HEALD, Elaine, of Dade City, died Monday, March 21, 2005 in St. Petersburg. Arrangements are pending.

Willa Dean King
KING, Willa Dean, 68, of Dade City, died Saturday, March 19, 2995 at East Pasco Medical Center. A native of Pike county, Kentucky, she was a winter resident of this area. She retired in 1999 from AVIS Corporation.
Survivors include her husband, Phillip Marion King; three sons, Darrell Lee Boyd of La Fontaine, Indiana, Dale F. Boyd of Hartford City, Indiana and David A Boyd of Hartford City; eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in Hartford City, Indiana.

James C. Blair
BLAIR, James, C., 67, of Dade City, died Friday, March 18, 2005 at home. A native of Donalsonville, Georgia, he was a retired Agricultural Inspector. He is survived by his wife, Ereuana. Funeral services will take place in Iron City, Georgia.

Helen Jones
Jones, Helen, 64, died January 5, 2006 at her residence in Zephyrhills. She was born in Conway, South Carolina and lived most of her life in Brooklyn, NY and Brentwood, Long Island. She worked as an Executive in the Pharmaceutical field. Prior to moving to this area in May of 2005, she was a dedicated member of Smithtown Gospel Tabernacle Church of Long Island. Survivors include her husband Cornelius E. Jones, two daughters, Dina Clarke, Brooklyn NY and Jennifer Jones of Zephyrhills, one son, Joseph Tucker, Springhill, FL, a sister Alice Johnson, Brooklyn, NY, a brother James McFadden, Newark, NJ; nine grandchildren and a host of loving friends. A viewing will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 AM on January 9, 2005 at Hodges Family Funeral Home on 54 in Zephyrhills followed by a service at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at Florida National Cemetery at 2:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, you may send donations to Hernando-Pasco Hospice or East Pasco Medical Center.

Berniece E. McIlhattan
McIlhattan, Berniece E., 92, of Spencer, WI, and Zephyrhills, FL, died Monday, January 2, 2006 in Dekalb, IL. She was born March 9, 1913 in rural Spencer, the daughter of Herman and Sabina (Hoops) Mellenthin. She married Lowell McIlhattan on July 21, 1939 in Spencer. She and her husband owned several hardware stores for many years. She is survived by 2 sisters: Marcella & Lester Smith, Ripon, WI, Doris & Merlin Schultz, Sycamore, IL; 1 brother: Norbert Mellenthin, Omro, WI; many nieces, nephews, and a special friend: Arlene Gehrke of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father Harry Graham, husband in 1998, and 1 sister, Lucillia Klubertanz in 2005. Graveside services will be held 2pm Monday, January 9, 2006 at Floral Memory Gardens in Dade City. A memorial fund is established for Alzheimer’s Research Funding in care of Quiram-Sycamore Funeral Home, 1245 Somonauk Street, Sycamore, IL 60178.

Delores L. Biddinger
Biddinger, Dolores L., 80 years of Hudson, Florida, passed away Wednesday, January 04, 2006 at her home. She has lived in Florida the past 12 years, moving from Michigan. She was born July 14, 1925 in Detroit, Michigan the daughter of Thomas and Ida Gidley. She was married to Allen Biddinger on August 11, 1945m in Oakland County, Michigan. He preceded her in death on June 7, 2001. She was confirmed to the Catholic Faith in 1991 and was a Eucharist Minister for many years. She is survived by her son, Thomas Biddinger, Hudson; a sister, Beverly Fetting, Hudson; nieces, Karen Porter, Nancy Stewart and Julie Ryther, all of Hudson; great nieces, Jill Ryther and Suzanne Hamilton and great nephews, Andy Porter and Danny Shute. A Memorial Funeral Mass will be held 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 10, 2006 at Immaculate Conception Old Roman Catholic Church, 8531 Bolton Ave., Hudson with Father Maurice Manton celebrating.. Inurnment will be 2:30 PM Monday, January 9 at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell with her son, Thomas and Father Manton officiating. Memorial contributions to Gulfside Regional Hospice, 6117 Trouble Creek Rd., New Port Richey, Florida 33653 or to the Immaculate Conception Old Roman Catholic Church, 8531 Bolton Ave., Hudson, 34667 would be appreciated.

Dorothy M. "Dottie" Jones
JONES, Dorothy M., "Dottie", 76, of Tampa, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 3, 2006. She moved to this area in 1955 from her native Lincolnton, GA. She was a homemaker and a member of Northgate Baptist Church. Survivors include her children, Terry Jones (Linda) of Tampa, Allen Jones (JoAnn) of Seffner and Faye Jones of Tampa; two sisters, Joyce Lindsey and Linda Dillashaw of Lincolnton; eight grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2006 with Pastor Roger Odle officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Elise J. Butler
BUTLER, Elise J., 70, of San Antonio, died Sunday, January 1, 2006 at home. She moved to this area in 1975 from her native New Orleans, Louisiana where she was the Assistant Base Manager for Pan American Airways. She was the Co-Owner of All Aboard Travel established in Dade City in 1981. She retired in 2002. She was an active member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church where she was a member of the alter guild. Survivors include several nieces and nephews in the New Orleans area and numerous cousins from Mississippi; and her business partner, companion, and friend, Betty Thompson of San Antonio. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2006 at St. Mary's Episcopal Church with Father Douglas Zimmerman officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to St. Mary's Episcopal Church.

Mary Jewel Bishop
Bishop, Mary Jewel, 100, of Dade City, FL, passed away Monday, January 2, 2006 at Heritage Park Care Center in Dade City. She was born March 16, 1905 in Rydal, GA, to James Henry Turner and Leila Melissa Nally Turner. She was a retail sales clerk in a variety store before moving to this area 50 years ago. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lacoochee where she taught Sunday School till she was 95 years old. She is survived by her stepson: Billy Mack & Martha Bishop, Purvis, MS; 3 granddaughters: Cindy Rouse, Andrea Rouse Parker, April Rouse; 1 great granddaughter: Kelly Parker; numerous nieces, nephews and friends; and a special caretaker: Margie Porter. Graveside services will be held 11am Thursday, January 5, 2006 at Chapel Hill Gardens with Rev. Eldridge Parrish officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to service time from 10am till 11am, Thursday morning, at Hodges Family Funeral Home Hwy 301 Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in her memory to a charity of your choice.

Maxine Turner
Turner, Maxine, 76, of Dade City, FL, passed away Monday, January 2, 2006 at her home. She was born May 31, 1929 in Hensley, KY, to Squire Lovins and Sophie Bowling Lovins. She was retired from the Trucking Industry and was active with the New Testament Church of God. She was very dedicated to, and active with, the Christmas Dinner for the Homeless. She is survived by 2 sisters: Lola Hall and Nancy Mounce, both of Kentucky; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her Loving Husband Emery. Funeral services will be held 12pm, Wednesday, January 4, 2006 at Hodges Family Funeral Home Hwy 301 chapel in Dade City. Friends may call two hours prior to service time, from 10am till 12pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Gardens Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband.

Phillip Fredrich Zepp, Jr.
ZEPP, Phillip Fredrick, Jr. 82, of Ridge Manor, died Saturday, December 31, 2005 at Pasco Regional Medical Center. A native of Granite, Maryland, he came here eight years ago from Middleburg, Maryland. He was a retired construction worker and was a member of the Granite Presbyterian Church in Baltimore County, Maryland, a Life member of the VFW and American Legion as well as a member of the Ridge Manor Property Owner's Association. He is survived by his wife , Dorothy Hess-Zepp; a daughter, Patricia Derus of Perry Hall, Maryland; two stepsons, Kent (Beth) Blough of Birmingham, Alabama and Allan (Anita) Hess of Middleburg, Maryland; six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2005 at First Baptist Church of Ridge Manor with Rev. Art Sanborn officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to the First Baptist Church of Ridge Manor. Interment will be in Lorraine Park Cemetery in Woodlawn, Maryland.

Kenneth J. Getz
GETZ, Kenneth J., 73 of Zephyrhills, Florida passed away Saturday, December 31, 2005 at East Pasco Medical Center. Mr. Getz was born May 22, 1932 in Rochester, Pennsylvania, and was a retired auto mechanic. He is survived by his wife, Tina Getz of Zephyrhills, FL; two daughters, Audrey Mike of Aliquippa, PA and Valerie Wilson of Tampa, FL; two sisters, Audrey Regile of Aliquippa, PA and Betty Lacey of Beaver, PA; and numerous grandchildren.
