Barbara P. Teller, 52, of Palm Harbor, formerly of Bradenton, died June 10, 2001, at home.

Born in Rawlins, Wyo., Mrs. Teller came to Manatee County from there in 1950. She was an elementary school teacher at Highland Lakes Elementary School in Palm Harbor. She attended Palm Harbor United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, James D.; a daughter, Heather, of Palm Harbor; a son, Christopher, of Palm Harbor; a sister, Ione Butler of Ocala; and a brother, Edward Plummer of Riverside, Calif.
Muriel Verhaeghe

Muriel Verhaeghe, 73, of Ellenton, died June 11, 2001, in Mariner Health of Palmetto.
There will be no service. Ellenton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Born in Chicago, Mrs. Verhaeghe came to Manatee County from there 31 years ago. She was the owner and operator of a beauty shop.
Survivors include her husband, Richard L.; a daughter, Irene Schuster of Richtion Park, Ill.; a son, John, of Eagan, Minn.; and two grandchildren.

Margaret Mary Bennett, 86, of Cortez, died June 12, 2001, in Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation.
All services and burial will be in Greencastle, Ind. at Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2to 4 p.m. today at Brown and Sons Funeral Homes 43rd Street Chapel, 604 43rd St. W., Bradenton. Brown and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions can be made to Manasota Lighthouse for the Blind, 7318 N. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, Fla. 34243.
Born in Greencastle, Mrs. Bennett came to Manatee County in 1972. She was a homemaker, member of the Cortez Fire Department Auxiliary for eight years, a member of Women of the Moose and a poll worker for the Manatee County Elections Office.
Survivors include her husband, James Sr.; two daughters, Dessa Shinn of West Lafayette, Ind., and Connie Bridges of Cloverdale, Ind.; three sons, Thomas and Timothy, both of Greencastle, Ind., and James Jr., of Alliance, Neb.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Hazel Bennett, 92, of Bradenton, died June 11, 2001, in Beverly Health Care.
There will be no visitation. Services will be held in Bohemia, N.Y. Brown and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be at the Pine Lawn Memorial Garden in Farmingdale, N.Y.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Mrs. Bennett came to Manatee County from Lake Ron Kon Koma in Long Island, N.Y., in 1991. She was Methodist and a homemaker.
Survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth F. Abrams; and several nieces and nephews.
Everett R. Dyer

Everett R. Dyer, 72, of Bradenton, died June 9, 2001, at home.

Born in Rensselaer, N.Y., Mr. Dyer moved to Manatee County from Albany, N.Y., in 2000. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corp during World War II and was a member of the American Legion in Albany.
Survivors include a daughter, Denise Hawke of Bradenton; three sisters, Fran Hotaling of Nasseau, N.Y., and Adria Praga and Beulah Moshier of Colonie, N.Y.; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

May Cooper, 84, of Holmes Beach, died June 11, 2001 at Florida Hospital Waterman in Eustis.
There will be no visitation or services. The National Cremation Society in Fruitland Park, is in charge of cremation arrangements.
Born in Canton, Mass., Mrs. Cooper came to Manatee County in 1968. She was a Realtor. She was a member of Roser Church on Anna Maria Island where she was a volunteer.
Survivors include two daughters, Valerie Cooper of Mount Dora, and Holly Cooper-Roell of Kemah, Texas.
Robert "Bob" Bowker

Robert "Bob" Bowker, 48, of Bradenton, died June 11, 2001 in Manatee Memorial Hospital.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Palmetto Seventh Day Adventist Church, 3307 10th St. W., Palmetto. Brown and Sons Funeral Home 26th Street Chapel is in charge of arrangements. Pastor Norman Bassett will officiate.

Born in Endicott, N.Y., Mr. Bowker moved to Manatee County from Binghamton, N.Y., in 1978. He was a tow truck driver for Steve White Mobil Station in Palmetto.
Survivors include three sisters, Joanne Marshall of Lisle, N.Y., Marilyn Simon of Endicott, Maria Wright of Sarasota; two brothers, Gary Bowker and James Grow of Bradenton; and mother, Geraldine M. Grow of Bradenton.

Dorothy Elaine Mathews Orberg, 79, of Bradenton, died June 11, 2001 in Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg, S.C.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the and funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg. Pastors John Orberg, Sandlip Lal and the Rev. Lindsey Inman will be officiating. Burial will be at the Good Shepherd Mausoleum at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Orangeburg.
Mrs. Orberg was born in Lancaster, Pa.
Survivors include her husband, Robert "Bob" Elliott Orberg, Sr.; two sons, Robert Orberg of San Diego, John Orberg of McClenney; two daughters, Susan Laber of Orangeburg, and Jan Newton of Nine Mile Falls, Wash.; three sisters, June Buchanan of Tampa, Ruth Adkins of Sarasota, Marilyn Johnson of Palmetto; a brother, William Mathews of Bradenton; 17 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
