Alma D. Baldwin, 84, of Ellenton, died Feb. 3, 2003, in Manatee Memorial Hospital.
Memorial service will be at a later date. National Cremation Society, Sarasota Chapter, is in charge of cremation arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Church on the Rock, 1401 14th Ave. W., Palmetto, Fla. 34221; or to the charity of one's choice.
Born in Schenectady, N.Y., Mrs. Baldwin came to Manatee County from Highland Park, N.J., in 1977. She retired as a quality controller for Westinghouse. She was active in civic affairs in New Jersey and worked under the direction of naval engineers on the television camera for the 1969 lunar landing. She was a member of Church on the Rock.
Survivors include her daughter, Ruth Ann DeBriel and Judith, both of Ellenton; a son, John, of Southampton, Pa.; a grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.
Blanche R. Barton, Bradenton
Blanche R. Barton, 83, of Bradenton, died Feb. 5, 2003, in Sunbridge Care & Rehabilitation.
Services will be in Endicott, N.Y. Bradenton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Endicott. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 1230 S. Tuttle Ave., Sarasota, Fla. 34239.
Born in Newark Valley, N.Y., Mrs. Barton came to Manatee County from Endicott in 1984. She was an assembler at IBM for 17 years.
Survivors include three sons, Bruce and Ralph, both of Endwell, N.Y., and F. Daniel, of North Charleston, S.C.; two sisters, Mildred Bloemer of Bradenton, and Thelma Lusk of White Plains, N.Y.; four brothers, Martin Russell of Palmetto and Pennsville, N.J., Donald Russell of Bradenton, Kenneth Russell of Berkshire, N.Y., and Gordon Russell of Watkins Glen, N.Y.; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Margaret M. Becker, 88, of Bradenton, died Feb. 1, 2003, in Manatee Memorial Hospital.

Born in Buffalo, N.Y., Mrs. Becker came to Manatee County from there 20 years ago. She was a department store manager. She attended Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church.
Survivors include her niece, Carolyn Hutchinson of Bradenton.

A.David Blanchard Sr., 52, of Bradenton, died Feb. 4, 2003, at home.

Born in Tampa, Mr. Blanchard was a lifelong resident of Manatee County. He was an equipment technician at Tatum Ridge Golf Course for three years and worked in the drainage department for the City of Bradenton for 10 years.
Survivors include his wife, Pamela; a daughter, Misty, of Sarasota; two sons, A. David Jr., of Sarasota, and Eric B. Reilly of Bradenton; a brother, James Ellis Lee of Winter Haven; two sisters, Anna Ramirez of Arkansas, and Mary Ramirez of Bradenton; and three grandchildren.
Margaret Madeline Berny, Lebanon, Ohio
Margaret Madeline Berny, 89, of Lebanon, Ohio, and formerly of Bradenton, died Feb. 3, 2003.
Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Friday in the Chapel at Skyway Memorial Gardens, 5200 U.S. 19N., Palmetto. Service will follow at 11 a.m. in the Chapel at Skyway Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. John C. Berny officiating. Burial will be in Skyway Memorial Gardens.
Born in Pittsburgh, Mrs. Berny came to Manatee County from there in 1968. She was a sales clerk for a department store. She was Presbyterian.
Survivors include two sons, Charles A., of Fairfield, Glade, Tenn., and Glenn T., of Cumming, Ga.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Doris; a daughter, Carole Marks of Woodbridge, Ill.; three sons, Drew, of Lemont, Roger, of Bakersfield, Calif., and Steve, of Homer Glen, Ill.; a sister, Irene Bakan of Tuscon, Ariz.; a brother, Raymond, of Lemont; and 11 grandchildren.

Born in Detroit, Mrs. Maynard came to Manatee County from Lapeer, Mich., in 1962. She retired as a seamstress for Taylor Made (formerly Aldon Industries) in Bradenton after several years. She was Lutheran.
Survivors include her husband, James A.; two sons, David A., of Eaglewood, and Walter J., of Bradenton; a sister, Janet S. Nauyokas of Livonia, Mich.; and a brother, Ralph W. Lithgow of Canyon Lake, Calif.

Vernon K. Strom, 75, of Bradenton, died Feb. 2, 2003, in Doctors Hospital of Sarasota.

Born in Youngstown, Ohio, Mr. Strom came to Manatee County from there in 1991. He was a truck mechanic in the transportation industry. He served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy; four daughters, Sandra "Sue" Fee of Fort Myers, Terrill Smith of Novi, Mich., Beverly Koutsourais of Largo, and Marilyn Haddle of Youngstown; two sons, Ronald and Charles, both of Youngstown; and eight grandchildren.

Dimple Grace Coope, 68, of Bradenton, died Feb. 5, 2003, in Blake Medical Center.

Born in Ithaca, N.Y., Mrs. Curran came to Manatee County from there in 1965. She was Methodist. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include a stepdaughter, Helen L. Wyllie of Miami.

Born in Campbellsville, Ky., Mr. Farmer came to Manatee County from Indianapolis in 1956. He retired as a block mason. He was a former member of Masonic Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons 694, Beech Grove, Ind.
