Fred A. Blair, 76, of Bradenton, died June 3, 2001, at Manatee Memorial Hospital.
Memorial services will be 6:30 p.m. Friday at The Open Bible Tabernacle, 1612 32nd Ave. E., with the Rev. Richard Kirby officiating. Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, Manasota chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Providence, R.I., Mr. Blair came to Manatee County from New Hampshire in 1980. He was a retired freight transportation driver. He was a member of The Open Bible Tabernacle, Samoset. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Rosemarie; two sons, Fred A. Jr., of Linwood, N.C., and Ronald P., of Bradenton; a brother, Norman Jimmy of Lakeland; and several grandchildren.

Jacqueline R. Eicher, 72, of Bradenton, died June 4, 2001, at home.

Born in Sioux City, Iowa, Mrs. Eicher came to Manatee County from Gig Harbor, Wash., 20 years ago. She was a homemaker. She was Lutheran.
Survivors include three daughters, Maureen Ovallie and Jennifer McNulty, both of Bradenton, and Karen Paola of Solvang, Calif.; three sons, Andy and Jeff Konopisos, both of Gig Harbor, and Garrick McNulty of Bradenton; and five grandchildren.

Marie Gillespie, 95, of Bradenton, died June 1, 2001, in Palmetto Guest Home.
There will be no services. Ellenton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Born in New York, Mrs. Gillespie came to Manatee County from Ridgewood, N.J., 35 years ago. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include one niece, Marie Melvin of West Chester, Pa.; and two nephews, Thomas Keil of Newton Square, Pa., and Robert Keil of Centerville, Ohio.

Bradenton Beach, died May 26, 2001.
Burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Manasota Memorial Park. Westminster Memorial Park, Calif., is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Manatee County, Mr. Hicks was a lifelong resident resident of Manatee County. He was a sales manager for a wholesale food company in Cocoa Beach and Bradenton. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. He was a 32nd degree Mason.
He is survived by a daughter, Julie Edwards of Alexandria, Va.; two sons, Paul, of Costa Mesa, Calif., and Mike, of Alexandria; and three grandchildren.

Veora K. Lee, 94, of Jacksonville and formerly of Bradenton, died May 15, 2001, in Jacksoville.
Memorial services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Skyway Memorial Gardens. Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 1426 Rowe Ave., Jacksonville, is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
Mrs. Lee moved to Bradenton from Vermont when she was 16. She was a life member of the Jacksonville Garden Club.
She is survived by her daughter, Katherine Lee Herbert of Woodstock, Ga.; a son, Donald K., of Jacksonville; a sister, Hilda Neff Felts of Bradenton; and three grandchildren.

Betty Alice Mahaffey, 77, of Bradenton, died June 4, 2001, in Casa Mora Rehab and Extended Care.

Born in Pittsburgh, Ms. Mahaffey came to Manatee County from there in 1987. She was a homemaker.

Born in LaBelle, Mr. Rimes came to Manatee County in 1983. He was a former drywall hanger. He attended First Baptist Church of Palmetto.
Survivors include a daughter, Catherine Ridenour of Palmetto; a son, Morris E., of Jasper; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Born in Groveland, N.Y., Mrs. Stanhope came to Manatee County from Woodstock, N.Y., in 1995. She retired as supervisor of housekeeping at Craig Colony in New York. She owned Especially for You flower shop, Woodstock. She was a member of Palm View Bible Church, Palmetto.
Survivors include her husband, Gordon; two daughters, Suzan Pagan of Gulfport, N.Y., and Darlene Gesler of Nunda, N.Y.; a sister, Eleanor Register of Dansville, N.Y.; two half-sisters, Virginia Chesbro and Leona Ashton, both of Rochester, N.Y.; a brother, Orville Burger of Groveland, N.Y.; and a grandchild.
