Born in Ottumwa, Iowa, Mr. Frederick came to Manatee County from Oldsmar in 1981. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy, two daughters, Rene and Sadie, both of Bradenton; a son, Matt, of Bradenton; a sister, Barbara Jurisch of Raymore, Mo.; a brother, David, of Texas; and two grandchildren.

Kathryn D. Frost, 74, of Parrish, died Feb. 3, 2003, at home.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Palmview First Baptist Church, 415 49th St. E., Palmetto. National Cremation Society, Sarasota Chapter, is in charge of cremation arrangements.
Born in Gillman, Ind., Mrs. Frost came to Manatee County from Anderson, Ind., in 1967. She retired as a forklift driver for Tropicana. She was a member of Palmview First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald; three daughters, Rebecca Lee and Rocky Martin, both of Bradenton, and Rhonda Hayes of Summitville, Ind.; a sister, Kathleen Hunt of Anderson; and nine grandchildren.
Walter S. McClatchey, Parrish
Walter S. McClatchey, 96, of Parrish, died Jan. 31, 2003, in Magnolia Health & Rehabilitation, Sarasota.
Memorial service will be at a later date in Connecticut. Inurnment will be in Windsorville Cemetery, Conn. National Cremation Society, Sarasota Chapter, is in charge of cremation arrangements.
Born in New York City, Mr. McClatchey came to Manatee County from South Windsor, Conn., 24 years ago. He was a die and tool engineer. He attended Congregation Church of Sarasota. He was a member of 4-H Clubs and the Sarasota Pop's Orchestra.
Survivors include his wife, Esther, a daughter, Lorraine Wetherall of Somers, Conn.; a stepdaughter, Sondra Dornfeld of Parrish; a son, Dr. Robert, of Bedford, Mass.; and five grandchildren.
Gilda Murdock, Bradenton
Gilda Murdock, 92, of Bradenton, and formerly of Anna Maria Island, died Feb. 1, 2003, in Casa Mora Rehab & Extended Care, Bradenton.

Born in London, Mrs. Murdock was a model. She attended Church of The Annunciation. She participated in the church choir and was a volunteer at her church.

William Harold Reed, 84, of Bradenton, died Feb. 3, 2003, in Blake Medical Center.

Born in Hammond, Ind., Mr. Reed came to Manatee County from Fort Branch in 1986. He retired from Whirlpool Corp. in Evansville, Ind., after working there 25 years. He was a member of Congregational United Church of Christ in Bradenton. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of the Village Green Men's Luncheon Group.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; a sister, Mary Elizabeth Ivy of Ellenton; and a brother, Wallace, of Texas.

Born in Noblesville, Ind., Mrs. Wagner came to Manatee County from Indianapolis, Ind., in 1972. She was the owner of Jeri's Vintage Mart of Bradenton. She was a member of Hinkle Creek Friends Church in Hamilton County, Ind.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald Wayne; a son, James D., of Tampa; two sisters, Sharon Griffith of Noblesville and Shirley Shuck of Sarasota; two brothers, Steven Barnes of Myakka City and Patrick Barnes of Indianapolis; and her parents, Orval and Martha Barnes of Sarasota.

Born in Cleveland, Mr. Drake came to Manatee County from there in 1978. He was a purchasing agent and estimator for W.S. Tyler Steel & Elevator Co. in Mentor, Ohio, for 31 years. He was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church. He was involved in various activities at Colony Cove Mobile Home Park.
Survivors include his wife, Helen E.; two daughters, Betty J. Freund of Lakewood, Ohio, and Harriett Prentiss of Evanston, Ill.; a son, Robert, of Broadville Heights, Ohio; a brother, Roman J., of Parma Heights, Ohio.

Born in Ford City, Pa., Mr. Olinger came to Manatee County from Lady Lake in 1997. He was a retailer in Medina, N.Y. He was Protestant. He was a member of the Rotary Club of Medina and the Board of Trustees of Medina, in the late 1960s.
Survivors include his wife, Michelle; two daughters, Patricia D. Woodworth of Lyndonville, N.Y., and Kathleen J.
