Ann T. Poist Zinger
Zinger, Ann T. Poist, 89, of Betmar, Zephyrhills, passed away Thursday, March 29, 2007. She was born September 1, 1917 in Wilmington, DE the daughter of Francis and Marguerite Givens. She has lived in Zephyrhills since 1980. She was a member of St. Josephs Catholic Church and the Moose Lodge, both of Zephyrhills. She loved to dance with her husband, Chester. She is survived by her husband, Chester Zinger, Zephyrhills: her children: Jeri Webb, Zephyrhills, Jim (Grace) Fischetti, Laurel, MD, twins Joe Beall, Kannapolis, NC and Jack (Amber) Beall, Laurel, MD; sister, Irene Johns, Annapolis, MD; her stepchildren: Gwen (John) Streaker, Zephyrhills and David Poist, Florida, 15 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by a son, Tom Fischetti, two grandchildren and her former husband, William Poist. Services will be 11 am, Monday, April 2, 2007 at Hodges Family Funeral Home, Hwy 54 Chapel, Zephyrhills with interment in Chapel Hills Gardens, Dade City. Visitation will be 4 to 6 pm Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hernando Pasco Hospice.

Lily Chanel Williams
With Great Sorrow Arkela Teartt of Beall’s Dept. Store and Joseph Williams of Zephyrhills Bottled Water Co. sadly announces that their beautiful baby girl Lily Chanel Williams was stillborn---but born still--- into Heaven on March 27, 2007. A memorial service will be held April 2, 2007 at 7pm at Oasis World Outreach Church in Zephyrhills, close friends and families are welcome. Flowers are welcomed the preference are Lily plants. Lily Chanel Williams is survived by parents: Arkela Teartt and Joseph William of Zephyrhills, Fl. Half-Sibling: Aliya Williams of New York. Grandparents: Walter and Theresa Jordan of Zephyrhills, Willie Joe and Ruth Williams of Georgia. Great Great Grand Parents: Lillie Mae Robinson of Zephyrhills. Aunts: Chelsee and Brittany Jordan of Zephyrhills, Mary Williams, Indie Jamison, Janice Williams all of Georgia, and Naomi Williams of Tennessee. Uncles: Israel Williams of Georgia, and Jerry Williams of Virginia. Numerous Great Aunts and Uncles, Cousins, family members, and friends who were all eagerly anticipating Lily Chanel’s precious arrival. We thank all family and friends for your sympathies and support. We extend a Special Thank You to Hodges Family Funeral Home for their GREAT GENEROSITY. We also extend a very warm thank you to Jim Kehr, Licensed Funeral Director of Hodges Funeral Home and Brenda McCoy, RN @ Dade City Hospital for their loving kindness during this traumatic time. James Henry Somers
Somers, James Henry, 75, Zephyrhills, FL passed away March 25, 2007. He was born October 29, 1931 in Palmyra, Maine. He retired from the U.S. Army and started working for the US Government as a Communication Specialist. He loved to fish, hunt and puzzles. James is survived by his loving family including his wife Constance Maxine of 52 years, 5 children; Crystal (Rex) Luce, Dover-Fox Croft, ME, Karen (George) Small and Wanda (Tony) Kimball, both of Zephyrhills, Randy (Debra) Somers, St. Albans, ME and Corrine (Brad) Tarr, Muldrow, OK, 9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 3 sisters, Geneva (Carrol) Allen, Hampden, ME. Marjorie (Bill) Saunders, Surry, ME and Charlene (Clarkie) Clark, Presque Isle, ME. He is preceded by one grandson, James Reynolds and one brother Russell Somers. Burial to be at Florida National Cemetery.

Richard L. Durfee
Durfee, Richard L., 60, of Dade City, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2007. He was born July 14, 1946 in Clifton Forge, VA the son of William and Hazel Norris Ogden. He was a member of New Hope Assembly of God. He loved to hunt and fish. He was a Vietnam Navy Veteran. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Patricia Durfee; his children: Victoria (Joe Gould) Schnieder, Toccoa, GA, Patricia (Matthew) Edgeman, Zephyrhills, Lisa (David) Jourdan, Oklahoma City, OK, Shannon (Dawn) Carnley, Polk City and Sherrie Carnley, Dade City; eight grandchildren: Dean, Allen, Jeffery, Corinna, Riley, Kaaitlyn, Jessica and Emily; brother in laws, nephews, nieces, cousins & a host of friends. Funeral service will be 2 pm., Saturday, March 31 at Hodges Funeral Home, 301 Chapel, Dade City with burial to follow in Floral Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m, Friday at the funeral home.

Louis C. Totoro
Louis C. Totoro born May 15, 1926 in Millville, NJ. Beloved husband of Joan I. Totoro, father of Paula A. (Kenneth) Austin, Dona M. (Joseph) Veight, Charles L. (Carol) Totoro, Lou Ann (Anthony) Pizzo, Louis J. (Christina) Totoro and Michael S. (Mary) Totoro. Grandfather to Christopher Cadieux, Samantha Halter, Ashlee Austin, Charles R. Totoro, Alexander Totoro, Dona Marie Pizzo, Sara Totoro and Rachel Totoro. Great Grandfather to Maeson Cadieux and Shayne Halter. Brother to Marie McCorristin. Retired in 1988 from State Farm Insurance as an Agent of thirty years. Served in the US Navy from 1944 to 1946 as Yeoman Second Class awarded The American Theater Medal and The Victory Medal. Served as President of Bridgeton City Council for many years and Cumberland County Treasurer from 1973 to 1988. Member of the Exchange Club of Bridgeton for many years. Served as an active member of the Cumberland County Democratic Party. He was an avid golfer and Monday Night Poker Club. Daddy (as everyone knew him) will be sadly missed by his family and many friends from Whispering Oaks and his hometown of Bridgeton, NJ. Visitation will be 2 to 4 PM Friday March, 30th at Hodges Funeral Home 14046 5th St., Dade City. A Memorial Mass will follow at 5PM at St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Herman Merritt “Scott” Cunningham
Cunningham, Herman Merritt “Scott”, 74, Zephyrhills, FL, passed away March 25, 2007. He was born November 23, 1932 in Magnetic Springs, Ohio. He was a Veteran serving in the U. S. Navy. He was a member of Post 4283 VFW Honor Guard. He was owner of H. Cunningham Masonry and was a Brick Mason for over 40 years. He is survived by his loving family including his wife, Ann Cunningham, daughters, Carla ( Mark) White, Jacksonville, FL. and Janice (Phil) Gillis, San Carlos, MX, son Timothy Cunningham, Washougal, WA, granddaughter, Loren White, Jacksonville, Fl. grandson, Jared Gross, Raleigh, NC, sister Hazel (Dominick) Caselnova, brother, Richard Cunningham, Cocoa, FL, many nieces and nephews. He is preceded by one son Mark Ellis Cunningham and 2 brothers, David and Dale Cunningham. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, March 30, 2007 at 10:30 AM at Hodges Family Funeral Home on 54. A Graveside will follow at Florida National Cemetery at 12:30. with Military Honors provided by Post 4283 from Dade City. Kerrigan, Dennis E
Kerrigan, Dennis E, 50, Zephyrhills, passed away March 25, 2007. He was born October 18, 1956 The Bronx, NY. He was a Veteran serving in the U. S. Air Force and National Guard. Dennis was a dedicated Chicago Bears and Cubs Fan who loved cooking, fishing, traveling, Scifi, and Star Trek. Dennis is survived by his loving family including his wife Tina Kerrigan, two sons, Daniel Kerrigan, Valdosta, GA and Patrick Kerrigan, Tampa; step children; Tiana Cardenas, Palm Harbor, Fl, Annemarie Saxer, Mobile, AL, Wayne Saxer, Jr, San Diego, CA, USN, Kourtni Graves and Dakota Graves both of Zephyrhills; his mother, Joan Kerrigan, St. Petersburg, FL, 2 brothers, John P. Kerrigan, Punta Gorda, FL and Timothy J. Kerrigan, Pell City, AL, 2 sisters, Gloria Beazley, Allen, TX and Maureen Horning, St. Petersburg, 3 grandchildren, Daniel, Annabelle and Matthew Kerrigan all of Valdosta, GA and several nieces and nephews. A Graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM March 30, 2007 at Florida National Cemetery.

Robert L. Bryant
Bryant, Robert L., Sr., 58 of Dade City, passed away at his home suddenly, Friday, March 23, 2007. He was born January 3, 1949 the son of Marvin and Stella Lewis Bryant. He was from a Pasco County Pioneer family. He graduated from Pasco High School in 1967 where he played football. He was currently serving on a committee to plan his 40th high school reunion. He attended Florida State University and was a graduate of University of South Florida where he was a member of the Alumni Association. He owned and operated his own business as a food broker. He had different affiliations with the food industry, one of which was the International Dairy, Deli, and Bakery Association. He loved his family, citrus groves, cattle and loved to watch sports. He was proud of his heritage and teaching the values of the land. He was an Avid historian and he enjoyed reading about and visiting places of key historical significance. He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Bryant; father and mother-in-law, Thurman & Arlene Burnett. He is survived by his loving family, his wife of 37 years, Beverly; his children: Robert Jr., (Melissa); Christie (Jason) Crosby; his mother, Stella Bryant; sister, June Kirby; his grandchildren: Kaitlyn and Austin Bryant, Courtney and Jacob Crosby. He enjoyed a special relationship with his aunt, Retha McBeth and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, brother-in-law and friends.

Zygmunt/Sigmund S. Sypniewski
Zygmunt/Sigmund S. Sypniewski (b. 1914) was a 4th degree knight in the Knights of Columbus. He passed away on March 24, 2007, at the Edwinola Gulfside Regional Hospice in Dade City, Pasco County, Florida. Sigmund was the eldest surviving son of Kazimierz and Weronica [nee Modzelewska] Sypniewski. Sigmund was born on April 3, 1914, in Glassport, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Irene Pearl [Stempnakowski] Sypniewski [b. 1918] proceeded her husband's passing on October 9, 2003 [at age 85]. They were married on September 14, 1939, in Pittsburgh, PA. After leaving Glassport circa 1944/5, Sigmund worked, in Detroit, Michigan, for the Ford Motor Company. After retirement, Sigmund and Irene moved to Zephyrhills, FL. Where they remaining until both their deaths. Sigmund is survived by his son, Raymond Sypniewski, of Westland, MI.; his wife Margaret [nee Knight] Sypniewski; and their son, Matthew Rhys Sypniewski. Sigmund's daughter is Eileen [nee Sypniewski] Randall, of Millersville, MD. Her late husband was Phillip Randall [d. 2002]. They have a daughter Heather [nee Randall] Cargile of Maryland. Heather and her husband, Christopher have two sons named Caden Phillip and Jace Christopher Cargile.Sigmund's surviving siblings are Stella [Sypniewski] Schmotzer, Gertrude [Sypniewski] Maizur, and Chester Sypniewski, all of Glassport, PA. Sigmund’s deceased siblings are Bojemond Sypniewski, Sarah Sypniewski, Sophia [Sypniewski] Orosi, Stanley Sypniewski, Blanche Sypniewski, and Joseph W. Sypniewski. He is also survived by various nieces and nephews in Pittsburgh, Glassport, Germany, and Texas. Cremation will be at the Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City, Florida. Sigmund's ashes will be placed in the Bell Tower in Chapel Hill Gardens
Cemetery, Dade City, Pasco County, Florida, next his beloved wife Irene. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Cancer Foundation.
