Elizabeth "Betty" Affolter, 71, of Oneco, died Sept. 26, 2002, in Sunbridge Care and Rehab.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday at Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, 720 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton. Service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. James Arthur officiating. Burial will be in Mansion Memorial Park in Ellenton.
Born in Oneco, Mrs. Affolter was a lifelong resident of Manatee County. She was a school bus driver with the Manatee School Board for 25 years. She was Baptist.
Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn Theobald of Bradenton; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Allo A. Anderson, 74, of Bradenton, died Sept. 25, 2002, at home.
Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Christ Episcopal Church, 4030 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton, with the Rev. Dennis Kezar officiating. There will be no visitation. Born in Dayton, Ohio, Mr. Anderson came to Manatee County in 1970 from Nashville, Tenn. He served in the U.S. Navy in World War II and the Korean War. He was a science teacher at Manatee High School from 1970 to 1973 and a marine biology teacher at Bayshore High School from 1974 to 1988. He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church. He was a member of the Thomas J. Shryock Lodge 223, the Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of Hollywood, Md., and the Al Menah Temple of Nashville, Tenn. He was a volunteer at Manatee Memorial Hospital and Mote Marine Laboratory.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce, a son, Dr. Mark Allo, of Marquette, Mich.; and a sister, Mary Elizabeth Kentner of Lanark, Ill.
Rodney V. Dore, Sarasota
Rodney V. Dore, 89, of Sarasota and formerly of Bradenton, died Sept. 27, 2002.

Born in Keyport, N.J., Mr. Dore came to Bradenton from Pittsburgh 24 years ago. He was a partner in Newland and Associates and a former owner of the Golden Beach Resort on Longboat Key. He was a member of Kirkwood Presbyterian Church and the Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include a daughter, Marilyn Kilrain of Holland, Pa.; two sons, Rodney G., of West Palm Beach and Jeffrey S., of Nokomis; a sister, Pauline Fisher of St. Petersburg; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Susan Wolfe Fuller, 57, of Holmes Beach, died Sept. 26, 2002, in Bradenton.

Born in Dayton, Ohio, Mrs. Fuller came to Manatee County in 2000 from Minnetonka, Minn. She was a buyer for the retail clothing industry. She was Protestant. She was a member of the National Equestrian Federation of the United States.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas; three daughters, Wendy, of Phoenix, Cindy, of Rochester, N.Y., and Lisa Miller of Apex, N.C.; one brother, John L. Wolfe of Kettering, Ohio; her mother, Joan G. Wolfe; and two grandchildren.

Pauline M. Johnson, 85, of Bradenton, died Sept. 27, 2002, at Westminster Asbury Towers.

Born in Wheeling, W.Va., Mrs. Johnson came to Manatee County in 1984 from Fort Lauderdale. She was Methodist. She worked as a private duty nurse.
Survivors include her husband, James W. "Jim"; two daughters, Sharon Annis of Holmes Beach and Vonnie Bozas of Jupiter; one son, James W. Jr., of Osprey; one brother, Paul Feick of Parkersburg, W.Va.; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

William Francis O'Brien, 75, of Bradenton, died Sept. 27, 2002, at home.

Born in Boston, Mr. O'Brien came to Manatee County in 1981 from Chatham, Mass. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean War and served in the Seabees as a petty officer first class builder during the Vietnam War. He was a retired carpenter from Buzzard's Bay in Massachusetts. He was a member of the American Legion in Chatham and the Harbour Lights, Tampa Chapter.
Survivors include two daughters, Priscilla O. Kukoda of Bradenton and Penny Ruddock of Chatham; two sons, Phillip, of Dennisport, Mass., and Patrick S., of Rincon, Ga.; a sister, Shirley Sevra of Boston; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Jane Rothfuss, 95, of Geneva and formerly of Bradenton, died Sept. 26, 2002.
A viewing will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church of Geneva. Memorial services will immediately follow with Pastor Daryl Permenter and Chaplin Tom McRee officiating. Harry Shock, 80, of Bradenton, died Sept. 26, 2002, at home.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home, 515 East 53rd St., Anderson, Ind. Services will immediately follow with Pastor Ed Wilkinson officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Walk Cemetery in Anderson. Arrangements are by Griffith-Cline Funeral Home's Manatee Avenue Chapel.
Born in Anderson, Mr. Shock served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked at Delco Remy before retiring in 1974 after 30 years.
Survivors include his daughter, Janice Case of Anderson; a son, David Suchocki of Pendleton, Ind.; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Born in Bradenton, Mr. Albritton moved back to Manatee County from Port Huron, Mich., in 1980. He was a retired night manager at Hyatt House of Sarasota. He was a member of St. Martha's Catholic Church in Sarasota.
Survivors include four aunts, Mary Jane, Daisy Tharpe and Mable Altman, all of Bradenton, and Rosa Mae Miller of Old Miakka; and two uncles, Albert and S.T., both of Camden, S.C..

Survivors include her husband, Chester M.; a daughter, Pam McWilliams of Plano, Texas; a son, Chester M., of Doylestown, Pa.; a brother, William F. Spengler of Long Lake, N.Y.; and seven grandchildren.

Harold A. Bruck, 69, of Bradenton, died Sept. 26, 2002, in Sarasota Memorial Hospital.

Born in Cleveland, Mr. Bruck came to Manatee County from Boca Raton in 1994. He retired as a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army in 1978. He was Roman Catholic. He was a member of Elks Club in Sarasota and was a past exalted ruler of the Elks Club in El Paso, Texas. He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam and Korea.
Survivors include his wife, Janet; a daughter, Joyce Schnurr of Fort Lauderdale; two sons, James and Michael, both of Dallas; a brother, Richard, of Naperville, Ind.; and three granddaughters.
