Joseph L. Sarandria, 72, of Bradenton, died Dec. 24, 2002, at home.
There will be no local service. Covell Cremation & Funeral Center of Bradenton is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Union City, N.J., Mr. Sarandria came to Manatee County from Fairview, N.J., in 1987. He was a machinist. He served in the U.S. Army as a medic. He was a member of Elks.
Survivors include his wife, Marion; a daughter, Lisa Repetti of Bradenton; a son, Leonard, of Bradenton; and two grandchildren.
George Lewis Snow, Palmetto
George Lewis Snow, 81, of Palmetto, died Dec. 19, 2002, in Manatee Memorial Hospital.
Memorial service will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Kicliter Funeral Home, 517 Eighth Ave. W., Palmetto, with the Rev. Ted Frances officiating. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery, Appleton, Wis. Born in St. Paul Park, Minn., Mr. Snow came to Manatee County from Appleton, Wis., in 1975. He retired as an auto body mechanic. He attended Holy Cross Catholic Church of Palmetto. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a lifelong member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Palmetto Post No.309, and a member of the 1st Ranger Battalion U.S. Army Darby Rangers.
Survivors include a daughter, Michelle M. Meyer of Middleton, Ohio; three sons, Patrick G., of Almond, Wis., Todd J., of Palmetto, and Jody J., of Garner, N.C.; a sister, Patt Shull of Landsdale, Pa.; six grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.
Hubert G. Watson, Bradenton
Hubert G. Watson, 92, of Bradenton, died Dec. 24, 2002, in Westminster Asbury The Towers Health Center.

Born in Brockville, Ontario, Canada, Mr. Watson came to Manatee County from Inverness, Ill., in 1984. He retired as a real estate broker. He was a member of Palma Sola Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Eleanor J.; a son, Ronald D., of Princeton, N.J.; a sister, Virginia Jacobs of Pueblo, Colo.; a brother, Lawrence, of Redwood, N.Y.; and two grandchildren.

Marge D. Anaclerio, 90, of Danville, Ill., and formerly of Bradenton, died Dec. 15, 2002, in Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Danville.

Born in Italy, Ms. Anaclerio came to Manatee County from Chicago in 1947 and lived in Florida until 1990. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Survivors include four sons, Michael, of Aiken, S.C., Dr. Angelo, of Danville, Eugene, of Largo, and LeRoy, of Bradenton; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Suzanne; his mother, Evelyn, of Peoria; two daughters, Robin S. Winiarczyk of Ojibwa, Wis., and Karen C., of Sarasota; and four grandchildren.

Aggie T. Castleman, 86, of Palmetto, died Dec. 14, 2002, in Palmetto Guest Home.

Born in Waverly, Tenn., Mrs. Castleman came to Manatee County from Nashville, Tenn., in 1945. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Manatee County Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, Joe, of Palmetto, and James, of Niceville; a sister, Mae Allen of Nashville; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Truman Wayne Chancey Sr., 59, of Arcadia, and formerly of Bradenton, died Dec. 16, 2002, in DeSoto Memorial Hospital in Arcadia.

Born in Bradenton, Mr. Chancey moved to Arcadia 20 years ago. He was a forklift operator for Tropicana in Bradenton. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Nocatee. He served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife, Debra Ann; a son, Truman Wayne Jr., of Great Falls, Mont.; a sister, Mary Ann; nine step-children; and many grandchildren.
Theodore H. Cole, Anna Maria
Theodore H. Cole, 81, of Anna Maria, died Dec. 15, 2002, at home.

Born in Horseheads, N.Y., Mr. Cole came to Manatee County from Binghamton, N.Y., in 1969. He retired as a mechanical engineer with IBM; and was also a Realtor with The Cole Realty. He served in the U.S. Army Infantry as a 2nd lieutenant during World War II. He was a member of American Legion Kirby Stewart Post No. 24 and Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks No. 1511, both of Bradenton.
Survivors include his wife, Betty; two daughters, Sandra Rich of Anna Maria, and Vicky Hanes of Wilmington, N.C.; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Harry Lewis Freeman, 64, of Holmes Beach, died Dec. 14, 2002, at home.

Born in Columbus, Ohio, Mr. Freeman came to Manatee County from there in 1994. He retired as a stockbroker and salesman. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was a member of the Anna Maria Island Moose Lodge No. 2188.
Survivors include his wife, Sandy; two daughters, Jennifer, of Sarasota, and Missy, of North Carolina; four sons, Mark, of Columbus, David, of Cape Coral, Jamie, of Sarasota, and Brian; two sisters, Mary Kay DiNovo and Hilda Murphy, both of Columbus; five brothers, Doug, Dan, Tim, Steve and Jeff, all of Columbus; his mother, Florence, of Columbus; and 15 grandchildren.

James Nelson Gough, Palmetto
James Nelson Gough, 59, of Palmetto, died Dec. 11, 2002, in Manatee Memorial Hospital.

Born in Cleveland, Mr. Gough came to Manatee County from there in 1967. He retired as a music teacher. He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. He was a member of Sarasota Concert Band, (former player of Euphonium). He was a card-carrying blood donor, giving over 10 gallons of blood.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy; two daughters, Elizabeth and Susan, both of Palmetto; two sons, Tom and David, both of Palmetto; a sister, Marge Larson of Sedona, Ariz.; a brother, Paul, of Sedona; and three grandchildren.

James R. Houghton, 70, of Bradenton, died Dec. 15, 2002, in Blake Medical Center.

Born in Painesville, Ohio, Mr. Houghton came to Manatee County from Cleveland in 1967. He retired as an educator, working in Sarasota County for 24 years. He was Methodist. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard for four years during the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Mary J.; a stepson, Dennis Rainey of Bradenton; a sister, Anne Henderson of Zelienople, Pa.; seven step-grandchildren and eight step-great-grandchildren.
