Survivors include two daughters, Myra Varnadoe of Dade City and Vickie Belcher of Vienna, GA; six grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at Floral Memory Gardens with Rev. John Boone officiating.
Catherine E. Eglinton
Eglinton, Catherine E., 66 yrs of Betmar Acres, Zephyrhills, Florida, passed away Friday, November 17, 2006 at her home. She was born August 26, 1940 in Mexico City, Mexico, the daughter of Jorge Whitlaw and Patricia Margarita Grover Kerse. She has lived in Florida the last two years, moving from Harrison, Michigan. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Edward Eglinton; Keith Edward Eglinton and his wife, Teresa of Macomb, Michigan; siblings, Patricia Aguero of Cuernavaca, Mexico and Elaine and husband Fernando Kido of Mexico City, Mexico; grandchildren Patrick Ryan Eglinton of Honolulu, Hawaii; many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral service will be 3 p.m Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2006 at Hodges Family Funeral Home, Hwy. 54 Chapel, Zephyrhills with visitation prior to service 1 to 3 p.m., Tuesday.
Lila R. McLaughlin
McLaughlin, Lila R., 87, of Dade City, died Saturday, November 18, 2006 at Pasco Regional Medical Center. A native of Providence, Florida, she was a life long resident of this area. She was a retired Rancher and Citrus Grower and was a Lifetime Member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 4283, having served many terms as President. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Zito of Zephyrhills and Sylvia Tew of Dade City; a son, Gregory A. McLaughlin of Providence, RI; eight grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held in the chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home, 301 Chapel, on Friday, November 24, 2006 with Rev. Randal Belcher officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Gardens.
Wanda M. Tillman
Tillman, Wanda M., 55, of San Antonio, FL, passed away Thursday, November 16, 2006 at her home in San Antonio. She was born December 1, 1950 in Sterling, IL, to Arthur W. Zissler and Betty Jane Pope. She was a homemaker and a life-member of the VFW ladies auxiliary. She is survived by her husband: Aaron Tillman, San Antonio, FL; 2 sons: William Carl Loewen, Milton, FL, Earl Clifford Loewen, Vancouver, WA; her mother: Betty Jane Shoemake, Yuma, AZ; her brother: Kenneth Dale Zissler, Payson, AZ; and 1 grandson: Thaddeus Merrick Loewen, Milton, FL. She will be interred at Bethel Cemetery in Milledgeville, IL, at a later date.
Curtiss Wayne Moree
Moree, Curtiss Wayne, 71, of Dade City, FL, passed away Thursday, November 16, 2006 in Dade City under the care of Hernando-Pasco Hospice. He was born December 5, 1934 in Red Rock, GA, to Curtiss Moree and Marylou Barfield Moree. He retired from the Poultry Industry after 35 years with Wallace Hatchery. He is survived by his son: Michael W. Moree, Tucson, AZ; his daughter: Beverly D. Lane, Zephyrhills, FL; 1 sister: Sandra Williams, St. Petersburg, FL; 3 grandchildren: Michael Shannon Moree, Gilbert, AZ, Stormy Lane, Zephyrhills, FL, Brad Lane, Zephyrhills, FL; and 4 great grandchildren: Alex Moree, Andy Moree, Madeleine Moree, and Aryeal Lane. He was preceded in death by his wife: Beverly Jane Hinson Moree; and 1 granddaughter: Heather Michelle Moree. A memorial gathering will be held Monday afternoon, November 20, 2006 from 3-5pm at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in his memory to the American Diabetes Association P.O. Box 1131, Fairfax, VA 22038-1131.

O’Connor, Marion “Betty”, of Dade City, FL, died November 17, 2006. She was born February 13, 1925, the daughter of Charles and Marion Hurley of Cambridge, MA. She moved to Ft. Lauderdale, FL, in 1976 from Hingham, MA, and later to Boca Raton and Delray Beach, FL. She moved to Dade City in 1995. She was a homemaker and real estate broker. She was a volunteer at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, MA, and Pasco Regional Medical Center in Dade City since 2000. She was predeceased by her sister: Sally Hurley; and daughter: Betsy Trevino. She is survived by 4 children: Sarah & James Fitzgerald, Plymouth, MA, Thomas & Paula O’Connor, Woodland Hills, CA, Kathleen & Lawrence Beeman, Dade City, FL, Austin & Elizabeth O’Connor, Fuquay-Varina, NC; 1 brother: Charles & Dorothea Hurley, Hyannis, MA; 2 sisters: Nancy & Leigh Quinn, Winchester, MA and Sarasota, FL; Ellen & Arthur Murphy, Newport, RI; also 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11am Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home. Friends may call one hour prior to service time, from 10am to 11am, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Gardens.

Caporali, Anthony Daniel, 73, of Zephyrhills, FL, passed away Thursday evening, November 16, 2006, at his home. He was born September 14, 1933 in Pittsburgh, PA, to Archangelo & Antoinette Caporali. He was retired from the food service industry as a supervisor and was an avid golfer. He is survived by his wife of 34 years: Marcia Caporali, Zephyrhills, FL; 2 daughters: Andrea & Cinto Mendoza, Royal Palm Beach, FL, Lisa Caporali, Gulfport, MS; 1 brother: Archangelo Caporali, West Palm Beach, FL; 1 sister: Angie Ramirez, California; and 2 grandchildren: Keegan & Macy O’Malley. Graveside services will be held10am Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. Flowers will be gratefully accepted, or those that wish may make donations in his memory to Children’s Charities or Gulfside Regional Hospice.
Paul Lee Register
Register, Paul Lee, 45, of Dade City, FL, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2006 after a brief battle with brain cancer. He was born August 18, 1961 in Tampa, FL, to Harold Rueben Register and Carolyn Mobley and moved to Dade City just a few months ago from Land O’Lakes, FL. He was a Locomotive Engineer in the Phosphate Industry for 20 years and was later employed with TruGreen Landcare as an Irrigation Technician. He was a loving husband, father and friend, who loved fishing, hardwork and spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 17 years: Angela Register, Dade City, FL; his daughter: Vanessa Lindquist, Quitman, GA; his stepdaughter: Colleen & Brian Stanley, Land O’Lakes, FL; his father: Harold Register, Lakeland, FL; 5 sisters: Carol Jean Register, Brandon, FL, Rhonda Wyatt, Anniston, AL, Judy Brown, Glenda Shular, Brandon, FL, Angela Hamilton, Tampa, FL; his in-laws: Donald & Donna Scott, Dade City, FL; grandchildren: Courtney Stanley and Matthew Stanley; and several nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his mother: Carolyn Ruth Register; and his grandmother: Odessa Connell.
