Born in Bradenton, Mr. Polk was a former resident of Manatee County. He was a surgical technician. He was a licensed pilot.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Angela Loyd; a son, Andrew, of Bradenton; his mother, Shirley Foutch of Cortez, Colo.; his father, Roger Morin of Miami; and two sisters, Alice Margaret Johnson and Charlene Gross.
Carina Mariel Presa, Bradenton
Carina Mariel Presa, 35, of Bradenton, died Feb. 8, 2003, at home.

Born in San Carlos, Uruguay, Ms. Presa came to Manatee County from Stamford, Conn., in 1996. She was a housekeeper.

Marguerite "Margot" Tessier, 88, of Longwood, formerly of Bradenton Beach, died Feb. 7, 2003, in Florida Hospital, Orlando.

Born in Montreal, Ms. Tessier came to Manatee County in 1961. She and her husband owned and operated Bayview Cottages of Bradenton Beach for 15 years, then she worked and retired from Manatee Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include two daughters, Marilyn Brady of Longwood, and Jennifer Adams of Tavares; two sons, Daniel and Peter, both of Bradenton; a sister, Laurette Robillard of Quebec; two brothers, Joe and Theo Tremblay, both of Quebec; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Donald L. Williams, 72, of Bradenton, died Feb. 11, 2003, at home.

Born in Browning, Mo., Mr. Williams came to Manatee County from Grand Forks, N.D., in 1973. He retired from the U.S. Air Force and from the State of Florida Job Service. He was Christian. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10141 and the Manatee Community College Six Man Club.
Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Westberry of Bradenton, and Linda Hamstra of Cape Coral; a sister, Cherill Fraley of Bradenton; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Billie J. Bengtson, 73, of Ellenton, died Feb. 4, 2003, in Palmetto Guest Home.

Born in South Bend, Ind., Mrs. Bengtson came to Manatee County from Brattleboro in 1997. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Centre Congregational Church, Brattleboro. She was a member of the Elks Auxiliary of Brattleboro.
Survivors include two sons, Chris, of Ellenton, and Craig, of Brattleboro; two sisters, Merrie Hupp of Ellenton, and Marge Morrison of Bradenton; a brother, John Hupp of Palmetto; and four grandchildren.

Born in Worcester, Mass., Mr. Gannon came to Manatee County from Middletown, N.J., in 1990. He retired as a special agent from the FBI in 1977. He was a member of Saint Bernard Catholic Church. He served in the the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of Elks Club Lodge No. 1511.
Survivors include his companion, Bonnie Gormley; two daughters, Patty Kaylor of Belford, N.J., and Joanne Moher of Scituate, Mass.; four sons, William and Mark, both of Port Monmouth, N.J., Robert, of Westchester, Pa., and Don, of Union Beach, N.J.; and four grandchildren.

Born in Bradenton, Mr. Gilmore was a lifelong resident of Manatee County. He was a computer repair specialist. He was Baptist. He served in the U.S. Army as a medical technician with Special Forces during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Donna L.; two sons, Steven Jr., of Indianapolis, and Jeffrey Edward, of Bradenton; his mother, Barbara Daffer of Ellenton; his stepfather, Ted Daffer of Ellenton; two sisters, Carolyn Henderson of Bradenton, and Mary Jean, of Tampa; a brother, Scott, of Bradenton; and a grandchild.
