Burial is in Skyway Memorial Gardens, Palmetto. Born in Chicago, Mrs. England came to Manatee County from El Paso, Texas, in 1980. She was a caregiver for many years. She was Protestant.
Survivors include her husband, Gordon; four daughters, Karen Braden of Columbus, Ga., Sandra Markus of Waupun, Wis., Terry Pearson of Fond Du Lac, Wis., and Kim Watson of El Paso; two sons, John Langford of Mooresville, N.C., and Kenneth Langford of Copperas Cove, Texas; a sister, Evie Disabato of Tinley Park, Ill.; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
William K. Knudson, Bradenton Beach
William K. Knudson, 76, of Bradenton Beach, died May 23, 2003, in Heritage Park Care and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Mineola, N.Y., Mr. Knudson came to Manatee County from Jamesport, N.Y., 3½ years ago. He owned Knudson Elevator on Long Island City, N.Y. He attended Roser Memorial Community Church. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Floral Park, N.Y.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth S.; a son, Robert W., of Tampa; and a sister, Nancy Niebuhr of Hicksville, N.Y.
Helen Bennett Story, Bradenton
Helen Bennett Story, 91, of Bradenton, died May 25, 2003, in Westminster Asbury Manor.

Born in Champaign County, Ohio, Mrs. Story came to Manatee County from Madison, N.J., in 1976. She worked as a reading specialist for 30 years in Madison's public school system. She attended Kirkwood Presbyterian Church. She belonged to Sweet Adelines, Order of Eastern Star in Urbana, Ohio, and Paternal Order of the Elks Sisterhood.
Survivors include a daughter, Karen Jo Gounaud of Columbia, S.C.; a sister, Evelyn Weller of Urbana; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Grace M. Wunsch, 96, of Sarasota, formerly of Bradenton, died May 20, 2003.

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Mrs. Wunsch came to Southwest Florida from Howard Beach, Queens, N.Y., in 1968. She was a homemaker. She was a Lutheran.

George R. Cooper, 87, of Palmetto, died May 24, 2003, in Manatee Memorial Hospital.

Born in Denver, Mr. Cooper came to Manatee County from Orono in 1982. He retired as a professor of plant physiology from University of Maine, Orono. He attended Church of Universal Fellowship in Orono. He was a member of American Legion in Maine and an honorary member of the Experimental Aircraft Association in Bangor, Maine. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Jane Ann; a son, Brian G., of Gaithersburg, Md.; and two grandchildren.

Helen L. Brubaker, 71, of Bradenton, died May 25, 2003.

Born in Denbigh, Va., Mrs. Brubaker came to Manatee County in 1951. She retired after 32 years as the co-owner and operator of WKZM Christian Radio Station in Sarasota. She belonged to the National Religious Broadcasters Association and attended Bayshore Mennonite Church.
Survivors include her husband, Lowell A.; a daughter, Dianne R. Malueg of Chicago; a son, Robert L., of Waynesboro, Va.; three sisters, Donna Brunk of Bradenton, Kathryn Weyh of Franklin, N.C., and Joyce Anders of Souderton, Pa.; her mother, Sylvia Sommer of Bradenton; and three grandchildren.

Born in Hasting, Mich., Mr. Craig came to Manatee County from Kalamazoo, Mich., in 1977. He was a groundskeeper for Western University in Michigan. He attended First Baptist Church of Palmetto.

William J. Dzwonkowski, 48, of Clearwater, and formerly of Bradenton, died April 7, 2003, at home.

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Mr. Dzwonkowski came to Manatee County from Fort Myers in 1990. He was a cardiovascular technologist at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, Manatee Memorial Hospital and Blake Medical Center prior to moving to Clearwater. He was Catholic. He was a former member of the Jaycees of Cape Coral.
Survivors include a daughter, Michelle, of Cape Coral; a son, William S., of Bradenton; his mother, Roberta, of Sebring; a sister, Linda A. Mason of Clearwater; and two brothers, Robert, of Sunrise, and Stanley, of Jupiter.
