Fullington, Lyle, 85, of Dade City, died July 16, 2002 at Pasco Regional Medical Center. A native of New York, he came to this area in 1979 from Syracuse. He was a retired credit manager for Magnavox and was Methodist.
Survivors include his wife, Betty; two sons, Thomas of Mt. Vernon, Ohio and Terry of Dallas, Oregon; a daughter, Sally Cienava of Oswego, NY; and seven grandchildren.
The family has elected to have no local services.
Marie Carpenter
CARPENTER, Marie, 64, of Trilacoochee, died July 15, 2002 at Tampa General Hospital. A native of Trilacoochee, she was a Homemaker and Air Force Wife, having lived in Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Nebraska, England, Guam and the Philippines. Marie and her husband returned to Trilacoochee in 1977.
Survivors include her husband, G. Roger Carpenter, of Trilacoochee; a son, George R. Carpenter, Jr. of Webster; three daughters, Debbie Shirer of Trilacoochee and The Twins, Terry Amburger and Sherry Hattaway, both of Dade City; a sister, Sylvia Whitten of Brooksville; and nine grandchildren.
The family received friends from 6-8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 19, 2002 at the funeral home. Funeral Services was held in the chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2002 with Reverend Marvin Strickland officiating.
David Eric Rhoden
RHODEN, David, 24, of Dade City, died July 14, 2002. Survivors include his parents, Henry and Sandra Rhoden of Dade City; a sister, Pamela Rhoden of Dade City; a brother, William Rhoden and his wife, Rose, and his best friend, Robert Page, all of Sun Prairie, Wisc.; a half brother, Tommy Rhoden of New Port Richey; three half sisters, Diane Lee, Betty Sue Sparks, and Arlene Gough, all of Dade City; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
The family received friends at the funeral home from 5-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17, 2002. Funeral Services were held in the chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 18, 2002 with Pastor Randall Belcher officiating.
Theodore Konnick
KONNICK, Theodore A., 74, of Zephyrhills, passed away on July 11, 2002 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Center. He is survived by 3 daughters: Sharon Kunkelman, Zephyrhills, FL, Cheryl Banning, Bradenton, FL, Eileen Austin, St. Petersburg, FL; 1 brother: Richard Konnick, Shillington, PA; and 3 grandchildren. He was a retired Maintenance Mechanic, a member of the Zephyrhills Moose Lodge, and was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Kimberly Hannah Payne
Payne, Kimberly Hannah, 44, of Dade City, FL, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2002 at her home. She was a Homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Dade City where she was active in the sanctuary choir. She also served as a volunteer at the East Pasco Medical Center and the San Antonio Elementary School.
She is survived by her husband: Alan Geoffrey Payne, San Antonio, FL; 2 daughters: Kristian Hannah Payne, Temple Terrace, FL, Whitney Brooke Payne, San Antonio, FL; 2 brothers: Jeffrey Paul Gerken and Todd Gilbert Gerken, both of Fairmont, WV; and 1 sister: Jenette Jo Yost, Fairmont, WV.
Memorial services wiere held 10am Saturday, July 13, 2002 at the Hodges Family Funeral Home with Rev. W. Bruce Moore officiating.

Lamont Lee Simpson, II
SIMPSON, Lamont Lee II, infant son of Lamont Simpson, Sr. and Miranda Cloud, died Friday, July 5, 2002 at home.
Survivors include his parents, Lamont Simpson and Miranda Cloud of Lacoochee; a half brother, Casey Birchenfield of Zephyrhills; his maternal grandmother, Brenda Cloud and her companion, "Gandy" Tim of Lacoochee; his paternal grandparents, Deloris Garafano and Ken Watts of Hernando County; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral Services were held in the chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 11, 2002. The family received friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 5-7:00 p.m.
Wesley A. Johnson
JOHNSON, Wesley A., "Pa Paw" 72, of Center Hill, formerly of Dade City, died July 3, 2002 in Jacksonville. A native of Wilmington, Del., he was a long resident of this area.
Survivors include a daughter, Sherri Allbritton and a grandson, James Allbritton, Jr., both of Center Hill; four brothers, William D., Myers R., Richard L. and John W. Johnson, all of Delaware; and two sisters, Jane E. Riggins of Delaware and Libby Hastings of Maryland. He was predeceased by a sister, Norma Hastings.
The family received friends at the funeral home from 12 until 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 7, 2002.
Carroll Pennington
Carroll B. Pennington, 75, of Dade City, died Monday, September 30th, 2002 at home. A native of Speedwell, Virginia, he moved to this area in 1960. He was a retired truck driver and was an outside salesman for Scotty's.
Survivors include his wife, Rose; two sons, Greg Pennington of Dade City and Kurt Pennington of Virginia; a daughter, Delores Trivitt of Parklow, of Virginia; three sisters, Katheleen Crigger of Rural Retreat, Virginia, Edith Bateman of Charlottesville, Virginia and Adah Umberger of Wytheville, Virginia; and five grandchildren, including Brandon and Lindsey Pennington of Dade City.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8:00 PM on Thursday, October 3rd, 2002. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 4th, 2002 at the First United Methodist Church in Dade City with Dr. James Renault officiating. Burial will follow at Florida National Cemetery.

Jesus Martin Arellarano, infant son of Alicia Andrade, died Monday, September 30th, 2002 at Arnold Palmer Hosptial in Orlando. Arrangements are pending.
George B. Baker
BAKER, George B., 73, of Vero Beach, formerly of Zephyrhills, died on Saturday, Sept. 28, 2002 in Vero Beach, Fla., following a long courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis. He was born on Nov. 17, 1928 in Greenwich, N.Y., and was the son of the late George and Mary (Searles) Baker. Mr. Baker was known to place his family and friends first above his illness. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps as a Corporal during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Baker received many awards from the Woodlands Middle School in Zephyrhills, Fla., for his volunteer work as a mentor for disabled children. He worked for Nibco in South Glens Falls for over 20 years and as a custodian in the Lake George School District for several years. He was the owner-operator of Bakers Pine Terrence Motel in the town of Lake George.
Survivors include his four sons, George R. Baker and his wife Karen of Sumter, S.C., Bruce K. Baker and his wife Joan of South Glens Falls, James B. Baker of Vero Beach, Fla., andSteven D. Baker of Peru, Neb. He is also survived by three grandchildrn, Georgie and Jeremy Baker of South Carolina, and Katharine (Katie) Baker of South Glens Falls; one great-grandson, Justin Baker; a brother, Arnold Baker and his wife Donna of South Glens Falls and two nephews, Larry and Thomas Baker of South Glens Falls.
