Sharon Adams
Adams, Sharon, 62, of Dade City left this life on Saturday, January 29, 2006. Ms. Adams was born in Baltimore, Maryland on January 29, 1943 to loving parents Albert and Anna Adamitis. Ms. Adams moved to Dade City nine months ago and lived with her mother and sister at The Highlands at Scotland Yards. She worked as a graphic designer and in her free time loved to read, write, and attend the theatre. Ms. Adams is survived by her mother Anna Adamitis, her sister Shirly Smith, and her brother Albert Adamitis. A visitation will be held on Tuesday afternoon, January 31 from 3 until 5pm with services immediately following. Services will be held at Hodges Family Funeral Home, 11441 US Hwy 301, Dade City.
Verna Messenger
Messenger, Verna, 71, of San Antonio left this life on January 28, 2006. Mrs. Messenger was born in Peru, Indiana on May 18, 1934 to parents Vernon and Edith Palmer. Mrs. Messenger graduated from the South Bend Memorial Hospital School of Nursing and worked as a registered nurse. In her spare time she was an avid golfer and the choir director at the San Antonio Community United Methodist Church. Mrs Messenger is survived by her loving husband of 50 years Dick Messenger, her sister Dorothy Keim, of Syracuse, Indiana, her five sons Richard Jr. of Mishawaka, Indiana, Robert of Floral City, Florida, Mark of Northglenn, Colorado, Michael of Land O Lakes, and James of Ocala, as well as six daughter-in-laws. Mrs. Messenger was a loving grandmother to fourteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held in her honor on Tuesday January 3, 2006 at the San Antonio Community United Methodist Church at 2:00 pm. In leiu of flowers memorials can be sent to Hernando-Pasco Hospice and the San Antonio Community United Methodist Church building fund.
John Herman Beaulieu
Beaulieu, John Herman, 69, of Zephyrhills, Florida, died Saturday, January, 28, 2006 at Hospice Care Center. He was born February 20, 1936 in Ft. Kent, Maine. John was a veteran and served in the Marines. He was a contractor and a member of the Masons and Shiners. He enjoyed his boat! He loved fishing and he loved sharing the fish he caught with the neighbors. He is survived by his wife Joy Beaulieu, four daughters, Katlin Johnson, Annette Fecteau, Juanita Mohn and Joanne Tenney, and 12 grandchildren, Shawn Johnson, Laura Johnson, Meghan Johnson, Jason Fecteau, Natasha Fecteau, Amanda Mohn, Brandon Mohn, Justin Mohn, Zachery Mohn, Shannae Carroll, Shannon Carroll and Krysta Tenney. He was preceded by his son Donald Beaulieu. A Memorial Service will be held in Maine in the spring.

Data, Eleanore Tillie, 81, of Thonotosassa, died January 31, 2006. She was born February 24, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois. She is survived by her husband, John Data, Daughter Laura Hoff and son Edward M. Hoff both of Chicago, two grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and a sister Louise Polz of LaGrange, IL She will be missed.
Rosa A. Gramajo
Gramajo, Rosa A., 70, of Zephyrhills, Florida died Saturday, January 28, 2006 at Heartland after a brief illness. She was born September 15, 1935 in Guehuetenango, Guatemala. She moved here from Queens, NY. She was a member of Iglesia de Dios and church was #1 in her life - witnessing, reading her Bible and singing. She loved gardening and sewing. Rosa is survived by her husband, Efrain R. Gramajo, Zephyrhills, a daughter Carolina Gramajo Ponce WC., FL, a son, Cesar Gramajo, four granddaughters, Rosa Doctor, Keila Acevedo, Jessica Gramajo and Jennifer Gramajo,one grandson, Mario Ponce one great granddaughter, Daniella Ponce and one great grandson, Nathaniel Barber. A viewing will be held at Hodges Family Funeral Home on 54 Tuesday, January 31, 2006 from 7:00 – 9:00 PM. Services will be held at Chapel Hill Gardens Wednesday, February 1, 2006 at 10:00 AM. Pastora Anna Figuero will preside from Iglesia de Dios.
Curtis Emory Roberts
ROBERTS, Curtis Emory, age 67 of Dade City, died Friday, January 27, 2006 at Pasco Regional Medical Center. He came to Dade City 41 years ago from his native, Bell, Florida. He was the founder and owner/operator of Roberts Vault Company and was the first company to sell burial vaults to a cemetery in the state of Florida. His first experience with burial vaults (or in the industry) was in South San Francisco where he met his wife of49 years, Donna. He was a member of the Zephyrhills Church of Christ. Survivors include his Wife: Donna; Daughters & Son-in-law: Vonnie & Terry Scott and Cindy Barthle and special friend, Chris Newton; Sons & Daughters-in-law: Steve & Stacey Roberts, Craig & Susan Roberts, Gregg & Deana Roberts all of Dade City; Sisters: Elba Nettles of Bell, FL, Florice Arnold of Branford, FL and Joan Bass of Live Oak, FL; 17 Grandchildren: Mickey Bearden, Zack Scott, Josh Barthle, Chelsea Barthle, Lacey Roberts, Blake Roberts, Logan Roberts, Rachel Roberts, Kevin Roberts, Rebecca Roberts, Dawson Roberts, Colton Roberts, Amanda Roberts, Brandon Roberts, Timothy Rogers, Billy Scott and Kielynn McKinney; one great grandson: Dominick Rogers. Visitation for friends will be 6 - 8pm, Monday, January 30, 2006 at Hodges Family Funeral Home, 301 Chapel, where funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm, Tuesday, January 31, 2006 with Preacher Harry Rice officiating. Margaret E. Chapman
Chapman, Margaret Etchen, born January 4, 1914 near Buckner, Illinois, was the oldest of 7 children to Robert and Clara Lindsay. She married Ronald Chapman December 30, 1942 and was a beautician in Terre Haute, IN for many years before moving to Florida with her family in 1951. Margaret lived in Dade City, Florida until January 1997 when she moved to Goodland and Brook, IN. She was a beautician, homemaker, life long member of the Eastern Star, avid crafter and enjoyed golf. She was a member of her childhood church, Hunt City Christian Church in Hunt City, Illinois. Devoted to her family, she is survived by one daughter, Margaret E. (Peggy) Curington (husband, Arnold) of St. Leo, Florida and one son, James Michael Chapman (wife, Joni) of Brook, IN. One grandson, Ronald Reid Chapman (wife, Melisa) of Greenwood, IN and 4 granddaughters: Emily Curington of Leesburg, FL, Anna Curington of St. Leo, FL, Callie Curington of Lithia, FL, and Stacie Chapman, Dade City, FL. She had one great-granddaughter, Grace Kelly Chapman. Also surviving is one brother, David Lindsay of Dade City, FL, one sister, Catherine Alexander (husband, Harry) of Wichita, Kansas, and her cousin she loved like a sister, Velma Stanley of Tucson, Arizona. Preceding in her death was her husband of 27 years, Ronald Chapman who died in 1969. Also, her parents, two brothers-Robert Lindsay (Buckner, IL) and Kenneth Lindsay (Dade City, FL), two sisters-Audrey Baxter (Rockville, IN) and Betty Tait (Paris, IL). Funeral services will be held 11am, Tuesday, January 31, 2006 at the First Presbyterian Church in Dade City. She will be buried next to her husband, Ronald, at Floral Memory Gardens. Friends may call from 5-7pm Monday evening at the Hodges Family Funeral Home on Hwy 301.
Evelyn M. Stanberry
STANBERRY, Evelyn M., 74, of Dade City, died Friday, January 27, 2006 at home. A native of Knox County, Kentucky, she was a long time resident of this area. She was born on April 16, 1931 to Jim Hammons and Eva (Williamson) Hammons. Evelyn moved to Brandon, Florida with her husband and taught school until 1971 when they moved to Dade City. She loved antique shopping, working in the Republican Party and watching Florida State Football. She will be missed by the many friends who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Lowell; a son, Lowell Keith Stanberry of Fernadino Beach, Florida; three grandchildren, Ashley, Adam and Alex; and three brothers, Chester Hammons and his wife, Madaline, Ray Hammons and his wife, Helen and Jerry Hammons and his wife, Darlene, all of London, KY. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Harold, Virgil, and Glenn; and a sister, Mary Greer. The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home, 5th Street Chapel, on Monday, January 30, 2006. Funeral services will be held in the 5th Street Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 31, 2006 with Rev. Randal Belcher officiating. Burial will follow in London, Kentucky.
Susan Pashby-Woll
Pashby-Woll, Susan J., 50, of Zephyrhills, Florida passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2006 at Hernando Pasco Hospice in Dade City, surrounded by her loving family. She has lived in the area for 29 years. She is survived by her mother, Carol Flanders, Zephyrhills; her daughters, Shannon and her husband Kevin Freist, Webster and Kari Napier, Zephyrhills; her granddaughter, Taylor Elizabeth Napier; her longtime companion Ray Purdy, Dade City; sisters, Kathleen Negley, San Diego, CA and Karen Dierdorff, Zephyrhills; one brother, Glen and his wife Marie Flanders, Dade City; 6 nieces and 3 nephews. Susan was a clerk for ABC Liquor. She was a friend to all and loved by many. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held July 15, 2006 at 2:00 PM at the Howg Pound Pub. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hernando-Pasco Hospice.
