Born in Bloomington, Ind., Mr. Shotts came to Manatee County from Indianapolis, Ind., 10 years ago. He was a supervisor for Western Electric. He was a member of Pioneers of America.
Survivors include his wife, Dorthea; a daughter, DeeDee Willabee of Indianapolis; two sons, Steve and Ronald, both of Indianapolis; three sisters ; a brother, Orville of Pompano Beach; and four grandchildren.

Born in Columbus, Ohio, Ms. Guilkey came to Manatee County from Athens, Ohio, in 1992. She was a secretary and the owner of her own business called "Your Secretary" in Bradenton. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Bradenton. She was past president of the Ohio Club of Colony Cove in Ellenton.
Survivors include two daughters, Stephanie Pratt and Evelyn Schuren; a stepdaughter, Suzanne; a stepson, Douglas; a grandchild; and a great-grandchild.

Born in Bloomington, Ind., Mrs. Jeffries came to Manatee County from Indianapolis in 1951. She was a homemaker. She was Methodist. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star for 25 years, and secretary of the Residence Council at Freedom Village, where she was known as "The Pillow Lady."
Survivors include two daughters, Dolores Mahan of Palmetto, and Phyllis Mattox of Avon Park; a son, Robert Lippeatt of Bradenton; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Born in Covington, Ky., Mr. Rouse was a former resident of Manatee County. He was supervisor of social studies education for the Volusia County School Board for 15 years. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves. He was past president of the Florida Council for Social Studies, and a member of the Volusia County Chapter of the United Nations Association.
Survivors include three daughters, Charron L. Mundy and Christine, both of Tampa, and Summer, of Ormond Beach; and a sister, Judy Phelps of Bradenton.

He attended Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church in Sarasota and was a member of Saint Mary's Catholic Church in Hartsville. He was a member of the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus Council No. 8123 in Hartsville since 1982.
Survivors include his wife, Florence; a daughter, Andrea Spafford of Bradenton; a sister; two brothers; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
