Harold J. Lehning, 96, of Palmetto, died Feb. 5, 2003, in Bradenton.
Visitation will be 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Ellenton Funeral Home, 3411 U.S. 301 N., Ellenton. Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 504 26th St. W., Palmetto, with the Rev. Richard York officiating. Burial will follow in Mansion Memorial Park, 1400 36th Ave. E., Ellenton.
Born in Yonkers, N.Y., Mr. Lehning came to Manatee County from Glendale, Long Island, N.Y., in 1970. He was a telephone company repairman. He was Catholic. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus of Bradenton.
Mario Quintero, Bradenton
Mario Quintero, 73, of Bradenton, died Feb. 5, 2003, in Blake Medical Center.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. today at Brown and Sons Funeral Home, 604 43rd St. W. Service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 3100 26th St. W. Burial will be in Ellenton. Born in LaVictoria, Colombia, Dr. Quintero came to Manatee County from Canton, Ohio, in 1977. He was an emergency room doctor at Blake Medical Center and medical director for the emergency room at Southbay Hospital in Sun City Center, and he had worked for several area walk-in clinics over the years. He was a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Linda A.; a daughter, Carolyn, of Tampa; two sons, Tony, of Hinsdale, Ill., and Mario Jr., of Avon Lake, Ohio; two brothers, Manuel and Luis Ernesto, both of Cali, Colombia; and six grandchildren.
Carol T. Thompson, Bradenton
Carol T. Thompson, 61, of Bradenton, died Feb. 6, 2003, in Blake Medical Center.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Brown and Sons Funeral Home, 604 43rd St. W. Service will be 10 a.m. Monday at Saints Peter and Paul The Apostles Catholic Church, 2850 75th St. W., with the Very Rev. Edward D. Moretti officiating. Burial will be in Palmetto. Born in Queens, N.Y., Ms. Thompson came to Manatee County from there in 1956. She worked in the marine industry. She was a member of the Suncoast Purchasing Association.
Survivors include two sons, Shayne T., and Deryck J., both of Bradenton; and a grandchild.

Mary Zyla, 82, of Bradenton, died Feb. 3, 2003, at home.

Born in Pennsylvania, Mrs. Zyla came to Manatee County from Lecanto in 2001. She was a homemaker. She was Catholic.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Ann Zyla-Smith of Bradenton; two sisters, Susan Kovalchik of Beverly Hills, and Anna Sarnak of New Jersey; and three brothers, Peter Kovalchik, Andy Kovalchik and George Kovalchik, all of Michigan.

Mary L. Bell, 81, of Oneco, died Feb. 5, 2003, at home.
Visitation will be 6-7 p.m. today at Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, 1221 53rd Ave. E. Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Military honors will be conducted by American Legion Kirby Stewart Post No. 24 Honor Guard in the rotunda at Manasota Memorial Park following the service. Burial will be in Manasota Memorial Park. Born in New York City, Mrs. Bell came to Manatee County from Tampa in 1955. She retired as an accountant and also taught school in Manatee County. She was Protestant. She served in the U.S. Army during World War II. She was a member of Disabled American Veterans Chapter 18, American Legion Kirby Stewart Post No. 24 and was the founding director of Oneco Teen Club.
Survivors include a daughter, Adrienne V. Butto of Bradenton; two sons, William J. Alexander of Land O' Lakes, and Thomas C. Sheley of Palmetto; a sister, Joan L. Gier of Bradenton; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
John F. Kincaid, Sarasota
John F. Kincaid, 79, of Sarasota, died Feb. 4, 2003.

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Mr. Kincaid came to Manatee County from Forest Hills, Queens, N.Y., 15 years ago. He was in the bond business. He was a member of St. Michaels Roman Catholic Church in Siesta Key. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of the American Legion, the Elks and the Forest Lakes Golf Club.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia; a daughter, Patricia McCaffrey of Glendale, Queens; a son, John F. Jr., of Elmont, Long Island, N.Y.; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Born in Fairmont, W.Va., Mrs. Miller came to Manatee County from Erie 10 years ago. She was a homemaker.

He was a member of Saints Peter and Paul The Apostles Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Navy overseas during World War II. He was a member of Kirby Stewart American Legion Post 24, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10141 and past member of the Manatee County Golf Association.
Survivors include his wife, Joan B.; two daughters, Lori A. Stevens of Myakka City, and Ellen M., of Bradenton; a son, David S., of Fredericksburg, Va.; and a sister, Mary Lou Brugger of Springfield, Ohio.

Born in Paragon, Ind., Mr. Walters came to Manatee County from Indiana in 1990. He retired as an operating engineer. He was a member of North River Assembly of God and the Assembly of God, Cloverdale, Ind. He served in the U.S. 5th Air Force 13th Squadron from 1942-45. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 292 of Pimento, Ind., the Scottish Rite, Valley of Terre Haute and the Zorah Shrine Temple.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria J.; a daughter, Deborah R. May of Bradenton; two sons, David M., of Princeton, Ind., and Dewey M., of Shelburn, Ind.; two sisters, Martha Thompson and Jean Bruce, both of Indiana; two brothers, John and Robert, both of Indiana; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Born in Gillman, Ind., Mrs. Frost came to Manatee County from Anderson, Ind., in 1967. She retired as a forklift driver for Tropicana. She was a member of Palmview First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald; three daughters, Rebecca Lee and Rocky Martin, both of Bradenton, and Rhonda Hayes of Summitville, S.C.; a sister, Kathleen Hunt of Anderson; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Rhonda J. Roberts, Sarasota
Rhonda J. Roberts, 46, of Sarasota, and formerly of Bradenton, died Jan. 29, 2003, in Sarasota Memorial Hospital.
Visitation will be 2-7 p.m. Friday at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 2504 Gillispie Ave., Sarasota; a family wake will be 6-7 p.m. at the church. Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the church with the Rev. Dr. Albert L. Phillips officiating. Serenity Funeral Home, Crystal River, is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Sarasota, Ms. Roberts grew up in Manatee County. She worked as a social worker at the Department of Children and Families in Sarasota for 20 years. She was a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church and served as the church correspondent for the Pastor's Aide ministry.
