Jesse Arthur Miller
Miller, Jesse Arthur, 78, of Zephyrhills, FL, passed away Saturday, February 19, 2005 in Dade City under the care of Gulfside Regional Hospice. He was born September 5, 1926 in Okmulgee, OK, to Jonathon Seymour Miller and Maymie Barton Miller. He retired as a Major from the US Air Force and moved to Zephyrhills 14 years ago from Guymon, OK.
He is survived by his wife: Shelby Miller, Zephyrhills, FL; 1 step-daughter: Karen Wimberley, Taiwan; 2 step-sons: James Edkin, Seattle, WA, Brian Edkin, Milford, MI; 2 sisters: Kitty Gaither and Madge Miller, both of Marietta, OK; several nieces and nephews including: Ronald Willis, Donna Martin, and Bobby Willis; and 11 grandchildren.
Graveside services were held 10am Tuesday, March 1, 2005 at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.

Pat Bunker Rozar
ROZAR, Pat B., 71, of Dade City, died Friday, February 18, 2005 at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Center. A native of Damariscotta, Maine, she was a long time resident of this area. She was a retired Administrative Assistant at the University of South Florida New College in Sarasota, and was a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Dade City. A loving wife, mother and friend, she will be missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Luther; two sons, Robert Bruce Rozar and his wife, Lynette of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina and Keith Andrew Rozar and his wife, Marianne of Whitefish, Montana; a daughter, Amy Melissa Rozar Greene and her husband, Jeff of Sarasota, Florida; seven grandchildren, Christopher Rozar, Sarah Rozar and Gregory Rozar, all of Mt. Pleasant, Janna Rozar and Rebecca Rozar, both of Whitefish, and Michael Greene and Daniel Greene, both of Sarasota; and three brothers, John Bunker and his wife, Diane of Jacksonville, Florida, Paul Bunker and his wife, Helena of Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania and Peter Bunker of Laughlin, Nevada.
The family received friends at the funeral home from 4-6:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 20, 2005. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 21, 2005 at St. Mary's Episcopal Church with Father Douglas Zimmerman officiating. Burial followed at Garden of Memories Cemetery in San Antonio.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to either East Pasco Habitat for Humanity or Hernando-Pasco Hospice.

Andres Hernandez
HERNANDEZ, Andres, 76, of Dade City passed away Friday, February 18, 2005 in Dade City under the care of Gulfside Regional Hospice. He was born March 1, 1928 in Tampico, Tamaulipas, Mexico, to Antonio Hernandez and Severa Guevara Hernandez. He moved to Dade City 17 years ago from Mexico and was active with the Church of God.
He is survived by his wife: Margarita Gomez Hernandez, Dade City, FL; 6 children: Albertina Valdez, Gonzalo Hernandez, Marcelo Hernandez, Antonio Hernandez, Maria de Los Angeles Hernandez, all of Dade City, FL, Rosalinda Hernandez, Zephyrhills, FL; 6 sisters: Amada Hernandez, Alejandrina Gamez, Matilde Ramirez, all of Mexico, Clotilde Villarreal and Elvia Azua, both of Dade City, FL, Maria Hernandez, Brownsville, TX; 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held 1pm Tuesday, February 22, 2005 at Hodges Family Funeral Home in Dade City. Burial will follow at Dade City Cemetery. Friends called from 5-7:30pm Monday at the funeral home.

Frances M. O'Connor
O'CONNOR, Frances M., 77, of San Antonio, Fl, died Monday, February 14, 2005 at Pasco Regional Medical Center. A native of New York City, she moved to Florida in 1983 and to San Antonio in 1999. She was a Chemistry, Math, Biology and Earth Science Teacher in both Farmingdale, NY and East Brunswick, NJ and retired from the Tampa Bay School System in 1997 after teaching at East Bay High School. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and was previously active at Tampa Bay Golf and Country Club in the 1st Responder's Club, the Quilting Club and the Bridge Club. A loving wife, mother and friend, she will be truly missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Walter; three sons, James O'Connor of Longwood, FL and Robert O'Connor and William O'Connor, both of Saratoga Springs, NY; a daughter, Maureen Oudt of Palm Coast, FL; a sister, Gladys Hanratty of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
The family received friends from 6-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 16, 2005 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in San Antonio. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 17, 2005 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with Father Henry Riffle as celebrant. Burial followed at Florida National Cemetery.

Albert Zdrojewski
ZDROJEWSKI, Albert "Ski", 59, of Dade City, died Sunday, February 13, 2005 at home. A native of Detroit, Michigan, he moved to this area in 1982. He was a Retired Pasco County Deputy Sheriff (1994) and was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church of Padua in San Antonio.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Emily; four sons, Brian Zdrojewski and his wife, Michele, of Dade City, Mark Zdrojewski and his wife, Kathrine of Tallahassee, Kenneth Zdrojewski and his fiancé, Audra Stephens of Dade City, and John Zdrojewski and his wife, Erin of Ridge Manor; three sisters, Maryann Dziewit of Detroit, Frances Nieckarz of Detroit and Kathleen Martin of Bushnell; two brothers, Frank Zdrojewski and Ronald Zdrojewski, both of Detroit; two grandchildren, Sarakate and Ryan (who is due to arrive at Easter); and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family received friends from 6-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 16, 2005 at the funeral home; and on Thursday, February 17, 2005 from 6-8:00 p.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 18, 2005 at St. Anthony Catholic Church with Father Henry Riffle as celebrant. Burial followed at St. Anthony Cemetery in San Antonio.

Raymond M. Kirkland
Kirkland, Raymond M., 80, of San Antonio, Florida, died Friday, February 11, 2005 at James A. Haley Veteran’s Hospital in Tampa. Born on September 3, 1924 in Jacksonville, Florida, he grew up in Lakeland, Florida and graduated from Lakeland High School before joining the Army in March 1943. Raymond served as a rifleman with the 35th Infantry Division during his “walking tour of Europe” and participated in the Normandy Invasion, the Campaign of Northern France, and the Ardennes and Rhineland Campaigns. He was awarded the Silver Star for action during the Battle of St. Lo. He earned the Distinguished Service Cross for gallantry in combat while leading his unit across the Saar River from France and into Germany. During the Battle of the Bulge, Raymond was part of Patton’s push to squeeze off the Germans and relieve the 101st Airborne at Bastogne. He was also awarded a Bronze Star for bravery in action. In their 50th Anniversary Celebration in 1995, the people of Zetting, France honored Raymond as being the first GI to arrive in their “deliverance from the Nazis following their four long years of brutal occupation.” After WWII, Raymond returned to Central Florida with the dream of being a Florida cowboy. In 1949, he partnered with his father, Cicero Kirkland, and bought a section of woods in Pasco County just south of San Antonio, Florida that he cleared and planted to make Kirkland Ranch. From that time on, the ranch always remained close to his heart. In 1950, Raymond married Mary Ann Kieselbach in Lakeland and she joined him in their little house out in the woods. Between 1950 and 1960, he became active in the citrus industry, and in 1961 he began work for Pasco Packing Company and moved to Leesburg, Florida. Raymond was a well-known figure in the industry throughout Central Florida, but in 1970 he moved his family back to Kirkland Ranch where he loved to be.
Raymond’s survivors include his beloved wife of 55 years, Mary Ann; a son, Richard Kirkland of Sebastian, Florida; two daughters, Laura Kirkland of San Antonio and Betsy Kirkland Denney of San Antonio; nine grandchildren: Robert, Anna Jean, Eric, Grady, Kyle, Stephanie, Ryan, Raymond, and Sarah; a brother, Jack Kirkland of Wesley Chapel; two sisters, Betsy Holloway of Wesley Chapel and Anna Kirkland of San Antonio.
Funeral services was held at 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 17, 2005 in the Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home with Father Douglas Zimmerman officiating. The family received friends two hours prior to the service from 6-8:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 17, 2005. Burial will follow at Arlington National Cemetery.

Georgia Mae Cross
CROSS, Georgia Mae, 78, of Dade City, died Friday, February 11, 2005 at home. A native of Mineola, Florida, she moved to this area in 1969 from Blitchton, Florida. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, J.D. Cross; three sons, Ernest "Jr." Kirk of Ocala, Lonnie Kirk of Zephyrhills and Dean Kirk of Bainbridge, Georgia; three daughters, Carolyn Collins of Dade City, Helen Parrish of Rocksville, Georgia and Louise Kirk of Panama City; two sisters, Virginia Harville of Groveland and Evelyn Baca of Las Vegas, Nevada; twelve grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
The family received friends at the funeral home from 5-7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 14, 2005. Funeral services were held in the chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 15, 2005. Burial followed at Pine Level Cemetery in Oxford.

Alan Charles Parker
PARKER, Alan C., 63, of Ridge Manor, died Thursday, February 10, 2005 at home. Arrangements are private.

Robert E. Trainor
Trainor, Robert E., 79, of Lutz, FL, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2005 at his home. He was born March 30, 1925 in Attleboro, MA, to John M. Trainor and Marcella Suprenant Trainor. He had worked as a shipping clerk in the groceries industry and had served in the US Army Air Force. He moved to Lutz 10 years ago from Tampa, FL.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years: Marcia Trainor, Lutz, FL; 2 daughters: Susan & Tyrus Davis, and Betty & Andrew Burbage, all of Land O’Lakes, FL; 4 grandchildren: Michele & Hector Diaz, Naples, FL, Kelly & Eric Nelsestuen, Wesley Chapel, FL, Christina Davis, Land O’Lakes, FL, Brittany Davis, Land O’Lakes, FL; 2 great grandchildren: Hector Diaz and Marissa Diaz, both of Naples, FL; 1 sister: Beverly & Louis Colombo, Sarasota, FL; 2 brothers: Donald & Helene Trainor, Attleboro, MA; and Richard Trainor, Attleboro, MA.
Graveside services were held 10am Monday, February 14, 2005 at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. Friends called from 5-7pm Sunday at Hodges Family Funeral Home & Cremation Center (formerly Kelly Memorial Funeral Home) in Zephyrhills.
