Theodore M. Carlson
Theodore M. Carlson, age 101, of Okeechobee, died Saturday, April 10, 2004, at Raulerson Hospital. He was born Dec. 6, 1902, in Bridgewater, Conn., and had owned and operated a landscape/nursery business.
He was preceded in death by: his son, Dale Carlson; and, daughter, Donna Conrad.
Survivors include: his devoted wife of 78 years, Edna Mary Carlson of Okeechobee; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and, two great-great grandchildren.
There will be no visitation or services.
All arrangements are under the direction and care of the Buxton Funeral Home and Crematory.
Deloris A. Walls
Deloris A. Walls, age 55, of Okeechobee, died Monday, April 12, 2004, at her residence. Born Feb. 10, 1949, in Castlewood, Va., Mrs. Walls had been a resident of Okeechobee since 1984. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include: her beloved husband of 10 years, Bill H. Walls of Okeechobee; one son, Arron (Sylvia) Chaffin of Maine; one daughter, Deana (Todd) Bondrak of Jacksonville; mother, Madeleine McGee of Jacksonville; and, two brothers, John Harrison of Michigan and Joe (Nina) Harrison of Virginia.
Funeral services will be in Lebanon, Va., under the direction of Owens Funeral Home. Interment will be in Maxfield Family Cemetery in Honaker, Va.
All arrangements are under the direction and care of the Buxton Funeral Home and Crematory.
Esther Eilene Coleman
Esther Eilene Coleman, age 63, of Okeechobee died Thursday, April 8, 2004, at Raulerson Hospital. Ms. Coleman was born May 31, 1940, in Little Washington, Pa. to James Underwood and Lillian Pastor. Mrs. Coleman was a Reservationist for Delta Airlines.
Survived include: her husband, Escar Coleman; daughter, Danielle Coleman: son, Charles B. Coleman; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild all of Okeechobee.
Visitation will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 10, at Bass Okeechobee Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 1O, at 3 p.m. at Bass Okeechobee Funeral Chapel with Pastor John Keith officiating.
All arrangements are under the direction of Bass Okeechobee Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
Charlene Marie Mills
Charlene Marie Mills, age 59, of Okeechobee, died Thursday, April 8, 2004, at Northridge Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale. Born Nov. 23, l944, in San Diego, Calif., Mrs. Mills had been a resident of Okeechobee since 1971.
She was preceded in death by her husband Troy Mills.
Survivors include her son, Jimmy (Melissa) Mills and grandsons, Jarrett and Jayden Mills, a11 of Okeechobee.
There will be no visitation or services.

Lester C. McAulay
Lester C. McAulay, age 85, of Lakeport, died Thursday, April 1, 2004, at his residence. He was born July 6, 1918, in Sarasota, where he grew up and lived before moving to Lakeport in September of 1990. He graduated from Sarasota High School and worked as a carpenter for E.E. Simmons Builders in Sarasota until he retired in 1983. He was an avid fisherman and loved fishing on Lake Okeechobee. He was of the Presbyterian Faith.
Survivors include: his beloved wife of 49 years, Rachel E. McAulay of Lakeport; and several nieces and nephews.
There will he no visitation.
Memorial services and inurnment of cremains will be at Sarasota Memorial Park on Saturday, March 10, at 2 p.m. with Chaplain Robert Moore of Hope Hospice, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice, 9470 Healthpark Circle, Fort Myers, Fl. 33908.

Marilyn Kay Cook
Marilyn Kay Cook, age 64, of Okeechobee died Thursday, April 8, 2004, at Glades Health Care Center in Pahokee. Mrs. Cook was born May 12, 1939, in Grand Rapids, Mich. to Ollie and Verna Wienand.
She was a homemaker who came to Okeechobee from Lake Worth in 1972.
Mrs. Cook married Gary Lee Cook in 1998.
She is survived by: her husband, Gary Lee Cook; two daughters, Michelle King of Okeechobee and Georgina (Allen) Thompson of Okeechobee; two sons Steven King of Okeechobee and James King of Daytona; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and mother and father-in-law Billie and King Rivera of Okeechobee.
No visitation or services will be held.
