Born in Tuscaloosa, Ala., Mr. Swindle came to Manatee County from Spanish Fort in 2002. He owned and operated a service station and worked at service stations in Spanish Fort. He was Baptist. He was a 32nd Degree Shriner of the Spanish Fort Lodge.
Survivors include his daughter, Kathy, of Bradenton; and a brother, Jimmy, of Tuscaloosa.

Margaret R. Weiner, 89, of Bradenton, died Feb. 8, 2003, in Manatee Memorial Hospital.
Memorial service will be at a later date. National Cremation Society, Sarasota Chapter, is in charge of cremation arrangements.
Born in Omaha, Neb., Mrs. Weiner came to Manatee County from Chicago in the 1930s. She was a homemaker. She attended St. Joseph Catholic Church. She volunteered with Welcome Wagon.
Survivors include a daughter, Carol Underhill of Sarasota; two sisters, Babe Curry, and Mary Jane, of Omaha; and two grandchildren.
George D. Williams, Telogia
George D. "Junior" Williams, 71, of Telogia, formerly of Manatee County, died Feb. 7, 2003, in Telogia.
Service will be 10 a.m. today at Skyway Memorial Gardens Chapel, 5200 U.S. Highway 19 N., Palmetto, with the Rev. Greg Darst officiating. Burial will be in Skyway Memorial Gardens. Ellenton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Houston, Ala., Mr. Williams lived in Manatee County for 33 years before moving to Telogia. He was a carpenter. His religious affiliation was Holiness. He served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley H.; three daughters, Angela Samanie of Tallahassee, Sheri Creel of Bristol, and Teresa Vinson of Grand Ridge; two sisters, Lucy Currnette of Fort Pierce, and Edna Burke of Daleville, Ala.; a brother, John, of Hosford; and four grandchildren.

Frank A. Medeiros, 44, of Bradenton, died Feb. 7, 2003, at home.

Born in Mount Kisco, N.Y., Mr. Medeiros came to Manatee County from Mystic, Conn., in 1992. He was Catholic.

Born in Cleveland, Mr. Schmaltz came to Manatee County from Commerce Township, Mich., in 1980. He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church. He served as a captain in the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean War.

Born in Ewing, Va., Mr. Stroud came to Manatee County from Morristown, Tenn., in 1965. He was retired from Tropicana, where he worked as a juice extractor for more than 26 years. He was Protestant. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Born in Chicago, Mr. Carroll came to Manatee County from Tampa in 1985. He retired 30 years ago from the U.S. Air Force, where he worked as a historian with the Office of Information and served during World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. He was Catholic. He was a member of Knights of Columbus and American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Joset; a daughter, Roberta L., of San Francisco; four sons, Ramon P. Jr., of Augusta, Ga., Christopher L. and Terrance J., both of Tampa, and Timothy J., of Canton Ohio; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of International Association of Machinist and Aerospace Workers.
Survivors include his wife, Angela M.; a daughter, Jeannette Brown of Waterville, Ohio; a stepdaughter, Shirley J. Koehler of Dundee, Mich.; two sons, James S., of Swanton, Ohio, and Joseph P., of Scottsdale, Ariz.; two stepsons, Lynnwood F. Koehler of Venice, and James D. Born in Waterbury, Conn., Mrs. Rosinski came to Manatee County from Pinckney, Conn., in 1979. She was a homemaker. She was Methodist. She served in the U.S. Navy Waves during during World War II. She was a member of Naval Air Transport Service.
Survivors include her husband, Leon J.; a daughter, Paula Cox of Indianapolis; a son, Richard Edward Regensburg of Manchester, Mich.; a brother, Donald Bellinger of East Berlin, Conn.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Mr. Watkins was born in Stuttgart, Germany. He was an auto mechanic.

Born in Passaic, N.J., Mr. Neal came to Manatee County from Homestead in 1983. He was a general contractor with F.S. Builders of Sarasota. He was Methodist. He was a member of Manatee County Home Builders Association, Sarasota Chamber of Commerce and Southern Building Code Congress International.
Survivors include his wife, Nancie; a son, William Patrick, of Palmetto; a sister, Michele Adams of Alva; and his mother, Norma Scott of North Fort Myers.
