Gault Chevrolet as an Auto Body Technician. He is survived by his wife: Doris M. Gosart, Dade City, FL; 2 sons: Robert Gosart, New York, Brian Gosart, Texas; 1 sister: Mabel Sukup, Palm Harbor, FL; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by 1 son: George Gosart. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in his memory to Hernando-Pasco Hospice 37445 Clinton Avenue, Dade City, FL 33525.
Charles Manson
Manson, Charles, 76, of Webster, FL, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2006 atHeritage Park Care Center in Dade City. He was born November 10, 1930 in Higby, OH, to John and Sassy Manson, and moved to Webster 17 years ago from Dade City. He worked at Lykes Pasco Packing Company for several years and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He had attended both the Heart Center Church of God and the Christian Fellowship Church. He is survived by 4 daughters: Phyllis J. Fussell, Dade City, FL, Sherry Yvonne Cook, Ohio, Trudy Waits, Dade City, FL, Lauri Manson, Ohio; 3 sons: Charles Manson, John Manson, and Al Manson, all of Ohio; their mother: Shirley Manson, Ohio; 28 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11am Friday, December 15, 2006 at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City with Pastor Mervin Sherlin officiating. Burial will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. Friends may call one hour prior to service time, from 10am to 11am at the funeral home.
Frederick R. Hatfield
Frederick R. Hatfield, 103, from Dade City passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at Gulfside Regioal Hospice. Born April 12, 1903 in Vermonville, Michigan, he was the son of the late Claude and Leila (Sprague)Hatfield. A memorial service may be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Hodges Family Funeral Home, 5221 8th street, Zephyrhills.
James McCarthy
McCarthy, James, 73 of Wesley Chapel, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2006 at his home under the care of Hernando Pasco Hospice. He was born March 15, 1933 in Bronx, NY the son of James and Jamesina McCarthy. He has lived in Wesley Chapel the last 18 years moving from Eltkton, MD. He is survived by his wife of 54 yrs, Elvira; his son James McCarthy (deceased) and his children James and Jamesina McCarthy; his daughter and son-in-law Louise and Robert Townsend and their children, Robert, James, Elvira and Heather Townsend; his son and daughter-in-law, George and Michelle McCarthy and their children, Brenda, Cameron, James and George McCarthy and Kendra Calhoun; and his sister, Jessie Williamson, all of Wesley Chapel. Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Friday, December 15, 2006 at Hodges Family Funeral Home, 36327 State Road 54, Zephyrhills, Florida. Visitation 6 to 9 p.m, Thursday at the funeral home.

Sanchez, Agustin, 88, of Dade City, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2006 underthe care of Hernando-Pasco Hospice. He was born May 18, 1918 in Apaseo El Alto,GTO, Mexico and moved to this area 14 years ago. He worked in the AgricultureIndustry and was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife: Maria Juana Sanchez, Dade City, FL; 4 sons: Rauel Sanchez, Missouri,Jose Sanchez, Dade City, FL, Ruben Sanchez, Dade City, FL, Benjamin Sanchez, Brooksville, FL; 1 daughter: Anriqueta Sanchez, Apaseo El Alto GTO, Mexico; 1 sister: Noberta Sanchez, Apaseo El Alto GTO, Mexico; 35 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 9:30am Thursday, December 14, 2006 at St. Rita Catholic Church with Father Rafael Martos as celebrant. Burial will follow at Dade City Cemetery.
Rose B. Pogue
Pogue, Rose B., 87, of Zephyrhills left this life on December 12, 2006. Mrs. Pogue was born on June 6, 1919 in Gary, Indiana to parents Martin and Barbara Novosel. She moved to Dade City from the Chicago land area in 1973 with her beloved husband James Pogue. Mrs. Pogue was a veteran of the United States Army where she served her country during World War II. In Dade City she was an active supporter of the St. Anthony School Celebrity Waiter Dinner. Mrs. Pogue goes to Heaven to join her husband James, and her brothers Nicholas Novosel and Martin Novosel Jr. She is survived by her nephew Martin Novosel 3rd, nieces; Diane Farris, Jo Novosel, Patricia Ann Novosel, Ruth Ann Probasco, and Rosie Riordan, as well as many grand nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Friday December 15, 2006 at 1:00pm at Hodges Family Funeral Home (11441 U.S. Hwy 301, Dade City). Frank Albert Cross
Cross, Frank Albert, 76, of Zephyrhills Florida died peacefully, with family members at his side, Friday, December 8th, 2006. He was born April 8th, 1930 and lived most of his life in Rochester NH until moving to Florida in 1982. Survivors include his children Frank N. Cross, Gayle D. Feyler and her husband Dwight, Nancy Jo Wade, Pamela J. Bruce and her husband Donald, Stacie Cross, Ty Eric Cross and his wife Jada, Chris K. Cross and his wife Stacey. He also leaves behind 18 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Family members also include one brother, Wayne Cross and his wife Mary, two sisters, Hazel Warden and her husband Perley, and Lorraine Cardosi. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and a close friend Evelyn Bess. A private family grave site ceremony will be held at Chapel Hill Gardens in Dade City, FL. to honor his memory. A private memorial service to celebrate Frank’s life will also be held at a later date in New Hampshire. In lieu of flowers, it is the family’s request that donations be made to Hernando Pasco Hospice of Dade City, Florida.
Walter Henry Giese
Giese, Walter Henry, born April 21, 1926, went to Heaven peacefully on December 10, 2006 from his home in Zephyrhills, FL, where he will join his parents, his sister and his wife Marie, of 49 years. Surviving are his wife LaVonne (Voni), a son William (Maria) Raynor of Brandon, a daughter Dona (Richard) Tepolt of Roseville, Ca., a son Donald Giese (Candi) of Stockton, CA. Six grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. His career was his great love as a senior mechanical engineer working for Aerojet in Sacremento, CA from 1957 to 1971 and USBI at the Kennedy Space Center from 1980 until his retirement. He attended Northrop Aeronautical Institute and returned to school at Barry University in Miami Shores, FL to receive his BA 1985. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean War. Walter was a mason and a Shriner and was very active when he lived in Titusville. He was always ready for a “to do list” from his family & friends and will be dearly missed by all. A memorial service will be held in his honor on Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at 11:00am at Forrest Lake Estates Club House.
Muriel R. Hutchinson
Hutchinson, Muriel R., 80 years, Zephyrhills, passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at Florida Hospital Zephyrhills. She was born August 20, 1926 in Barre, Vermont. She has lived in Florida since 1959. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Blount and her son, Gary Hutchinson; her grandchildren, Alan, Wendy, P.J., Daniel, Matthew, Nicole and Laura; her brother, Robert Moody; nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Marje Bylow. Graveside services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, December 9, 2006 at Oakside Cemetery.
