There will be no service. Toale Brothers Funeral Home, Bradenton chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Solvay, N.Y., Mrs. Watmough came to Manatee County from Herkimer, N.Y., in 1973. She was a retired schoolteacher. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star, Chapter 185, Herkimer, and a member of the Retired Teachers Association, Herkimer.
Survivors include three sisters, Pearl Peterson, Grace Elmer and Sally Tomi, all of Bradenton.
Virginia C. Benes

Virginia C. Benes, 90, of Bradenton, died June 5, 2001, in Manatee Memorial Hospital.
Service will be 3:15 p.m. Saturday at Westminister Asbury Woods, 5700 24th St. E. Bellevue-Cedar Hill Funeral Home, Daytona Beach, is in charge of arrangements.
Born in New Rochelle, N.Y., Mrs. Benes came to Manatee County from Port Orange in 1991. She was a homemaker. She was a life-member of Stellar Chapter 55, Order of Eastern Star, Danbury, Conn., a charter member of Port Orange United Church and Congregational United Church of Christ, Bradenton.
Survivors include two daughters, Gloria Ruhlmann of Bradenton, and Dianne Lincoln of New Milford, Conn.; one son, George Mauss of Manning, S.C.; one brother, William Raith of Dallas; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
David Allen Boyette

David Allen Boyette, 43, of Myakka, died June 5, 2001, in Bradenton.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Manatee Baptist Church, 1501 Seventh Ave. E., with the Rev. Ben Eason officiating. Bradenton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the David Allen Boyette Sr. Memorial Fund at any First Union National bank.
Born in Bradenton, Mr. Boyette was a lifelong resident of Manatee County. He was the owner of Boyettes Cork and Kettle Restaurant for 10 years and a supervisor for a construction company. He was Baptist. He was a Girl Scout Honi Hanta Camp Ranger and a member of Florida Sheriff's Association.
Survivors include his wife, Kathleen; two daughters, Deby Mascolino of Sarasota and Renee, of Myakka; one son, David Allen II, of Myakka; his father, Delma, of Bradenton; five sisters, Mae Woodward of Camilia, Ga., Joyce Horton and Deborah Larowe, both of Bradenton, Linda Winchester of Palmetto, and Carol Miranda of Sarasota; one brother, Raymond, of Bradenton; and one grandchild.
Harry F. Dean

Harry F. Dean, 96, of Sarasota (Manatee County), died June 6, 2001, in Sarasota Memorial Hospital, Sarasota.
There will be no service. Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, Manasota chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Chicago, Mr. Dean came to Manatee County from Arlington, Va., in 1956. He was a professional engineer at the Pentagon, Washington, D.C. He attended Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church, Sarasota. He was a member of Sara Bay Country Club.
Survivors include his goddaughters, Cynthia and Samantha Wiley, both of Sarasota.

Donald Anthony Haley, 74, of Bradenton, died June 7, 2001, in Blake Medical Center.

Born in Fairmont, W. Va., Mr. Haley came to Manatee County from there in 1989. He retired as president of West Virginia Electric Corp., Fairmont. He was a member of Saints Peter and Paul the Apostles Catholic Church. He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge, Fairmont, Rotary Club, Fairmont and a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers.
Survivors include his wife, Anita Marie; one daughter, Maureen Ann, of Atlanta; five sons, Donald Michael, and Richard James, both of Fairmont, Daniel Thomas, of Chesapeake, Va., Timothy David, of Mt. Pleasant, N.C., and Robert Patrick, of Monroeville, Pa.; one sister, Evelyn Donoghue of Bethesda, Md.; and 10 grandchildren.

Mildred E. Knoechel, 80, of Holmes Beach, died June 7, 2001, at home.

Born in Bielefeld, Germany, Mrs. Knoechel came to Manatee County from Port Sanelac, Mich., in 1990. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Erich W.; and one sister, Gertrud Neffgen of Wuerzburg, Germany.

Nelson Linn, 84, of Ellenton, formerly of Sarasota, died June 6, 2001, in Mariner Health of Palmetto.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at Griffith-Cline Funeral Home, 1221 53rd Ave. E. Service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at The Tabernacle, 4141 DeSoto Road, Sarasota, with Pastor Neville Gritt officiating. Burial will be in Mansion Memorial Park, Ellenton. Born in Canton, Ohio, Mr. Linn came to Manatee County from Ohio in 1979. He was a Realtor. He attended The Tabernacle. He served with the U.S. Army Air Corps as a flight officer during World War II.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.

William O. Schwarz

William O. Schwarz, 83, of Cadillac, Mich., formerly of Manatee County, died June 6, 2001.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. today at Hitesman Funeral Home, Cadillac. Service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Pastor Donald Swab officiating. Born in Leland, Mr. Schwarz resided in Manatee County for 10 years before returning to Michigan in the late 1990s. He was an executive for Michigan Department of Natural Resources. He served with the U.S. Navy, Specialist First Class, 1943-46. He was president of the Cadillac Chapter of American Association of Retired Persons. He was a member of Moose Lodge, Marion's Men's Club, president of the Michigan Employee State Association and a counselor for the Boy Scouts.
Survivors include his wife, Charlene; one daughter, Tracy Scott of Leland; one son, Tom, of Cadillac; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Audrey Inez Stover, 81, of Bradenton, died June 4, 2001, at home.

Born in Des Moines, Iowa, Mrs. Stover came to Manatee County from Langley Air Force Base, Va., 28 years ago. She was a homemaker and formerly worked as a registered nurse. She attended Palma Sola Presbyterian Church. She was a member of the Circle Three Club and a Holy Duster at the church. She was a member of Bradenton Yacht Club. She was past president of the Galley Maids at the yacht club. She was a member of the Air Force Wives Club, the American X-POW Association, Manasota chapter and was a volunteer with Manatee Memorial Hospital Auxiliary for over 20 years.
Survivors include her husband, Col. Lawrence Paul Sr.; two daughters, Diane Lewis of Silver, N.M., and Jane Beasley of Bradenton; one son, Lawrence Paul Jr., of Marathon; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
