Summerlin, Vicki Rose
Summerlin, Vicki Rose, 61, of Wesley Chapel, left us heartbroken on Tuesday, January 23, 2007. Vick was born to parents, Constance Holmes Robertson Summerlin and Joseph Frances Summerlin, on July 16, 1945 in Bedford, England. Seeking a new life away from the devastation of war, the family moved to Canada and then in 1967 settled in beautiful Florida. Vick, with her adventurous spirit, diverse interests, and great concern for everything and everyone, was involved, in her own small way, with environmental, animal issue, historic preservation, and social awareness organizations. She was always ready to passionately debate the latest human absurdity and was a steady defender of the downtrodden. Born into a cruel world that could not see past her physical appearance to her pure, untarnished soul and generous heart, we are so much less with her passing. Vick, you were loved and will be greatly missed. Vicki is survived by her parents and her three sisters and a multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends including: the Lesley and John Touchton, Joan and Al Parker, and the Connie and Mike Newell families. Family
and friends are invited to a celebration of Vicki’s life on Sunday, January 28, 2007 from 2:00pm – 5:00pm at her parents’ home.
