Atkins, Nancy L., 72, of Zephyrhills, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2007. She was born Feb. 7, 1935 in New York, New York the daughter of Costanzo and Emily Demaria. She was lived in Zephyrhills since 1981. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Chip Atkins. She is survived by her children: Susan (Paul) Bush, Olyphant, PA, Cathi (Jim) Kelly, Zephyrhills, Bill (Edna) Atkins, PA and Nancy Burris, Factoryville, PA, Tom Atkins, PA; siblings: Luisa (Manuel) Gonzalez, Zephyrhills, Paul Demaria, NY and Joe (Ellen) Demaria, NY; 12 grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral Mass will be 11 am, Friday, Dec. 14, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Zephyrhills. Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday at Hodges Family Funeral Home, 54 Chapel, Zephyrhills. DiCarlo, Albert S., 77, Dade City, passed away Monday, December 10, 2007. He was born Sept. 4, 1930 in Syracuse, NY the son of Phillip and Rose DiCarlo. He had served in the US Air Force and later worked for the Veterans Administration as a Pharmacy Technician. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Margaret A. DiCarlo; his children: John (Michelle) DiCarlo, Atlanta, GA and Stephanie (Mark) Neuman, Tampa; sibling, Michael and Joseph DiCarlo and Nancy Spaid; 2 granddaughters, Katlyn and Andrea; many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral service will be 9:30 am, Friday, December 14 at Hodges Family Funeral Home, 301 Chapel, Dade City, with burial to follow at Chapel Hill Gardens. Visitation 3 to 5 pm, Thursday at the funeral home.

Basham, James Roy, 70, of Ridge Manor, Florida passed away Monday, December 10, 2007 in Dade City. He was born November 21, 1937 in Marion, IL to George Wesley and Anna Mae Basham and moved to Ridge Manor 30 years ago from Brooksville, FL. He was a retired electrician. A loving father and husband, he is survived by his wife of 48 years: Barbara A. Basham; 2 sons: James Taylor & Gina Basham and Richard Wayne & Sharon Basham; his step-mother: Gaye Basham;2 step-brothers: Daryl Lilly and Harold Lilly; 1 step-sister: Loretta Cox; 3 brothers: George, Bob, and Charles Basham; 2 granddaughters: Amber Marcotte and Heather Delcore; and his great granddaughter: Skye Marcotte. Interment services will take place at a later date.

McBride,Thomas Griffith, formerly of Aliquippa, PA passed away December 7, 2007 in his home in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. Tom moved to Florida in 1971 and went to work for Publix Supermarkets and retired after 32 years of employment. Tom is survived by his beloved wife of 24 years, Bonnie; 1 brother, Bob (Jan) McBride of Gainesville; 2 daughters, Michelle Baker of Aliquippa, PA and Carmon Burton of Oakland Park, FL; 1 son Cory Nagel of Tampa, FL as well as 6 grandsons and 2 granddaughters. Visitation will be held 12- 1:30 Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at Hodges Family Funeral Home 11441 US Hwy 301 Dade City, Fl. Funeral services will follow at 1:30. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Gardens.

Weber, Joseph A., 82, of Dade City, died Thursday, December 6, 2007 at Florida Hospital Zephyrhills. A native of Detroit, Michigan, he moved to this area in 2004 from West Branch, MI. He was a retired bricklayer and served in the US Navy in the Atlantic Theatre during WWII. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Shirley; four daughters, Donna Dimaya of Dade City, Linda Lampen of Thorton, Colorado, Bonnie McDiarmid of Garden City, MI and June Francis of Perrysburg, Ohio; 7 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving family including his wife Wilhelmina “Billie”, daughter, Denise (Steve) and son, Terry (Cindy). A Service will be held at Florida National Cemetery on December 10, 2007 at 11:30 AM.
Donald A. Snyder
Snyder, Donald A., 81, of Dade City, died Thursday, December 6, 2006 at Hernando Pasco Hospice. A native of Oley, PA, he moved to Florida in 1969. He was a retired Major in the US Air Force and was a Korean Conflict Veteran. He moved to this area from Dunnellon in 2003. Survivors include three children, Donald A. Snyder, Jr of Zionville, NC, Billie J. Borntrager of Dade City and Douglas M. Snyder of Dunnellon; grandchildren, Alica Snyder, D.J. Snyder, Christopher Snyder and Darren Rocha; and one great grandchild, Julie Snyder. He was predeceased by his wife, Eva I. Snyder and by a daughter, Patti Ann Snyder. Funeral Services will be hell at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 14, 2007 at Florida National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.
