Born February 10,1911, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Borghild (Siersted) Smock. She retired from a public school system as a cook. She is survived by a son, Donald Jones of Zephyrhills; 3 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren. Burial Services will be held at Coffey Cemetery in Missouri. Garcia, Cesar L, 60, of Zephyrhills passed away at his home Friday, November 10, 2006. He was born March 9, 1946 in Tampa, Florida the son of Cecil Garcia and Alice Fernandez Garcia. He is survived by his loving family, including his wife Brenda, his children, Tiffany, Kenny, Tracey and Danielle Garcia, step-children Michael, Matthew, Kristin and Mark Moon, and 15 grandchildren. Agnes Davis Deal
Deal, Agnes Davis, 82, of Dade City, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2006 in Dade City under the care of Gulfside Regional Hospice. She was born January 17, 1924 in McConnells, AL, to John W. Davis and Geneva Strickland. She moved to Florida in 1953 from Mississippi and settled in Dade City in 1954. She was a registered nurse for 30 years, served on the Pasco County School Board for 16 years, and an active member of the Bridge Club since 1955. She is survived by her daughters: Dinah D. & Alan Grant, Dade City, FL, Debbie & Andy Frelick, Dade City, FL, Denise Deal, Gainesville, FL; her brother: Jay Davis, Kosciusko, MI; 2 sisters: Bennie & Margarite, Texas; and 4 grandchildren: Thomas Flessas, Adam Frelick, Annie Frelick, John Frelick. Friends called Thursday evening, from 6-8pm, for a memorial gathering at Hodges Family Funeral Home 301 Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in her memory to Gulfside Regional Hospice, 37826 SkyRidge Circle, Dade City, FL 33525.

Clark, Bobby, 47, of Tampa, Florida passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2006. He was born September 9, 1959 in Tampa, the son of Walter Lee and Blanche “Little Mary” Clark. He is survived by his loving family, including his brother and sister-in-law, Cody and Diann Clark of Alachua, Florida, his sister and brother-in-law, Esther and Gerald Fulton of Wesley Chapel and many nieces and nephews. Ernest Nielson "Poppie" Rodbro
Rodbro, Ernest Nielsen. "Poppie", 89 yrs of John Knox Village , Tampa , passed away, Tuesday, October 31, 2006 at Lifepath Hospice Center , Tampa . He was born ay 17, 1917 in Waukegan , Illinois the son of Andrew and Petrea Christensen Rodbro. He worked for Commonwealth Edison of Waukegan, was Supervising Engineer for New Trier High School of Winnetka, and was Director of Building and Grounds for Chicago City Colleges. He has lived in Florida since 1982. Ernie was a prolific reader and a proficient writer. To his progeny he leaves his 333-page autobiography, "How Tall are You? Five-Foot-Seventeen." Poppie was a generous and loving patriarch who also enjoyed painting and dry gin martinis. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Willo Rodbro; his two daughters, Pamela Cumming of Zephyrhills , FL and Linda Zaccanti of Tampa ; his granddaughter, Kirsten Riveiro and her husband Bill Riveiro of Tampa; granddaughter, Ann Zaccanti of Tampa ; his great grandchildren, Delaney and Dylan Riveiro and Jessica and Jeffry Zaccanti; and two nephews, Bruce Ernest and Stephen Rodbro. A Memorial Service was held Monday November 6, 2:30pm at John Knox Village Chapel at 4100 East Fletcher Avenue in Tampa.
Louis Rice
Rice, Louis, of Dade City left this life on November 9, 2006.Louis Rice was born August 26, 1924 in Big Rock, Michigan. Son of Clarence Clayton Rice and Ruth M. Hilderbrant late of Big Rock, he married June Elizabeth Osgerby September 27, 1953 in Big Rock, MI. After his Navy Service in World War II where he earned many military awards, including a Domestic service award and an Asiatic Theater Victory award, Louis was a self-taught musician and was considered quite good by his peers. Mr. Rice spent his life working as a commercial Aviator. Louis was the son of Clarence and Ruth Rice, late of Big Rock who proceeded him in death as did his first wife June [Osgerby] Louis leaves a second wife Ruth A. McDaniels, Son; Randall Louis (Teresa) Son; Lawrence Douglas Grandson: Torrey Randall Rice, several step grand children and very close cousins, James F. Badgrow of Oceanside, CA and Bruce (Rita) Badgrow of Covina, CA. A visitation was held at Hodges Family Funeral Home (36327 State Road 54, Zephyrhills), November 12, 2006 from 12:00pm – 3:00pm. He will then return home to Michigan for a burial service.
Dennis Michael “Biggins” Quenneville
Quenneville, Dennis Michael “Biggins”, 18 years, of Zephyrhills, passed away suddenly, Monday, November 6, 2006. He was born March 15, 1988 in Zephyrhills, the son of Marc Michael and Anita Frances Quenneville. He graduated from Zephyrhills High School in June 2006. He worked at Kash N Karry and attended PHCC, studying to have a career in welding. He enjoyed his family, friends, mud bogging, playing soccer, loved hunting, fishing and bowling. He is survived by his parents, Marc and Anita; his sisters, Deb Quenneville and Denise Seufzer and her husband, Donald: his grandmother, Lyse Quenneville of Zephyrhills; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Visitation was 6 to 8 p.m., Friday at Hodges Family Funeral Home, Hwy 301 Chapel, Dade City. Service were 10 a.m., Saturday at the Funeral Home. Heaven awaits you, Dennis, so “Git-R-Done”.
Willie McClendon
McClendon, Willie, 87, of Dade City, died Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at Gulfside Regional Hospice in Dade City. A lifelong resident of this area, he was a retired laborer in the citrus industry. Survivors include his wife, Lucille; two daughters, Freddie Campbell and Delores Hansberry, both of Dade City; a son, Willis Bethea of Dade City; two sisters, Laura Farmer and Agnes Mathis, both of Dade City; two brothers, Lawrence McClendon of Dade City and Monroe McClendon of Land O'Lakes; and numerous grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2006 at the 5th Street Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home with Rev. Bernard McClendon officiating. The family received friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Dade City Cemetery.
Charles Anthony Gabalis
Gabalis, Charles Anthony, 97, left this life on November 6, 2006 in Tampa. Mr. Gabalis was born on December 28, 1908 in New York City, New York to parents Anthony and Anastazia Gabalis. He proudly served his country as a Naval Engineer in World War II and worked most of life as an electrical engineer for the city of New York. He lived in Bayside, New York for most of his life and only came to Florida 7 months ago. Mr. Gabalis is survived by his two children; Clair (Bruce) Claffie and Charles Robert Gabalis, he also leaves behind his loving grandchildren Laura Kelly of Wellington, FL, Kristine Symonds of Lithia, FL, Kenneth Claiffie of Huntington, NY and five great grandchildren, Kayla, Chloe, Kyle Jr., Kendall, and Aidan. Mr. Gabalis was very proud of his family and loved being near to them, he will be missed greatly. Arrangements for his return home to New York were handled by Hodges Family Funeral Home, and burial services will be held in Queens, New York at Calvary Cemetery on Saturday, November 10, 2006.

Hipple, Raymond Lawrence, 67, of Zephyrhills, Florida, passed away Monday, November 6, 2006 at his home. He was born September 20, 1939 in Philadelphia, PA, the son of Raymond and Myrtle Hipple. He has lived in Zephyrhills since 1984. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Eileen; three sons, Raymond Lawrence Hipple, Jr. and Marcus Hipple, both of New Jersey; Edwin and his wife, Jonie Hipple of Ruskin, FL; his daughter Donna and her husband, James Hurtubise of Zephyrhills; his brother, Thomas Hipple of PA; 2 granddaughters, Mercedes and Destiny, a grandson and a great granddaughter. Services will remain private.
