Anthony F. Cooper, 91, of Bradenton, died Sept. 15, 2003, at home.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, 1221 53rd Ave. E. Mass will be 9:30 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 3100 26th St. W. Entombment will be in Manasota Memorial Park.
Born in McKeesport, Pa., Mr. Cooper came to Manatee County from Merrick, N.Y., in 1980. He worked in the aircraft maintenance department with Pan American World Airways. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Janice L. Scharff of Bradenton; two sons, Richard A., of New York, and Alan F., of Hendersonville, N.C.; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Wayne Fox, Bradenton
Wayne Fox, 67, of Bradenton, died Sept. 12, 2003, in Blake Medical Center.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Shannon Funeral Home, 1015 14th St. W. Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Mr. Marty Martin officiating. Burial will be in Manasota Memorial Park.
Born in Madison, Mr. Fox came to Manatee County from there 53 years ago. He was a self-employed truck driver.
Survivors include his wife, Beth; six daughters, Debbie Willis and Linda Carmean, both of Morehead City, N.C., Sandra Everette of Kingsport, Tenn.; Missy Pope of Palmetto, Peggy Smith of Atlantic, N.C., and Peanut Pope of Sarasota; three sons, Tink, and John DeSear, both of Bradenton, and Rodney DeSear of North Port; 25 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
John Joseph Gilroy, Bradenton Beach
John Joseph Gilroy, 69, of Bradenton Beach, died Sept. 10, 2003, in Blake Medical Center.

Born in Jamaica, N.Y., Mr. Gilroy came to Manatee County from New York City in 1994. He was a television producer, who produced the Dick Cavett Show and received two Emmy Awards. He was Roman Catholic. He served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include a son, Adam, of Hudson, Mass.; a sister, Evelyn Dunbar of Smithtown, N.Y.; and a grandchild.

Adam M. Green, 20, of Palmetto, died Sept. 13, 2003, in Manatee Memorial Hospital.
Visitation will be 1:30-2:30 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church of Palmetto, 1020 Fourth St. W. Service will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the church, with Dr. Michael Parris officiating. Born in Murfreesboro, Tenn., Mr. Green came to Manatee County from there 18 years ago. He worked in retail sales at Samsonite Luggage Store at the Ellenton Outlet Mall. He attended First Baptist Church of Palmetto.
Survivors include his parents, Daniel and Barbara, of Palmetto; two brothers, Lucas, and Caleb, both of Palmetto; his maternal grandparents, M.B. "Mickey" Harrison Jr. and Patricia Elmore of Palmetto; and his paternal grandmother, Lavinia, of Nashville, Tenn.

June Dorothy Lambert, 86, of Holmes Beach, died Sept. 10, 2003, at home.
Memorial Mass will be 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 248 S. Harbor Drive, Holmes Beach. A reception will follow at the Key Royale Club, 700 Key Royale Drive, Holmes Beach. Born in St. Paul, Minn., Mrs. Lambert came to Manatee County from Wichita, Kan., in 1982. She was a homemaker. She was Catholic. She was a member of the Key Royale Club, the Minnesota and Kansas hospital auxiliaries and the League of Women Voters.
Survivors include two daughters, Judith L., of Berkeley, Calif., and Mary Lynn Dwight of Bradenton; a son, Laurence L., of St. Petersburg; a sister, Marly Paetznick of Forest Lake, Md.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Judyn Reagan Langdon, Terra Ceia
Judyn Reagan Langdon, 74, of Terra Ceia, died Sept. 12, 2003, at home.

Born in Niagara Falls, N.Y., Ms. Langdon came to Manatee County from North Carolina 21 years ago. She was a bookkeeper at the Bradenton Country Club for 17 years.
Survivors include four sons, David J., of Crystal River, Peter J., of Terra Ceia, Steven J., of Las Vegas, and Mark J., of Leadville, Colo.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Edwin E. Maillard, Bradenton
Edwin E. Maillard, 84, of Bradenton, died Sept. 12, 2003, in Manatee Memorial Hospital.
Memorial service will be in Staten Island, N.Y., at a later date. National Cremation Society, Sarasota Chapter, is in charge of cremation arrangements.
Born in Staten Island, Mr. Maillard came to Manatee County from there in 1991. He was retired. He served as a private in the U.S. Army during World War II and also served in the U.S. Coast Guard. He was a member of the American Legion of Oneco, the Eagles, and the Elks, both of Bradenton, the Moose, the Showtimers (Ringling Circus Retired Performers), and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include a daughter, Theresa Kullman of Staten Island; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
George Plase Jr., Bradenton
George Plase Jr., 57, of Bradenton, died Sept. 2, 2003, in Hospice House of Bradenton.

Born in Greenwood, Miss., Mr. Plase came to Manatee County from Homestead in 1992. He was a masonry worker. He was Baptist.

William F. Thomas, Bradenton
William F. Thomas, 85, of Bradenton, died Sept. 14, 2003, in Bradenton Hospice House.

Born in Worcester, Mass., Mr. Thomas came to Manatee County from Beltsville, Md., in 1982. He retired as vice president from Citizens Bank and Trust Co. in Riverdale, Md. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, where he served as an usher. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a lifetime member of American Legion Post 217 in College Park, Md., and served on the Maryland Veterans Commission.
Survivors include his wife, Muriel; two daughters, Carolyn Selby of Cooper City and Martha Warner of Jacksonville; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Ray W. Tomlin, 88, of Bradenton, died Sept. 15, 2003, in Surrey Place.

Survivors include two daughters, Judith K. Lake of Chillicothe, Ill., and Patricia J. Wilder of Bradenton; a son, Cordell R., of Scottsdale, Ariz.; 15 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
