Hutton, Doris M., 84, of Dade City, passed away Friday, February 22, 2008 at her home. She was born May 3, 1923 in Akron, OH, to Elza Daniels and Thelma Halley Daniels. She was a courier for the Pasco News and a Home Economist. She is survived by two sons: Danny C. & Carolyn Smith, Ronald W. Hutton; and her daughter-in-law: Mildred Hall. She was preceded in death by her parents: Elza & Thelma Daniels, one son: Jimmy Kelley, and her sister: Geraldine Beasley. Graveside services will be held 12:30pm Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Friends may call from 10am – 12pm at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home.
Margaret A. "Peggy" Harris
Harris, Margaret A., “Peggy”, 72 Zephyrhills, passed away Friday, Feb. 22, 2008 at Hernando Pasco Hospice, Dade City. She was born Sept. 16, 1935 in Steubenville, OH to John W. and Elizabeth (McCaffrey) Veneman. She moved to Florida in 1995 from Houston, TX and lived in Homosassa until 2005. She was a registered nurse providing loving care her entire adult life. She is survived by her loving husband, Jay C., her children: Beth Reilly, Steven (Brenda) Harris and Bill (JoAnn) Harris, nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers: Jack, Tom and Mike (Cris) Veneman; sisters: Donna Latkiewicz and Jeanne (David) Jones; brother-in-laws: Tom (Jean) and David (Norma) Harris. She was preceded in death by her first husband, John F. Welsh, sons: Sean Patrick, Joseph, James and John Welsh and infant daughter, Harris. In lieu of flowers , donations may be made to Hernando Pasco Hospice, 37439 Clinton, Av., Dade City, FL 33525. The family will receive friends 5 to 7 pm Monday at Hodges Family Funeral Home, Hwy 54 Chapel, Zephyrhills. Funeral Mass will be 10 am Tuesday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Tampa. Burial will be at a later date in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
David S. Hawkins
Hawkins, David S., 80, of Dade City, passed away Thursday, February 21, 2008 in Zephyrhills. He was born January 19, 1928 in Corry, PA, to Ivan E. & Elsie Peterson Hawkins and moved here 8 years ago from Jamestown, NY. He owned and operated several businesses in the Jamestown area including Hilltop Pennzoil, Saveway Auto Service, High Acres Mobile Home Park, Fairdale Mobile Home Park, Clean Car Concepts, and Town and Country RV Resort in Dade City. He was a US Army Veteran having served in Japan and was a member of Pilgram Memorial United Church of Christ in Jamestown, NY and the First Congregational Church in Dade City. He is survived by his wife of 56 years: Joyce M. Hawkins, Dade City, 2 sons: Steve (Mary) Hawkins, Dade City, Christopher (Shane) Hawkins, Bemus Point, NY; 2 daughters: Deborah (Joe) Lounsbury, Asheville, NY, Kathleen (Doug) Shay, Evergreen, CO; 14 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. Funeral services will be held 1pm Monday, February 25, 2008 at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home. Friends may call from 5-7pm Sunday evening at the funeral home. Flowers will be gratefully accepted or those that wish may make donations in his memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Carl Appenfeldt
Appenfeldt, Carl, 79, Zephyrhills, passed away Monday, Feb. 18, 2008 at Gulfside Hospice, Dade City. He was born Jan. 13, 1929 in Watertown, WI the son of Edwin and Lilly Appenfeldt. He was a retired truck driver and mechanic and has lived in Zephyrhills 11 years, moving from Wisconsin. He was a lifetime member of VFW Post #8184, Zephyrhills and of the Catholic Faith. He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Elizabeth Bette on Dec. 8, 2005; a brother, Clarence Appenfeldt and sister, Marion Steulke. He is survived by his children: Barb Oviedo, Union Grove, WI; Bill Appenfeldt, Zephyrhills and Carl Appenfeldt, Jr., Casa Grande, AZ; two sisters, Phyllis Bartz, and Beverly Appenfeldt, both of Watertown, WI; eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Memorial Service will be 11 am Thursday, Feb. 28 at the VFW Post #8154. Graveside services will follow at 2 pm at Florida National Cemetery with military honors.

KLOSTER, Gwendolyn P., 72, of Land O' Lakes, Florida passed away on Friday, February 15th, 2008 at Florida Hospital of Zephyrhills. She was born in Belleville, Alabama, September 22, 1935. She was a former resident of Madison, Alabama, and was employed with General Motors for over thirty years. She joined her daughter and grandchildren in Florida in 2002. She was a devoted mother, mother-in-law and grandmother to Michele K. Hanshaw, Dr. Mark L. Hanshaw, Michael Lee Henderson, and Bailey Loraine Peterson. She is also survived by her brothers, Harold M. Peavey and Douglas J. Peavey, her sister-in-law, Rebecca A. Peavey, and her nieces, Lynn D. Southgate and Anne C. Peavey. She is survived by many loving relatives and friends. Services will be held on Sunday, February 24th, 2008, 12:00 pm, at Christ Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 204 Druid Hills, Temple Terrace, Florida.

Garrett, Curtis, 39, of Zephyrhills, FL, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2008 in Dade City under the care of Hernando-Pasco Hospice. He was born May 15, 1968 in Dearborn, MI, to Clayton & Ceil Garrett. He moved to Zephyrhills 14 years ago from Champaign, IL. He was a Benefits Orientation Specialist and a Jehovah Witness He is survived by his loving wife and friend of 20 years, Sherie Garrett; his children, Lucas Garrett and Christie Garrett; mother, Ceil Garrett; father, Clayton & Linda Garrett; siblings, Cindi Garrett, Cathi Connors, Clint & Carole Garrett, Joy Kitson; grandmother, Esther Chase; aunt, Dorann Cloud; and cousin, Christopher Cloud. Memorial services will be held 6pm Saturday, February 23, 2008 at the 301 Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City. The family will receive friends from 4-6pm at the funeral home. His love of life as well as his deep commitment to family and friends was admired by all who knew him. Above all, his love for Jehovah God was the driving force in his life. Wagoner, Lillian E, 80, of Oaks Royal III, Zephyrhills, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2008. She was born December 8, 1927, in Akron, OH to Wesley and Christine Smith. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Robert O. Wagoner; her children: Ginny (Darrel) Sibley, Lutz, Richard (Cheri) Wagoner, Zephyrhills, Cynthia Wagoner, Zephyrhills, Robert D. (Theresa) Wagoner, Lithia; two sister, Rosemary West and Kathleen Martin, both of Ohio: 5 grandchildren: Tim, Vanessa, Nikki, Candace and Terri; great grandchildren: Jacob, Ryan and Anthony. Memorial services will be 7 pm Thursday, May 29 at Hodges Family Funeral Home, 36327 Hwy 54, Zephyrhills. Memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.

Williams, Thomas A., 25, of Dade City, died Friday, May 23, 2008 at home. A life long area resident, he was a 2002 graduate of Pasco High School. Survivors include his father, Ronnie Williams, Sr. and his mother Barbie Holmes Williams, of Dade City; two brothers, Ronnie Williams, Jr. and Noah Williams, both of Dade City; his paternal grandparents, Edward and Louise Williams of San Antonio; his maternal grandmother, Marie Key of North Carolina; his girlfriend, Jennifer Nivins of Homosassa; numerous aunts and uncles; three nieces, Katelyn, Lindsey, and Cayden; and a nephew, Noah, Jr. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at the funeral home with Rev. Eldridge Parrish officiating. Burial will follow at Dade City Cemetery.

He was born March 24, 1923 in Louisville, KY to Harry and Lorraine Thompson Donahue and moved to Ridge Manor 20 years ago from Buffalo, NY. He was a retired chemist from the dye manufacturing industry and a Catholic. He is survived by his wife: Ann L. Donahue, Ridge Manor, FL; three children: Suzann & John Landphair, Virginia Beach, VA, Phillip Donahue, East Aurora, NY, Becki & Gary Dalton, Panama; one sister: Joan Daugherty, Louisville, KY; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild. A memorial gathering will be held Sunday May 25, 2008 from 2-4pm at the 301 Chapel of Hodge Family Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Chapel Hill Gardens Serenity Mausoleum.
