Emily A. "Peg" Pawlik, 92, of Bradenton, died Oct. 13, 2002, at home.
A memorial Mass of Christian Burial is at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, 248 S. Harbor Drive, Holmes Beach, with Pastor Bernard Evanofski officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date at Resurrection Cemetery in Chicago. Shannon Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Born in Chicago, Mrs. Pawlik came to Manatee County from Tampa in 1960. She was the former owner and operator of the Michael Motel and Restaurant in Palmetto for many years before she sold the business. She was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church, the Ladies Guild and the Catholic Knights of Columbus in Wisconsin.
Survivors include her caregiver and companion, Marie Campbell of Bradenton; and a sister, Victoria Pawlinski of Chicago.

Allene Williams, 88, of Parrish, died Oct. 17, 2002, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center.

Born in Fort Valley, Ga., Mrs. Williams came to Manatee County from Perry, Ga., in 1936. She was a homemaker. She was Baptist.

Born in Somerville, Mass., Mrs. Anderson came to Manatee County from Plymouth, Mass., 25 years ago. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Saints Peter and Paul The Apostles Catholic Church.
Survivors include a son, Robert, of New York City; and two sisters, Kay Hill of Lady Lake, and Helen O'Leary of Needham, Mass.

Margaret Jean "Grit" Martineau, 46, of Bradenton, died Oct. 16, 2002, at Manatee Memorial Hospital.

Born in Ontario, Mrs. Martineau came to Manatee County from Virginia 25 years ago. She retired as a embroiderer for a clothing manufacturer. She was Presbyterian.

Harold J. Cryderman, 78, of Greenbush, Mich., and formerly a winter resident of Bradenton, died Oct. 13, 2002, in Alpena General Hospital in Alpena, Mich.
Mass will be 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Anne Catholic Church, Harrisville, Mich., with the Rev. Lawrence Boks officiating. Burial will be in St. Anne Cemetery in Harrisville. Gillies Funeral Home in Harrisville is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Detroit, Mr. Cryderman was a winter resident of Manatee County. He was a sheet metal journeyman. He was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Harrisville. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the American Legion and Sheet Metal Workers Local 292.
Survivors include his wife, Gilda; two daughters, Mary Calhoon of Cheboygan, Mich., and Ann Leasure of Bradenton; a son, John, of Chesapeake, Va.; a sister, Margaret Parrott of Shelby Township, Mich.; a brother, Ray, of Florida; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Born in Warrenville, S.C., Mrs. Williams came to Manatee County from Winter Haven in 1996. She taught kindergarten at Brigham Elementary School in Winter Haven for 33 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Winter Haven for many years and was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Winter Haven. She was a member of garden clubs in Winter Haven and Bradenton.
Survivors include three daughters, Frances S. Rynerson, and Sylvia S. Popham, both of Bradenton, and Sammie L. Kirkland of Pensacola; a sister, Frances Dunston of California; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
