Lanouette, Lehoma Bercaw, 85, of Leesburg, passed away Sunday, Jan. 7, 2007 at Leesburg Regional Medical Center. She was born May 3, 1921 in Nichols, FL, to John Smith and Gertrude Stewart. She worked in the Hillsborough County School System for 29 years, retired as the Lunch Room Manager at Robles Elementary School, and was an active member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post # 8083 in Bellview. She was a very loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother. She is survived by her husband: Robert L. “Bob” Lanouette, Leesburg; 3 children: Carol Ann McKnight, Green River, WY, William Malcolm Bercaw, Tampa, Shirley F. Tervort, Ridge Manor; 1 sister: Rhonda Frank, Inverness; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son: Cecil Merritt Bercaw, and 2 sisters. A memorial service will be held 2pm Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2007 at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City with Pastor Mike McKnight officiating.
Lucille E. Kinkade
Kinkade, Lucille E., 83, of Zephyhrhills, passed away Sunday, January 07, 2007, at her home. She was born May 13, 1923 in Bristol, Tennessee the daughter of William and Edith Smith. She was active in the churches her husband, Rev. Preslie Kinkade pastored. She loved to do hand crafts and taught others. She was a very loving, giving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1999. She is survived by her daughters: Anita Kinkade of Zephyrhills and Loretta and her husband, Dr. Andrew Scoma of Winter Park, FL; sister, Anna Mae Fairchild of Port Richey; grandchildren: Russ and wife, Hyon A Kinnell and Laura Kinnell; great grandchildren: John Kinnell and Sara Kinnell; many nieces and nephews and many friends. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, January 10 at Hodges Family Funeral Home, Hwy 301 Chapel, Dade City with burial to follow at Chapel Hill Gardens. Visitation will be held 5 to 7 p.m., Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Hernando Pasco Hospice, Dade City.
James Robert Denny
DENNEY, James Robert "Jim," 73, of Dade City, Fla., died January 6, 2007, at home. He was born October 19, 1933, in Lacoochee, Fla. He was a milk distributor for Seal Test/T.G. Lee for 40 years and was a U.S. Navy veteran in the Korean War. He loved fishing and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dade City, Fla. Jim was preceded in death by parents, Charles and Bessie; brothers, Harold and W.O.; granddaughter, Jennifer Odom. Survivors include his loving wife of 49 years, Margie; sons, Steve and his wife, Mae, and Duane; daughters, Renee Converse and her husband, Clark, Mary Beth Lambert and
her husband, Gene; brother, Donald Ray Denney; sisters, Dorothy Wooten and her husband, James, Janice Patterson and her husband, D.L.; grandchildren, Chris and Lori Johnsor), Jessica Converse, Elise and Eli Lambert, Bret, Jake and Shelbie Denney. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday January 8, 2007, and a visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Sunday, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., all at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Dade City, Fla., with burial to follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Vivian W. Woodward Gant
GANT, Vivian Wilkloson Woodard, 89, passed peacefully from this life Thursday, January 4, 2007, at her home in New Port Richey, Fla. She was preceded in spirit by her mother, Annie Council Branch; her father, Johnnie Wilkinson; her stepfather, Henry Woodard; her husband, Roy; her daughter. Karon Gant Simpson; her sister, Gwen Cordle; her sister-in-law, Corrine Woodard; and her nephew, Woody Woodard. Vivian is survived by her daughter, Pamela Chesnut of New Port Richey, Fla.; her grandson, Brad Simpson and his wife, Tricia; her granddaughter, Lori Jackson and her husband, David; two great-granddaughters, Ashley Foster and Nicole Simpson; and one great-grandson, Jesse Simpson. She is also survived by her brothers, H. Y. Woodard and his wife, Dottie, and Bill Wilkinson and his wife, Shirley; two sisters, Mollie Wilkinson Beecham and Connie Hayes and her husband, Paul; two nephews, Clay Woodard and Pat Woodard; and her brother-in law, Gary Cordle. Vivian also leaves behind numerous cousins living in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina, with whom she lovingly shared her Iife. Vivian was given by God to us on June 15, 1917, and at the age of 20 she met and, after a two week courtship, married Roy, her husband of 50 years, in Webster, Fla. They soon moved to and made Dade City their home, where after 10 years of marriage she had her first daughter, Pamella. Two and one-half years later, a second daughter, Karon, was born. There has never been nor never will be a more unselfish, giving and loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend than Vivian. Her life has been devoted to her family and those close to her who she loved, and who loved her, She set the example throughout her life and in death of what a true Christian woman and Lady of the South represents. Vivian has been and will always be remembered as one of God's most precious and beautiful angels. She has been and will forever be an inspiration to all who knew and loved her. She will be so missed but never forgotten and ever loved by those she leaves behind. Please send flowers or donations to Hernando-Pasco Hospice. Coder, Edward, 76, died January 3, 2007. He was born in Davenport, Iowa and raised in Rock Island, IL by Frank J. Jungwirth and Hilda E. Collins He met and married Violet E. in Tampa, FL. in 1957. Besides his wife he is survived by 2 children, Billy F. Coder and Diane Handley (Prive’); 3 grandchildren, Christopher E. Valdes, Crystal D. Coder and Juliann V. Jim Karvellas
Karvellas, Jim, 71 years, of Wesley Chapel, passed away Monday, January 1, 2006 at his home. He was born August, 24, 1935 in Chicago the son of Christ and Anthy Karvellas. Jim was a longtime broadcaster for the Baltimore and Washington Bullets and the New York Cosmos soccer team and a former Tampa area sports talk show host. His ties to the Tampa Bay area were twofold. He teamed up with Larry Hirsch for nine months on WWBA, 1040 AM, on the “Play-by-Play Guys” radio show 1999-2000. In 1989 he founded the Celebrity Golf Association- a pro tour for sports stars and entertainers that included Michael Jordan, Mario Lemieux and even Vice President Dan Quayle. Karvellas moved the CGA Tour offices from Fort Lee, N.J., to Tampa in 1996. He is preceded in death by his wife, Lorie in 1997. He is survived by his children: Chris and his wife Lisa Karvellas of Richmond, VA and Jamie Karvellas of Wesley Chapel; his siblings, Becky Russo of Chicago and Peter Karvellas of New Jersey; his grandchildren, Hannah, Naomi, Paul, Aaron and James. A Memorial gathering will be 7 to 9 p.m, Tuesday, Jan. 9, at Heritage Isles Golf and Country Club on Cross Creek Blvd., Tampa.

Page, Gordon R. “Red”, 83, of Dade City, passed away Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006 in Dade City under the care of Hernando-Pasco Hospice. He was born Nov. 24, 1923 in Anson, ME, to Daniel Page and Vera Cooper. He was a retired Electrical Foreman after 43 years with Great Northern Paper Co., was active with North American Family Camping, and past president of Sunshine Raceway in Dade City. He was a US Marine Corp veteran serving in both WW II and the Korean Conflict. He resided in East Millinocket, ME before retiring to Dade City in 1988. He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Riendeau Page; 1 son, Russell Page, Maine; 1 daughter, Pamela Delato, Connecticut; 1 brother and sister-in-law, Ivan & Evelyn Page, New Hampshire; 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; 2 nephews, and numerous cousins. A memorial service will be held 11am Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at St. Mary Episcopal Church with Father Douglas Zimmerman officiating. Inurnment with military honors will take place 1:30pm Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. Elizabeth "Ellie" Adorno Heuring
Elizabeth Adorno Heuring, "Ellie", 51, passed away January 4, 2007. Born in Rio Piedras, PR, formerly of Kingston, NY, and moved to Tampa, FL about seventeen years ago. Resided in Dade City the last twelve years. She was predeceased by her mother, Maria Adorno and her father, German Adorno. Ellie leaves to treasure her memory, her husband, Dennis Heuring, their three children Scott Heuring, David Heuring and Jennifer Buckley, their three grandchildren Hunter, Makenzie and Quinton. Her only surviving aunt Titi Olga Miranda, brother Raymond Adorno, sisters Margaret Garcia & Carmen Adorno, many loving nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, three great-great nephews, cousins, childhood friend Marlene and Will Lawson and many loving friends. Ellie brought alot of joy and laughter to all who knew
her. She'll be greatly missed by all. The family will receive friend from 3 to 4 pm Sunday with a service at 4 pm, Sunday, January 7, 2007 at Hodges Family Funeral Home located at 14046 5th Street, Dade City.
