Tracey, Anna Irene, 87, of San Antonio, died Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at home. A native of Pittsburg, PA, she moved to this area in 2004. She was a homemaker and was Catholic by faith. Survivors include her children; her loving daughter, Michelle Tracey, Pat (George) Turdik, Kevin (Calvin) Wildeson, and James Tracey; four grandchildren, Lisa, Chris, Michael, and Erin; eight great grandchildren; Jennifer, Stephanie, Mary Kelly, Brittany, Zach, Ricky "Tiger", Michaela and Cameron; and her loving companion, Murphy. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to Hernando-Pasco Hospice.
Earl E. “Cookie” Cook
Cook, Earl E. “Cookie”, 80 years, Zephyrhills, passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2007. He was born Sept. 2, 1927 in Malone, New York the son of Jerris and Dora Cook. He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma of 23 years in 2002; his parents and 3 brothers, Floyd, Gerald and Harold Cook. He is survived by his two daughters, Fran (John) Foster , Cleveland, GA and Kay Richardson, Taccoa, GA; his grandchildren: Pete and Amanda Richardson; his sister, Geraldine Mayville, Malone, NY; 4 stepsons, Clarence, Doyle, Thomas and Terry Hale all of Zephyrhills and nephew. Steve Mayville, Zephyrhills.

Raleigh Daryl Wilson
Wilson, Raleigh Daryl, 48, of Zephyrhills, passed away on Monday, October 29, 2007 in Tampa. A native of Chicago, Ill., he was a long time resident of this area. He was a member of Victorious Life Church and the Spirit and Truth Ministries. Survivors include his wife, Sibyl; his mother, Dorothy Wilson; his father, Mr. & Mrs. Raleigh D. Wilson; his children, Darion Anderson, Adrianne Wilson, Ashley & Jacob Smith, Samantha D'Agustino, and Keith Raleigh Wilson; Julie Wilson, mother of Darion Anderson, Andrianne Wilson and Ashley Smith; his six siblings, Joni Evans, Terry Wilson, Tammy Davis, Andre Hendricks, Devilia Wilson and Bria Wilson; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 3, 2007 at Victorious Life Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Dade City Cemetery.
Robert Dixon Turner
Turner, Robert Dixon, 95, of Dade City, passed away Monday, October 29, 2007 at Pasco Regional Medical Center. He was born February 14, 1912 in Oil City, PA, to Arthur S. Turner and Mary Tullis and moved to Dade City in 1974 from Rochester, NY. He worked for 26 years at Gleason Works in Rochester, NY, and
was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Dade City. He received an award from Curtis Wright Aircrafts for designing protective armor for WW II
aircraft pilots, had been active as a Civil Defense Leader, and the 40/8 fraternal group. He is survived by his wife: Penelope L. Turner, Dade City, FL; his daughter: Barbara Baird, Los Angeles, CA; his son: Arthur Turner, Los Angeles, CA; two grandchildren: Timothy and Barbara; two great grandchildren: Junior and Amanda; and one great great granddaughter: Dimaya. A memorial service will be held 10am Saturday, November 3, 2007 at the First United Methodist Church with Dr. James Renault officiating.
Robert T. Foster
Foster , Robert T, 62 of Webster, passed away Monday, October 29, 2007. He was born August 19, 1945 in Oneonta, Alabama, the son of Okey and Connie (Butts) Foster . He worked 33 years for the Florida Department of Transportation. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Linda; his sons, Tim (Linda) Foster , Webster and Steve (Karen) Foster , Webster; his grandchildren: Serena, Lily and Wyatt Foster : his siblings: Marvin Foster , Oneonta; Benny Foster , Trilby; Johnny Foster , Ashville, NC; Margaret Foster , Webster; Roy Foster , Lacoochee; and Ray Foster , Bushnell; brothers-in-law, Johnny McGowin, David McGowin, Everett McGowin; sisters-in-law:Jessie Baker and Hazel Mercer; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Charles Foster . Funeral service will be 12 Noon Saturday, Nov. 3 at 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home, Dade City with burial following at Trilby Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service.
Neva L. Arthur
Arthur, Neva L, 93, resident of Betmar Estates, Zephyrhills, FL, passed away on October 23, 2007. A long time resident of Zephyrhills, Neva had most recently resided at Heartland of Zephyrhills for the last 3 years. Caregiver, Judy Booth took Neva to lunch daily to Wendy’s while residing at Westbrook Nursing Home & provided Neva with her daily Peanut butter cup while at Heartland. Neva was married to Robert C. Arthur. Through their life Neva & Robert lived in Maine, Massachusetts, Nebraska & Illinois before retiring to Florida in the mid 1970’s. Robert was an alumnus of Wheaton College, Wheaton, IL. Neva graduated from Peoria Methodist School of Nursing, Peoria, IL. Robert retired from General Electric Co., DeKalb, IL. in 1973. Neva’s last employment was as Head Surgical Nurse at Sycamore Hospital in IL. Robert passed away in 1984. Neva enjoyed activities with the Betmar Kitchen Band, sang in the Baptist Church Choir, was an avid Monday night Bingo player and enjoyed Chicago Bulls Basketball. Through her years at Betmar Estates, Neva took pleasure in providing nursing help to her fellow neighbors whenever needed. Survivors include her children: Carol Ann (Jack) McConaghie, Oglesby, IL; Charles E. (Sharon) Arthur, Portland, OR; Mary Evelyn (William) Phillips, Sycamore, IL & Robert W. (Kathleen) Arthur, Tampa, FL. Neva took great joy in her 12 grandchildren & 22 great-grandchildren. The family is respecting Neva’s wishes & there will be no Memorial service. Lori Marie Heine
Heine, Lori Marie, our beloved was gently taken by bands of angels to her heavenly home. On her earthly journey, the love and support she gave her children was unsurpassable. She gave Justin, Kymberly, Megan, Gregory and Jarrett a legacy of strong Christian values. Lori was extremely proud of each one of them. They in turn, supported and loved her daily, especially the last few years as she struggled to come to terms with her oldest son Justin’s death. She was the youngest and most cherished daughter of Margaret Heine. Lori joins her dad, Gerald Heine and her siblings, Marc and Kathy in their eternal game of Sheepshead. Her granddaughter, Jamie Lynn, her sisters and brothers, along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends will miss her, but remember all the love and laughter she shared with us. Services will be 1 pm Thursday, November 1 at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home, Dade City. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Dorr, Janet Lucille, 67, Zephyrhills passed away October 20, 2007. She was born February 27, 1940 in Utica, New York. She is survived by her loving family and will be greatly missed. Services are private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Hernando-Hospice Care Center.
William "Mickey" Shockey
Shockey, William “Mickey”, 77, of Dade City, passed away peacefully under the care of Hernando-Pasco Hospice with his family by his side. He was born May 24, 1930 in Lonaconing, MD, to William Melvin Shockey and Helen Josephine Metz. After serving in the U.S. Navy, he worked for Standard Auto Parts for over 40 years. He was a member of the Rod & Gun Club, and loved hunting, fishing, bowling and playing slot machines. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Lucia “Mickie” Shockey. He is survived by his brother Phillip Shockey, and his wife, Laverne, Lonaconing, MD; his daughters: Vickie Herring, and her husband Steve, Dade City, Susan Shockey, Lakeland, FL, Angela Shockey, Ft. Myers, FL; his son: Steven Shockey, Ft. Myers, FL; two grandsons, Kevin Duval and Bradley Herring. As a loving husband, father, and grandfather, he will be dearly missed. Funeral services are tentatively set for 2pm Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home. Friends may call two hours prior to service time. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Gardens. Flowers will be gratefully accepted, or those that wish may make donations in his memory to Hernando-Pasco Hospice.
