BUCEY, Dorothy E., 88, of Zephyrhills, died Tuesday, November 24, 2003 at Sunbelt Health Care Center in Zephyrhills. She moved here in 1967 from her native Stubenville, Ohio. She was a homemaker and was a member of Eastern Star.
Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Harry; a daughter, Shirley Johnston of Strongsville, Ohio, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Carol Hines.
Graveside funeral services were held on Friday, November 28, 2003 at Florida National Cemetery with Rev. Frank Cahill officiating. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2003 at Sunbelt Health Care Center Chapel in Zephyrhills.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or American Cancer Society.
Jessie B. Potts
POTTS, Jessie B. 48, of Largo, FL, passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2003 at the Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Center in Dade City. He was an engineer for Raytheon. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and playing the drums. Jessie was loved by his family and will be missed.
He is survived by his parents: Clovis & Carolyn Potts; his sister: Linda Potts; his sister & brother-in-law: Jennifer & Gary Storts; and his beloved nephew: Shawn Storts.
A memorial services was held 4pm Saturday, November 29, 2003 at Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City.
David Johnson
JOHNSON, David Lee, 58, of Dade City, FL, passed away Monday, November 24, 2003 at the Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Center in Dade City. He worked for Multi-Line Can Co. in Dade City for many years and was an Air Force Veteran.
He is survived by 2 daughters: Tina Mihalakis, Port Charlotte, FL, Jade Schuler, Fort Meade, MD; 1 son: Michael Johnson, Lacoochee, FL; 5 grandchildren: Scott, Collins, Nicole Johnson, Matthew Johnson, Alexandra Mihalakis, and Alexa Schuler.

Leonard Ludovico
LUDOVICO, Leonard, 35, of Zephyrhills, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 22nd, 2003. Formerly of New Jersey, he worked for On-Site. He loved cooking, his boys and his family.
He is survived by two sons, Anthony and Nicholas; his mother, Estelle; a brother George and his wife, Linda of New Jersey; and his sister, Linda Burnett and her husband, James of San Antonio.
Joseph Cise
Cise, Joseph, 77, of Tampa, formerly of Summit, NJ, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2003 at home with his loving wife of 49 years and his three daughters at his side. A native of Bayonne, New Jersey, he moved to this area in 1996. He was a US Navy Veteran of WWII and was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in San Antonio. He retired in 1990 as a precision tool maker after 39 years of employment for ATT/Bell Labs.
Survivors include his wife, Maria; three daughters, Karen Flaherty and her husband, Jude of Glen Ridge, NJ, Ellen Mejias and her husband, Ed of Land 'O Lakes and Joanne Jacobs and her husband, Allen of Summit, NJ; three sons, Mark Cise and his wife, Beverly of Summit, NJ, John Cise of Tucson, Arizona and Philip Cise and his wife, Joanne of Long Valley, NJ; and ten grandchildren.
Rosa Williams
WILLIAMS, Rosa Lee, 69, of Dade City, passed away November 19, 2003. She was born in Georgia and moved to Dade City in 1969. She is survived by her mother, Laura Miller of Pine View, GA; three sons, Arthur Lee Butler of Atlanta, GA, Clyde Butler and his wife, Deborah, and Curtis Butler, both of Dade City; two daughters, Virginia R. Butler and Janice Butler, both of Tampa; thirteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; a brother, Sgt. Willie Johnson and his wife, Violet of California City, CA; a sister and best friend, Mrs. Ida Mae Graham of Dade City; long time companion, Charley Harmon of Dade City; a Goddaughter, Quietta O'Neal of Dade City, a Godson, Lenwood Tucker of Dade City who preceded her in death; and a host of nieces, nephews, and sorrowing friends.
Homegoing celebration was held on Saturday, November 29th, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home. The family received friends at the funeral home from 6-8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 28th, 2003. Burial wasat Dade City Cemetery.
Steve Martin
MARTIN, Stephen C., 55, of Zephyrhills, FL, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2003 in Tampa, FL.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years: Debra Martin, Zephyrhills, FL; his father: Norman J. Martin, Ashland, ME; he sister: Margaret Levesque, Mars Hill, ME; and many other family members.
He was born June 2, 1948 in Washburn, ME, and moved to Zephyrhills 6 years ago from Temple Terrace, FL. He was a Parts Director for Nortrax, first in their Tampa office and then in their Wesley Chapel office. He was an Army Veteran and an avid golfer.
Private family services will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in his name to the Babe & George Zaharias Foundation.
Robert D. Turcott
TURCOTT, Robert D., 82, of Dade City, died Monday, November 17, 2003 at Pasco Regional Medical Center. A native of Concord, New Hampshire, he moved to Traveler's Rest in 1977. During WWII, he was a ball turret gunner on a B-17 for the Eighth Air Force in England and received the Purple Heart and the Enlisted Air Medal. He was a retired business owner.
Survivors include a half sister, Christine Bills of Readsboro, Vermont; and two nieces, Shirley Davidson of Fort Worth, Texas and Roseanne Kenyon of Keene, New Hampshire.
James T. "Tom" Murphy, Jr.
MURPHY, James T., Jr. "Tom" 80, of Ridge Manor and Indian Shores died November 15th, 2003. Born in Providence, Rhode Island, he was the son of the late James T. Murphy, Sr., and Susan (Casey) Murphy. He lived in Pawtucket and Greenville, Rhode Island before moving to Florida in 1988. He was an army veteran of WWII, serving in the European-African-Middle Eastern Theater. He received a B.S. from Providence College in 1949.
He is survived by his wife, Beatrice (Hirt) Murphy, his daughters, Elizabeth (Betty) Conner (husband Douglas) and Suki Murphy-Thomas (husband Michael Thomas), both of Tampa and his son, James T. Murphy III (wife Lisa) of Greenville, R.I. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary E. Keough and his brothers, Francis R. Murphy and Joseph A. Murphy. He is survived by his sisters Elizabeth M. Kelley of Green Hill, R.I. and Irene F. Franzen of Hooksett, N.H. and Dade City and his brother John J. Murphy of W. Springfield, MA and seven grandchildren, Kelly and Allison Conner, Benjamin and Jacob Thomas, Jessica Thomas Belser, James T. Murphy IV and Michael Murphy.
Interment was at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. A memorial mass was held in Tampa at Christ the King Church on Saturday, November 22nd at 12:00 NOON. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hernando-Pasco Hospice, Inc., 7066 Ft. King Road, Zephyrhills, FL 33541.
Jodie Marie Edwards
EDWARDS, Jodie Marie, 36, of Dade City, FL, passed away Friday, November 14, 2003 in Dade City. She was born January 26, 1967 in Fort Myers, KY, to David Clair Edwards and July Marie Moran. She moved to the Dade City area 23 years ago from Butler, KY. She attended Pasco High School where she graduated in 1985.
She is survived by her daughter: Lily Edwards, Dade City; her mother: Judy M. Edwards, Dade City; her sister Dana Edwards; her nephew: David Edwards; her grandmothers, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services were held 2pm Tuesday, November 18, 2003, at Hodges Family Funeral Home with Rev. Stephen J. Walding officiating. Burial followed at William Cemetery. Friends called from 5-7pm Monday (tomorrow) at the funeral home.
