan, AL. He was 91.
Funeral Services will be Sunday November 30, 2003 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Kent-Thornton-Meadows Funeral Home in Dothan with the Rev. John Smith officiating.
A comitial service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday December 4, 2003 at Manasota Memorial Park in Bradenton, FL. The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:30 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at the home of Mr. Edwards son Steve and Emily Mathis in Cottonwood, AL. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made to the Wiregrass Hospice or American Cancer Society.
Mr. Mathis was born on January 4, 1912 in South Houston County, the son of James Ervin Mathis and Pearlie Ivory Bruner Mathis. He was reared in the Cottonwood Community and lived there most of his life. Mr. Mathis was retired from the insurance business in Bradenton, FL. He was a World War II Disabled Veteran serving with the Army Eighth Air Force, 97th Group in England and North Africa. Mr. Mathis was a member of Hodgesville Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by: Parents, James Ervin Mathis and Pearlie Ivory Bruner Mathis; Wife, Hazel Terry Mathis; two sisters, Pansey Whitehead and Lucille Barfield; two brothers, Walter and Ruell Mathis. He is survived by Son and Daughter in Law, Steve and Emily Mathis of Cottonwood, AL.
Christine Dearmin Frye, Bradenton
Christine "Chris" Dearmin Frye, 65, of Bradenton, died at home on November 29, 2003.
Memorial service will be Thursday, Dec. 4, 10 a.m. at Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, Manasota Chapel.
Survivors include her husband, Donald; mother, Elva Dearmin; three sons; four stepdaughters, a brother, a sister and 13 grandchildren.

Margaret Janice Tipps Patterson Hudson, 75, of Bradenton, died Saturday, Nov. 29, 2003.
Visitation will be at 4:30 P.M. Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2003 followed by services at 5:30 P.M. at Kicliter Funeral Home, 517 8th Ave. W., Palmetto with Pastor Dennis Tabor of Tenth Street Baptist officiating.
She was born in White Deer, TX on June 5, 1928. She is survived by four children, Janice Bradshaw, Vickye Wakefield Tucker and Timothy Patterson of TX and Charles Patterson, Jr. of Palmetto; eight grandchildren, Casey Bradshaw, Lori Hendricks and Chad Wakefield of TX; Toby and Jeremy Patterson of Palmetto and Cory Patterson of Parrish; six great grandchildren, Lucas Bradshaw, Kaitlynn and Caleb Hendricks and Cash Wakedfield of TX, Maggi Patterson of Bradenton and Matthew Patterson of Parrish; a sister Edna Marie Lowney of CA; a sister-in-law Elaine Tipps of FL. She is preceded in death by husband Roy Hudson, brother Harold Tipps and sister Inetta Tipps Davis.
Ralph W. Overstreet, Bradenton
Ralph W. Overstreet, 83, of Bradenton, died November 28, 2003 at Blake Medical Center.
Born on November 7, 1920 in Plant City, FL, he moved to Bradenton in 1929 from Parrish, FL. He retired from the U.S. Navy after 24 years in active service and six years in reserves.
He was a member of Bible Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Jean; two sons, Alan and Harold; a sister Cleo Brown of Bradenton; four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 2 at Brown & Sons Funeral Homes 43rd St. Chapel, 604 43rd St. W., Bradenton, with services at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 3 at the funeral home. Pastor Gary Byram officiating.
A committal service will follow at Manasota Memorial Park in Bradenton, with Military Honors performed by American Legion Kirby Stewart Post #24 Honor Guard of Bradenton. Memorial donations may be made to Camp Tracey, c/o Bible Baptist Church, 2113 Morgan Johnson Road, Bradenton, FL 34208.

Sandra Binkley, 61, of Bradenton died on November, 25, 2003.
Born on September 6, 1942 in Augusta Springs, VA, Mrs. Binkley came here in 1991 from Yorktown, VA. She worked as an Administrator for Copy Concepts in Sarasota and attended St. Mary Magdalene Episcopal Church.
Mrs. Binkley is survived by her husband, Chuck Binkley of Bradenton; sons, Christopher Siemers of Bradenton and Andrew Siemers of Hampton, VA; daughter Kelly Ducham of Naples, FL and five grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 6, 10 a.m. at St. Mary Magdalene Episcopal Church in Bradenton, Rev. James G. Williamson officiating, followed by a gathering at the Binkley home after the service. She was born January 12, 1934 in Ada, OH. She was a Manager at Manatee Memorial Hospital.
Lt. Charles Edward McMillan, Bradenton
Lt. Charles Edward McMillan, 36, of Bradenton, died November 29, 2003.
He was a native of Bradenton. He was a former Lieutenant with the Bradenton Police Department with 15 years of service and a member of Colonial Baptist Church.
He is survived by his mother, Linda Smith of Bradenton; brother, Darrin Henderson of Colorado; uncles, William Samuels, Thomas Samuels and James Samuels, all of Bradenton; his aunt, Cherly Sacony of Philadelphia, PA; maternal grandfather, Fred Samuels of Bradenton; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
