Barbara Jean Singleton, age 65, of Okeechobee, died Wednesday, April 28, 2004, at Raulerson Hospital. Born May 4, 1938, in Columbus, Ohio, Ms. Singleton had been a resident of Okeechobee for seven years. She was a member of the Audubon Society and the Fort Drum Community Church.
Survivors include: two sons, Daniel Albury of Lake City and Fred Albury of Oakhill, W.Va.; two daughters, Deanna Albury of Oakhill, W.Va. and Bonny Jo Singleton of Hermitage, Tenn.; two grandchildren, Aaron Albury and Jasmine Albury; mother, Eileen Dulom; brother, Donald Dulom, both of Port St. Lucie; companion of 16-years, Jose Dominguez of Okeechobee; and, dogs, Ghosty and Sweet Pea.
There will be no visitation or services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Okeechobee Senior Services, c/o Janet McKenna, 1019 S.W. Park St. Okeechobee, Fla. 34974.

Harry A. Tewksbury
Harry A. Tewksbury, age 68, of Maynard, Ark., died Tuesday, April 27, 2004, at his residence. Mr. Tewksbury was born Dec. 23, 1935 at Windsor, Vt. He worked for many years as a power lineman in Vermont, a construction and maintenance worker for General Telephone Company in Middletown, N.Y. His hobby was restoring cars and renovating his property.
Mr. Tewksbury was preceded in death by his father, Roland Tewskbury; one son, Dwayne Tewskbury; and, one daughter, Ann Bloom.
Survivors include: his wife, Ronwyn 'Ronnie' Tewksbury of Maynard, Ark.; his mother, Regis Pinney Tewksbury of Okeechobee; one sister, Rachel Hayes of Okeechobee; three daughters, Susan Hollingsworth of Reading, Pa., Cheryl Smith and Kellie Sims, both of Okeechobee; two sons, Ricky Tewksbury of North Carolina and Harry Tewskbury, Jr. of Okeechobee; three step-daughters, Cheryl Ann Davenport of Lake City, Marni Hughes of Richlands, N.C. and Donna Stevens of Okeechobee; one step-son, Ronald Ballo of Richlands, N.C.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
There will be no services, interment will be at a later date in Randolph, Vt.
Local arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Waymon Funeral Home of Pocahontas, Ark.
David Thompkins
David Thompkins, age 59, of Okeechobee, died Sunday, April 25, 2004, at Cape Canaveral Hospital. Mr. Thompkins' life began in Detroit, Mich. His family moved to Cocoa in early 1954 and started the Rev-Cut Mower Company. Growing up on Cape Canaveral, Mr. Thompson enjoyed sailing, surfing and was a champion go-cart racer. He served honorably in the Marine Corps, living and working elsewhere before returning to Cocoa to help out with the family business, ultimately heading up Central Florida Engine Company in Orlando. In 1980, he married Shirley (Franklin) Thompkins and together they raised two children, daughter, Kimberly Tompkins and son, Timothy. Mr. Thompkins was a gentle and supportive father who built a strong relationship with his children. He was always able to see the bright side of life and was a wise and witty man.
Survivors include: daughter, Kimberly (Doug) DeAngelis of Ipswich, Mass.; his son, Timothy Tompkins of Tucson, Ariz.; his mother, Kathryn Tompkins, now married to Doctor Judson Martin; and, brother, Dale (Gina) Tompkins, all of Merritt Island.
In honor of his service to his country, Mr. Thompson will have a military funeral at Bushnell.
A wake will be held at The Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City at 12:30 Wednesday, April 28.

Bruce Pelham
Bruce Pelham, 63, of Okeechobee died Saturday, April 17, 2004, at Hospice of the Treasure Coast in Fort Pierce.
Mr. Pelham was born Jan. 10, 1941, in Cairo, Ga., to Wade and Ethel
Pelham. He moved to Okeechobee from Miami 20 years ago.
Before retiring, Mr. Pelham was a carpenter in new building construction. He enjoyed fishing and traveling.
Survivors include: his daughter, Candice of Miami; his brother, Ralph Pelham of Okeechobee; his companion lvy Conway of Okeechobee; and, several nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Treasure Coast, Inc., at 805 Virginia Ave., Suite l, Fort Pierce, FL 34982.
No services will be held.

Carleton Jacob Sohl
Carleton Jacob Sohl, 68, of Okeechobee, died Thursday, April 22, 2004, at the Okeechobee Health Care Facility.
Born April 22, 1936, in Mansfield, Ohio, Mr. Sohl had been a resident of Okeechobee for eight years. He was an electrician journeyman by trade and enjoyed camping, traveling, tinkering and building things.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Laurel Tusken
Survivors include: his beloved wife of 46 years, Leanna K. Sohl of Okeechobee; two daughters, Janette (Chris) Rucker of Baltimore, Ohio, and Jennifer (Bob) Klatt of Clintonville, Ohio; six grandchildren; sister, Helen Vrabel of Mansfield, Ohio; and son-in-law Matt Tusken of Kansas City, Kans.
There will be no visitation or services.

Molly Elizabeth Tranum
Molly Elizabeth Tranum, 19, of Cape Girardeau, Mo., formally of Buckhead Ridge, died Sunday, April 4, 2004, at her father's home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Jan. 21, 1985, in Cape Girardeau, the daughter of Linda and Bill Shank of Buckhead Ridge and David and Sandy Donley of Cape Girardeau.
She was a 2003 honors graduate from Okeechobee High School. She was a member of Cape First Christian Church and made honorary member of the School of Leaders. She attended Southeast Missouri University and for a short time worked for Chateau Girardeau nursing home.
Ms. Tranum was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Geraldene Lix.
Survivors include: her mother and father, Linda and Bill Shank of Buckhead Ridge; father and mother, David and Sandy Donley of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Jessica Tranum Joles, Glenda and Christina Shank of Okeechobee; stepsister Tammy Silvey and stepbrother Chris Wheeler, both of Cape Girardeau; one niece, Haley Joles; three nephews, Christopher Joles II and Derrick and Austin Wheeler; maternal grandfather Willard Lix of Buckhead Ridge; paternal grandparents Pat and Olus Shank of Mansfield, Ohio; and, James and Fern Donley of Calm, Mo.
Interment was at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau, next to her grandmother.
Robert Kennedy Kelso
Robert Kennedy Kelso, age 82, of Okeechobee, died Wednesday, April 14, 2004, at Raulerson Hospital. Born Nov. 9, 1921, in Ardmore, Pa., Mr. Kelso had been a resident of Okeechobee for four years. A proud WWII Veteran, he served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion. He was of the United Methodist Faith.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Samuel and Boyd.
Survivors include: his beloved wife of four years, Annemay Kelso of Okeechobee; son, Robert (Tania) Kelso of Miami; daughters, Loretta (Charly) McDonald of Jupiter and Jane (Jim) Wagner of Downingtown, Pa.; grandchildren, Charles (Lorie) McDonald, James Wagner and Shawn Wagner; great-granddaughter, Madelyn Quinn McDonald; stepchildren, Gail Anne, Renee and George; several nieces and nephews; and the mother of his children, Loretta Kelso; his brother, David (Josie) Kelso of Newtown Square, Pa.; and sisters, Henrietta (Guy) Moulton of Sunset Beach, N.C., Maud Garrison of Lititz, Pa., Beth Marin of Waldport, Ore. and May (Andy) Kean of Houston, Texas; and, a host of close friends.
There will be a memorial service at a later date.

Jacqueline Jones
Jacqueline Jones, age 66, of Okeechobee, died Monday, April 12, 2004, at Raulerson Hospital. Mrs. Jones was born Oct. 10, 1937, in Kentucky, to Orville and Pearl Caudill. She and her husband, Ralph Jones, were married for 48 years.
They were winter residents since 1995 from Frankton, Ind.
Survivors include: her husband, Ralph M. Jones; two sons, Alan Jones of Alexandria, Ind. and Brian Jones of Greenfield, Ind.; two daughters, Rene Gentry of Anderson, Ind. and Kelly Jones of Frankton, Ind.; six grandchildren; and, one great-grandchild.
Internment in Purdue Cemetery Windy, Ky.
