Glade, Mitzi, 57, of Lutz, left this life on October 1, 2006. Mrs. Glade was born in San Bernardino, California on September 26, 1949 to parents Lawrence and Norma Defoe. Mrs. Glade was a Special Education school teacher for 20 years in Springfield, Oregon. She moved to Florida from Oregon just one year ago with her beloved husband Skip and she was a member of The Willamettans Family Nudist Resort in Marcola, Oregon, along with Lake Como Family Nudist Resort in Lutz, FL. . Mrs. Glade was a Naturist with a beautiful tan who loved the great outdoors, people, bears, dolphins, and collecting miniatures. Mitzi's smile was like sunshine. Her beautiful spirit warmed everyone she touched and everyone who met her, loved her. She will be greatly missed. She leaves behind a saddened family, including her husband, Skip, her daughter Ramona Laumbach, son, Michael Green, three grandchildren, five step-children, five step-grandchildren, and a sister. She also leaves behind her beloved dog Lakoda.

Fortune, Dawn Michelle, 40, of Zephyrhills, Florida passed away suddenly September 28, 2006. She was born December 15, 1965 in Kokomo, Indiana the daughter of Fawn C Tolley and Judith K. Guge. She has lived in Zephyrhills for 4 years. She is survived by her loving family including her daughter Stephanie Livingston. her son Charles Thompson III and his father Charles Thompson II, her mother and step-father, Judith K (Claude O.) Bowley all of Zephyrhills, her brother Richard Tolley, Las Vegas, sister, Shawn Spencer, Kokomo and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded by her father Fawn Tolley II and her brother, Fawn Tolley III. She will be missed. Services are private.
Ellis W. Henderson
Henderson, Ellis W. “Woody”, 62, of Seffner, Florida left this life on September 29, 2006. Mr. Henderson was born on March 28, 1944 to parents Hardy and Leaner Henderson in Citronelle, Alabama. Mr. Henderson married the love of his life Annie Wells on July 16, 1970 and has lived in Seffner for the past 38 years. During his time in Florida Mr. Henderson was a volunteer coach for many different sports and was loved by all he worked with. He is survived by his loving wife Annie, his two children Brenda J. Vest and Glinda F. Henderson, and 4 step children James E. Henderson, Mae J. Clark, Annie M. Godwin, and Melissa G. McCoy. He also leaves behind 10 grandchildren Roy Strain Jr, Jerry Sharpe, John Bright, Priscilla Vest, Andriana Osgood, Delaina Osgood, James McCoy, Melissa McCoy, James Jr. Clark, Billy J. Clark, and Lisa Mae Morrow. Visitation was held at Hodges Family Funeral Home (11441 U.S. Hwy 301, Dade City) on Tuesday, October 3, 2006 from 6-8pm and a funeral service were held on Wednesday, October 4, 2006 at 11:00am with burial following at Chapel Hill Gardens Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers the family will accept any donations to help them through these hard times.
Robert C. Ragsdale
Ragsdale, Robert C., 69, of San Antonio, Fla., died Wednesday, September 27, 2006 at Gulfside Regional Hospice in Dade City. A 30 year Veteran of the US Navy he retired in 1985. He was a member of the Community United Methodist Church in San Antonio. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Margaret "Peggy" Ragsdale; a daughter, Robyn Ragsdale and her husband, Colin Beach of Tampa; a son, Timothy Ragsdale and his wife, Patti of Jacksonville; and two grandchildren, Kamryn and Zachary Beach, both of Tampa. The family received friends from 5-7 p.m. on Sunday, October 1, 2006 at the funeral home, 5th Street Chapel in Dade City. Funeral services were held at Community United Methodist Church in San Antonio at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 2, 2006 with Pastor Juan M. Garay officiating. Burial followed at Florida National Cemetery.
Roberta Jean Restifo
Restifo, Roberta Jean, 66, of Ridge Manor, FL, entered into eternal life, Friday, September 29, 2006 under the care of Hernando-Pasco Hospice in Dade City. She was born August 27, 1940 in Cleveland, OH, to William Olah and Betty Liptak. She worked in Real Estate Sales while living in Cleveland, OH, and then worked for the Hernando County Sheriff's Department at their sub-station in Ridge Manor since 1995. She was also an active member of the All Faith's United Church of Christ in Ridge Manor. She is survived by her son: Jeffrey W. Cox, Louisville, KY; her daughter: Sharon Cupach, Cleveland, OH; 2 sisters: Beatrice Seahorn, Ridge Manor, FL, Susan Brabander, Marblehead, OH; 1 brother: Christopher Olah, Lakewood, OH; 3 step-daughters: Diane Taft, Joanne Waldron, Karen Rados; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 1 son: Jerry V Cox and her husband Anthony. Memorial services were held 11am Monday, October 2, 2006 at the All Faith's United Church of Christ in Ridge Manor.
Lowell B. Stanberry
STANBERRY, Lowell B., 74, of Dade City, died Sunday, September 24, 2006 at home. Born in Fletcher, Kentucky, he was a US Army Veteran during the Korean FHP PatchConflict. A Florida resident since 1957, he moved to Dade City in 1971 from Brandon. He was a Florida Highway Patrol Officer from 1957 until the early 1960’s. He was a retired business owner and was well known in political circles in this area. Recognized as “Mr. Republican” in East Pasco County, he was the recipient of many federal, state and local awards for his tireless efforts for the Republican Party in East Pasco County. He was a Paul Harris Fellow, and was awarded the title of Kentucky Colonel by the Governor of Kentucky. He was the first recipient of the East Pasco “Republican of the Year” in 2003 for his support and hosting of Gov. Jeb Bush, Sheriff Bob White, Representative Michael Bilirakis, among many other Republican candidates. He was also a member of the Brandon Masonic Lodge #114 and was an Honorary Pasco County Deputy Sheriff. Survivors include a son, Lowell Keith Stanberry of Fernandina Beach, Florida; three grandchildren, Ashley, Adam and Alex; a sister, Ruby Jones of Spring Hill; a brother, Dan Stanberry of Los Angeles, CA; and a companion, Kathy McDavid of Dade City. He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Evelyn in January of this year. The family received friends from 6-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home, 5th Street Chapel, on Wednesday, September 27, 2006. Funeral services were held in the 5th Street Chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home on, Thursday, September 28, 2006, at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Randal Belcher officiating. Burial followed in London, Kentucky.
Robert Theodore Filcek
Filcek, Robert Theodore, 76, of Zephyrhills, Florida, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2006 at Hernando Pasco Hospice, Dade City. He was born on June 8, 1930 in Bay City, Michigan. He has lived in the area the last two years, moving from Michigan. He was a Korean War U.S. Army Veteran. He is survived by wife Chin Yoke Yee, sons, Willie, Roger, Kenneth, Gary and Brian, two daughters Arlene and Debbie and previous wife of 25 years, Phyllis Filcek of Michigan; brothers, sisters, grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many relatives and friends. Memorial Visitation was from 3:00 to 5:00 PM Thursday, September 28, 2006 at Hodges Family Funeral Home on State Route 54 in Zephyrhills Services and burial will be in Michigan at a later date.
Lionel Albert
Albert, Lionel, 86, of Zephyrhills passed away Saturday, September 23, 2006, at Florida Hospital Zephyrhills. He was born January 25, 1920 in Saint Agatha, Maine to the late Charles and Edith (Chasse) Albert. Lionel was united in marriage to Dorothy Hatch on November 9, 1940 at St. Mary’s Church in Rochester, NH. In 1943 he enlisted in the U.S. Army until his honorable discharge 1946. He was employed by Emerson Chevrolet as an Automobile Mechanic. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Zephyrhills. Survivors include his loving wife, Dorothy, 1 son, Barry Leer Albert, 4 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Glen Albert who passed away April 29, 1978. Burial will be at Holy Rose Cemetery in Rochester, NH at a later date.
Fred A. Bornefield
Bornefeld, Fred A, 82, of Zephyrhills, Florida passed away in Dade City, Florida Saturday 23, 2006. He was born January 17, 1924 in Evansville, Indiana, to Alfred and Ella Britz Bornefeld. He grew up and was educated in Evansville, Indiana. He and Hazel MacLean were married September 29, 1944 in Lakehurst, N. J. where he was stationed in the U. S. Navy during WW II. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Haron “Barney” Bornefeld and a son Ed Bornefeld. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Hazel of the Home, one daughter Gail and husband Max Wright of Kingwood, TX, one son, John and wife Beverly Bornefeld of Broken Arrow, OK. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren and one brother Robert Bornefeld of Evansville. A Memorial Service were held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, September 26, 2206 at the New River UMC in Wesley Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice-East Pasco Care Center, Dade City, FL or New River Methodist Church.
Harold E. Bailey
Bailey, Harold E., 90, of Zephyrhills, passed away September 23, 2006. He was born December 16, 1915 in Jasper, New York to Edward and Julia (Sherman) Bailey. He moved to Zephyrhills in 1970 from Hornell, New York. He is predeceased by his first wife Myrtle (Swan) Bailey and his second wife Phyllis (Shaver) Bailey. His survivors include his son Dale Bailey and daughter Diane Kull both of Zephyrhills, and a sister, Elsie Cornish, Bather, New York. Three granddaughters and six great grandchildren. Harold was the owner of Harold Bailey Used Cars in Zephyrhills for 25 years before his retirement in 1996. A private service will be held. No flowers please. A kind thought in his memory is appreciated.

Barron, Harry K., 84, of Dade City, FL, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2006 at Sunbelt Health Care Center of Zephyrhills. He was born December 19, 1921 in Glyndon, MN, and worked as a USDA Inspector for many years. He is survived by his daughters: Suzanne & Colby Jaynes, Dade City, FL, Melanie & Doug Feek, Vero Beach, FL; 4 brothers: Jack Barron, Baudette, MN, Gordon & Carol Barron, St. Cloud, MN, Donald & Gladys Barron, Thief River Falls, MN, Charles & Dolores Barron, Minnetonka, MN; 1 sister: Phyllis Dunn, Winona, MN; and 2 grandchildren: Jordan Feek and Jared Feek. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years: Marjorie L. “Margie” Barron. Private memorial services will take place at a later date.
William Glenn Quirk
Quirk, William Glenn, 75 of Zephyrhills, passed away Sunday September 17, 2006.He was born May 3, 1931 in Rainbow Lake, NY. He was honorably discharged from the US Army after serving as Sergeant 1st Class. During his life, he held many jobs in the construction industry. He often jokingly referred to himself as a "Jack of All Trades, Master of None", but in fact he was a very talented craftsmen in many aspects of the construction trade. Some of the projects he worked were the New York State Missile Silo‘s, the St. Lawrence Seaway Project, the Trans-Alaska Pipeline, and the reconstruction of Ft. Drum, NY. A retired member of both Alaska Teamsters Local 959, Anchorage, Alaska, and International Union of Operator Engineers Local 545, Syracuse, NY. He will be remembered by his family and friends for his love, hard work ethic, and great sense of humor. He loved playing and listening to bluegrass music. Self taught, he was very proficient on the fiddle, mandolin, and guitar. Preceded in death by daughter Lawana Lee Quirk. Survived by sons Terry James, Timothy John, Michael Leon, Keenan Patrick, daughters Della Jean, Brenda Sue, Kelly Kathleen, seventeen grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
