Romanow, William, 83, of Forest Lake Estates, Zephyrhills, passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2006. He was born July 23, 1923 in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Philliand Tatiana Romanow. He was a graphic illustrator for General Motors, Chevrolet Division, retiring in 1980. He has lived in Zephyrhills for 13 years, moving from Beaverton, Michigan. He had lived in Warren, Michigan 20 year previously. He was a WWII Army Veteran and was a member of Faith Baptist Church, Zephyrhills. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mildred Romanow; his children; Gary William and his wife Cindy Romanow of Sterling Heights, Michigan, Sally Lynn Mitchell of Grand Rapids, MI; James Peter and his wife Deborah Romanow of Matthews, NC; Timothy Mark and his wife, Shari Romanow of Germantown, TN; and his 9 granddaughters and 1 grandson and 1 great granddaughter; his siblings: Anna Anderson of Richmond, MI and Olga Rogos of Kalkaska, MI; many nieces , nephews and friends. Arrangements for his return home to MI were handled by Hodges Family Funeral Home, and services were held at A.H. Peters Funeral Home, Warren, MI with visitation being held on Friday, November 10, 2006 from 6-8pm and funeral service on Saturday, November 11, 2006 at 10:00am at the Funeral Home and burial in White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, MI.
Tulsa Mae Segert
Tulsa Mae Segert of St. Petersburg passed on Nov. 5th 2006 from respiratory failure due to pneumonia at Bayfront Medical Center. She was 84, born on Oct. 24th 1922 in Lorain, Ohio. She came to the area in 1956 from Elyria, Ohio. She was a retired bookkeeper and homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband Edwin August in 2002. Survivors include her daughter Sherri Thompson of St. Petersburg; sons, Warren R. of Zephyrhills and Gary B. of Altamonte Springs; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren. Visitation was held from 2-3pm Thursday, Nov. 9th at Hodges Family Funeral Home on US 301 in Dade City. Funeral Service and Interment followed at the Chapel Hill Gardens Cemetery.
Robert C. Harvey, Jr.
Harvey Jr., Robert C., 44, of Dade City passed away suddenly Sunday, November 5, 2006 at St. Joseph Hospital in Tampa. He was born August 21, 1962 at the Selfridge Air Force Base in Michigan, to Russell C. Harvey Jr. & Sandra Lee Horton Harvey. He moved to the Dade City area 42 years ago from Michigan, worked at CF Industries, and worked in real estate sales. He enjoyed farming, cattle, and other aspects of the agriculture community, and was a member of the Moose Lodge. He is survived by 2 daughters: Kristina & Steve Beebe, Dade City, FL, Felecia Harvey, Ypsilanti, MI; 1 son: Brandon Harvey, Zephyrhills, FL; their mother: Kim Harvey, Zephyrhills, FL; 5 grandchildren: Krystal, James, Madison, Matilda, Ryan; his father & stepmother: Russell & Gloria Harvey Sr., Dade City, FL; 1 brother: Tim & Lori Harvey, Dade City, FL; his grandmother: Hallie Harvey, Dade City, FL; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held 4pm Friday, November 10, 2006 at Hodges Family Funeral Home 301 Chapel. Friends called 2 hours prior to service time, from 2-4pm at the funeral home. Inurnment will take place at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell at a later date.
Nancy L. Kuehne
Kuehne, Nancy L, 59, of Sundance, Zephyrhills, passed away on October 30, 2006 at Hernando Pasco Hospice Care Center while surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 18, 2006 in Bay City, Michigan, and moved to Florida in 1990. Mrs. Kuehne is survived by her loving husband Richard of 38 years, her children Jodi (Dennis) Durkin, of Greyson, GA and Andy (Christina), Bradenton, FL. She is also survived by her parents Virgil White of Bay City, MI and Rosalind White of Sarasota, FL, her siblings Bruce White of Flagstaff, AZ, Meredith Zinn of Bradenton, FL, and eight grandchildren; Ben, Sydney, Abby, Josh, Marcus, Dakota, Matthew, and Jeremiah. Also by her two loving companion dogs Norm and Apollo. She loved her grandchildren, hot-rodding, and sewing and will be missed by all who knew her. A memorial service will be held on November 18, 2006 at 4:00 PM. at Sundance Mobile Home Park Clubhouse. Classic Cars Expected. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Hernando-Pasco Hospice.
Betty LaShure
LaShure, Betty, 83, of Zephyrhills went home to be with her lord in Zephyrhills on November 4, 2006. A native of Mishawaka, IN, she is survived by her three children; Norma LaShure of Zephyrhills, FL, Donald LaShure of San Diego, CA, and Paul LaShure of Metal, MS. She adored her eight grandchildren, several cousins, nieces, and nephews. She will be reunited in heaven with her beloved husband of 50 years Donald LaShure. Betty was retired from the Bendix Corporation in Sidney, NY and has lived in Zephyrhills for over 20 years. She was a member of the NCHA, the “The Lazy Hitch-A-Longs” camping club, The Red Hat Society, and Faith Baptist Church of Zephyrhills, FL. A celebration of her home going was held at Hodges Family Funeral Home (5221 8th Street, Zephyrhills) on Tuesday, November 7, 2006. Visitation was held from 10:30-11:30am and services followed at 11:30am with internment at Oakside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please donate to Hernando-Pasco Hospice, Dade City, FL. Thomas "Tom" Yingling
Yingling, Thomas "Tom", 58, of Dade City, died Thursday, May 31, 2007 at Brandon Regional Hospital. A native of Pennsylvania, he was a long time resident of Dade City. A US Army Veteran having served in Germany, he was a dispatcher for WW Trucking in Dover. Survivors include his wife, Joan; six step children, Bob Ballard of San Antonio, Kim Tate and Jessie Raleigh, both of Dade City, Christina Robertson of Tampa, Lorina Langrader of Georgia and Joe Johnson of Brandon; three siblings; and 7 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 5, 2007. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow, with military honors, at Florida National Cemetery.

Williams, Hugh I., 81, Zephyrhills, passed away Monday, May 28, 2007. He was born May 19th, 1928 in New York, the son of Hugh O. and Hilda Besinger Williams. He served in the US Navy during World War II. He is survived by his children, Jeffrey, Guy and Kim Williams, all of Tampa and Nancy Niver, McGraw, NY; his brother, Alton William, Zephyrhills, his sister, Katherine Stevens, Cortland, NY, nieces, Arline, Dryden, NY and Diane Stevens, Truxton, NY and several grandchildren, cousins and friends. Services will be private.
Ina Marie Pollard
POLLARD, Ina Marie, 89, of Dade City, Fla., formally of West Palm Beach, Fla., died at the Royal Oak Nursing Center in Dade City, Fla. She was born August 8, 1917, in Toobs County, Ga. She loved to travel to Georgia with her grandchildren to visit other family members and also enjoyed several trips to Alaska. She was a homemaker and a member of the Haverhill Baptist Church in West Palm Beach for more than 30 years. She loved her family very much. Survivors include sons, Robert Anderson of West Palm Beach, Fla., James Anderson of Homosassa, Fla.; daughters, Elizabeth Stevenson of Crossville, Tenn., Jeannie Brewer of Valdosta, Ga.; brothers, R.A. Smith of Alabama, Allen Smith of Live Oak, Fla.; sisters; Dorothy Cook of Inverness, Fla., Margaret Arnold of Inverness, Fla.; 10 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2007, with a visitation 10 a.m. at Hodges Family Funeral Home. Burial will be Wednesday May 30, 2007, in the Lake Worth Memory Gardens in West Palm Beach, Fla.

Webb, Betty L., 77 of Zephyrhills passed away May 26, 2007 under the care of the Gulfside Regional Hospice at the Edwinola in Dade City. She was born March 30, 1930 in Illinois. She was a secretary for her husband’s business -Commercial Service, Inc. Survivors include her loving husband of almost 60 years; Floyd; son; Jim Webb (Edith) of Dade City; daughters; Chris Webb, Connie Barbieri (Danny) and Charniece Cleary (Doug) all of Zephyrhills; brother; Bradly Ross of Danville, IL.; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
