George Cojacari, 78, of Ellenton, died Nov. 30, 2002, at Reba's House, an assisted living facility.

Born in Detroit, Mr. Cojacari came to Manatee County from Michigan in 1978. He was a retired tradesman for Ford Motor Co. He was Romanian Orthodox. He served in the U.S. Air Force.
Survivors include his wife, Carmen; four daughters, Nancy Peck of Sarasota, Robin Silverest of Zephyrhills, Carmen Moench of Ellenton, and Angie Wilkie of Michigan; a son, Albert Stoll of Ellenton; four sisters, Joann Meagher of New Mexico, Ann Farrinelli, Vera Senko, and Helen Salinis, all of Michigan; a brother, John, of Michigan; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, Mrs. Henne came to Manatee County from Ohio in 2000. She was a homemaker. She attended Baha'i Faith of Manatee County.
Survivors include her husband, Richard C.; a daughter, Heather Caillet of North Carolina; two sons, Todd, of Arkansas, and Kurt, of Bolivia; a sister, Joan Cameron of Ontario, Canada; two brothers, Gordon and Donald Pilcher, both of Winnipeg; and six grandchildren.

Joan Chisholm DeShiro, 67, of Bradenton, died Nov. 29, 2002, at Integrated Health Services of Sarasota.

John Klosner, 92, of Bradenton, died Nov. 30, 2002, in Manatee Memorial Hospital.

Born in Bloomfield, Neb., Mr. Klosner came to Manatee County from Nevis, Minn., in 2002. He was a retired carpenter. He was a member of the Incarnation Catholic Church.

Born in Ashtabula, Ohio, Mrs. Lounsbury came to Manatee County from San Lorenzo, Calif., in 1983. She was the retired office manager for 33 Flavors of Florida, and Jung Charters and Yacht Sales in Sarasota. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a husband, William J.; a sister, Kathryn Ann Nappi of Sebastian; and a brother, James Lindberg of Roaming Shores, Ohio.

Paul E. Rice, 87, of Bradenton, died Nov. 30, 2002, at home.

Born in Plymouth, Pa., Mr. Rice came to Manatee County from Jersey Shore, Pa., in 1979. He was the owner of Rice Farms and Rice Farm Supply Co., Jersey Shore City. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Jersey Shore City. He was retired Sunday school superintendent of First United Methodist Church, Lay Speaker of Pennsylvania Methodist Conference; and past president of Rock Run Hunting in Renovo, Pa.
Survivors include his wife, Maxine; a daughter, Brenda, of Williamsport, Pa.; a son, Ronald, of Royal Oaks, Calif.; two stepsons, Richard Wyland of Pennsylvania, and William Wyland of Jacksonville; a brother, Harold, of Pennsylvania; four grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Born in Ibaragi, Japan, Mr. Sato came to Manatee County from Japan in 1980. He was an auto mechanic. He attended St. Bernard's Catholic Church. He was a member of the Pigeon Club. He also was active with Anna Maria Community Center.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara; five sons, Jason, of Gainesville, and Michael, Benjamin, Joshua and Nicholas, all of Holmes Beach; two sisters, Yoko, of Tokyo, and Chizuko Onubu of Tokyo; and his mother, Fuchino, of Tokyo.

Maida Sliker, 95, of Bradenton, died Dec. 2, 2002, at Westminster Asbury Manor Health Center.

Born in Lebanon, N.J., Mrs. Sliker came to Manatee County from Homestead in 1991. She was a former owner of Everglades Motel in Homestead. She attended First Presbyterian Church of Homestead.

Dorothy M. Biedinger, 88, of Franklin, N.C., and formerly of Manatee County, died Nov. 27, 2002, in Harris Regional Hospital, in Sylva, N.C.
