Roy, Lester L, 87, Zephyrhills, Fl. passed away March 6, 2008. He was born January 6, 1921 in Howell, MI. He was a sheet metal fabricator and a farmer in Gregory, MI before retiring to Zephyrhills, Fl. He is preceded by his wife of 67 years, Julia Grace Roy. He is survived by his loving family, including sons; Clyde (Pamela) Roy, Gregory, MI and Christopher J (Denise) Roy, Lucas TX; grandchildren, Jeffrey L. Roy, Howell, MI, Zachary W. Roy and Adam B. Roy both of Gregory, MI. Service were held Monday, March 10, 2008 with burial at Florida National Cemetery.
Harold Alvey
Alvey, Harold, 84, Zephyr Shores Estates, Zephyrhills, passed away Friday, March 7, 2008. He was born May 12, 1923 in Union County , KY to Everett and Mary Alvey. They wintered the last 25 years in Zephyrhills. He is survived by his wife 63 years, Jane "Bunny"; his children: Janet (Charles) Gagliano, Haslett, MI, Patrick (Alice) Alvey, Bourbonnais, IL, Michael Alvey, Zephyrhills and James (Chris) Alvey, Colchester, CT; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; siblings, Thomas (Kitty) Alvey, Zephyrhills, Joseph (Ruth) Alvey, Morganfield, KY, J.D. Alvey,East Peoria , IL and Martha Mills, Madisonville, KY. Visitation will be 4 to 6 pm Monday at the 54 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home, Zephyrhills. Funeral services and burial will be later in Morganfield , KY.
Corwin Micheal Allington
Allington, Corwin Micheal, 8 month infant son of Bradley and Sandra Allington. He was born June 9, 2007 in Dade City. He is survived by his parents; sister, Angelina Allington; grandparents: Peter and Barbara Burghardt, Scott and Beverly Paul, Patricia Harshman, Iona and Tom Maxwell great grandparents: Tony and Elsie Ciabattoni, Hazel and Melvin Wade and Howard Walley; many other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Graveside services will be 1 pm Friday, March 7 at Chapel Hill Gardens.
Henrietta Rebecca Mims
Mims, Henrietta Rebecca, 88 of Land O? Lakes, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2008. She was born April 22, 1919 in New Port Richey to David and Nanie Nettles. She loved the outdoors, camping, boating, knitting and her family. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Grace Wilson. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, James Mims; son, Ron (Kathy) Mims, daughters, Patricia (John) Allen and Shirley (Jimmy) Drake; grandchildren: Randy Pittman, Rick Pittman, James Drake, Deanne Davis, Jonetta Rosati, Jason Allen, Michael Mims and Megan Milligan; great grandchildren: Karen, Tiffany, Patrick, Christy, Amanda, Chloe, Chase, Kalie, Julie, Ryan, Caitlyn and Nicholas. Services will be 3:30 Saturday at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home, Dade City with visitation one hour prior to service. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Gardens.
Jeanette K. Maddock
Maddock, Jeanette K., 90, of Zephyrhills, passed away March 5, 2008. She was born March 23, 1917 in Chicago, Illinois and was a homemaker. She is predeceased by her parents, Phillip Goplus and Anna Greenberg and her sister, Alice Tyssen. In 1986 she was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Willard J. Maddock,; son, Willard P. Maddock; great granddaughter, Alissa Hill. Survivors include, daughter, Barbara (Jim) Cross; daughter-in-law, Jean Maddock; nephews, John (Jean ) and Gary Tyssen,; 5 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. The Family will receive friends from 2-3 at Hodges Family Funeral Home, 11441 US Hwy 301 Dade City Fl. Funeral Services will follow at 3 PM and will conclude with burial at Chapel Hill Gardens.
Thomas M. Chisholm
Chisholm, Thomas M. Jr., 60, of Land O’ Lakes, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center. Born in Tampa on 8/9/47 he was a life long area resident. He had retired from the Anheuser-Busch Brewery. He was a member of the Buchanan Baptist Church, a US Army Veteran and a member of the Brat Pack Mopar Club. Survivors include his wife, Kathleen; four sons, Michael Todd Chisholm of Aiken, SC, Thomas Chisholm, III and Christopher Chisholm, both of Land O’Lakes, and Clayton Smith of Alaska; a daughter, Michelle Thomas-Hingson of Lakeland; his mother, Ernestine Beasley Chisholm of Land O’Lakes; his father, Thomas Clinton of Jacksonville; and five grandchildren, Brooke Thomas and Brandon Hingson, both of Lakeland, and Ian Chisholm, Logan Chisholm and Dylan Chisholm, all of Aiken. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, March 7, 2008 at Chapel Hill Gardens.
William W. BeVille, Jr.
William W. BeVille, Jr., 83, of Dowling Park, FL, passed away at Shands at Lake Shore Hospital, Lake City, FL on March 3, 2008. Since December 1, 2004, Mr. BeVille had resided in the community of Advent Christian Village on the Suwannee River, which he referred to as ?one step this side of heaven.? He moved there from Ridge Manor West, Brooksville, FL where he relocated from his home state of Virginia in 1973. He was a graduate of John Marshall High School in Richmond, Virginia, entered the Army in 1943 and served in the India-Burma Theater as Staff Sergeant in 1945. Mr. BeVille counted as a special blessing his job with Brown & Grist, a window manufacturing firm in Newport News, Virginia. He was the second employee hired for two weeks at Christmas as a floor sweeper/janitor when in college and stayed for 35 years becoming Vice President and General Manager and a member of the Board of Directors before retiring and moving to Florida. His second retirement in 1983 followed 10 years of service through the Florida Department of Corrections as a Correctional Officer at Sumter Correctional Institute. Mr. BeVille was a Christian and active member of a Baptist church wherever he lived including North Riverside Baptist, Newport News, Virginia for 17 years. He was a charter member of Ridge Manor First Baptist Church, Ridge Manor, Florida and was currently a member of Dowling Park First Baptist Church. Over the years he has been an active deacon, usher, and Sunday School teacher. He was a Gideon and a Dale Carnegie instructor. His life was a testimony to the power of positive thinking. In his spare time, he enjoyed writing poetry and reading. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Regina Hobbs BeVille, Dowling Park, FL, daughter Sandra (John) Furches of Lake City, a special sister-in-law Ella Fetzer of Charles City, Virginia, nieces, nephews, and countless friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Welford & Doris BeVille and sister Margaret. The family will receive friends 10-11 am Friday at Chapel Hill Mausoleum Chapel with service to follow at 11 am. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Gardens.

Lands, Casey Allen, 24, Zephyrhills, passed away Friday, Feb. 29, 2008. He was born Dec. 13, 1983 in Tampa to Randy McPherson and Louise Landes. He is survived by his parents, Randy McPherson and Louise Landes, Zephyrhills; siblings, Brenda Landes, Corey Landes, Codey Carter, Dylan Taylor, all of Zephyrhills; his grandparents, Albert and Janet Gerard, Lutz, James and Ruby Carter, Thonotosassa; nephew, Nathaniel Hornsby and nieces Zoey and Mackenzie Hornsby; his girlfriend, Kayla Rose and her son, Matthew; several aunts, uncle, cousin and lots of good friends. Visitation will be 4 to 6 pm Thursday in the 54 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home, Zephyrhills. Service will follow at 6 pm.
Berman W. Taylor
Taylor, Berman W. 69, of Dade City passed away Monday, March 3, 2008 at his home. He was born May 24, 1938 in Poplar, TN to Berman and Brooksie Taylor. He worked in the Diesel Industry as a mechanic. He is survived by his beloved wife, Alice Taylor; son, Randy Taylor; daughter, Ouida Taylor; brother, David Taylor and several grandchildren. Visitation will be 5-7 Wednesday, March 5th at Hodges Family Funeral Home, 11441 US Hwy 301 Dade City, Fl. Funeral Services will be Thursday, March 6th at the funeral home with Rev. Keith Reiley, officiating Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Gardens.
