JUNCTION CITY, Kan. -- Mr. Bruce Tyrone Hazelton of Junction City, Kan., who was a native of Bartow, died Sunday (May 15, 2005) at home. He was 39. Cause of his death is pending further investigation.
He was born in Bartow on May 26, 1965.
Mr. Hazelton is survived by his wife, Carol; mother, Elizabeth; daughters, Talisha Hazelton of California, Chelsea Delatorre, Shaniqua Hazelton, and Kiarra Hazelton, all of Junction City, Kan.; sons, Damion Lucas, Topeka, Tyrone Lucas, Topeka, and Andreas Delatorre, Junction City.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel, Junction City. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at AME Ward Chapel, Junction City. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Junction City.

Lakeland -- Master Zachary Glover of Lakeland died of sudden infant death syndrome May 12, 2005, at home. He was an infant.
He was born Jan. 26, 2005, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center.
Master Glover is survived by his mother, Spechelle Overton, Lakeland; father, Lawrence Gloree Jr., Lakeland; brother, Jarion Overton, Lakeland; sister, Neimiah Overton, Lakeland; grandmother, Patricia Davis Gloree, Lakeland; grandfathers, Lawrence Glover Sr., Plant City, and Darryl King Sr., Plant City.
Visitation will be this evening from 6 to 8 at Winslow Honors Funeral Chapel. Interment will be 2 p.m. Friday at Garden of Peace Cemetery.

LAKELAND -- Mr. Thaddeus Patrick Flynn of Mulberry died of cancer Tuesday (May 17, 2005) at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. He was 66.
Born in Fitchburg, Mass., on Aug. 27, 1938, he came to Plant City from Fitchburg in 1989 and moved to Lakeland in 1995. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a painter.
Mr. Flynn is survived by his wife, Coreen Smith Flynn; daughter, Robin, East Hartford, Conn.; sons, Mark and Arnold, both of Lakeland, Kade, Springfield, Mass., and Michael, Winchendon, Mass.; sister, Marilyn Ellingsworth of Cottonwood, Ariz.; brother, John Flynn, Lakeland; stepbrothers, Paul St. Jean, Fitchburg, Mass., and Ronald St. Jean, Lakeland; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

LAKELAND -- Mr. Wilfredo Laboy of Lakeland died of heart failure at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. He was 49.
Born May 20, 1955, in Cuamo, Puerto Rico, he came from Reading, Pa., 13 years ago. He was an engineer in the telecommunications industry. He was a Jehovah's Witness.
Mr. Laboy was preceded in death by his wife, Lidgah Laboy. He is survived by his mother, Ana Laboy, Lakeland; father, Martin Laboy, Reading, Pa.; brothers, Wilson Laboy, Reading, Pa., and William Laboy, Lakeland; and sister, Mildred Laboy, Reading, Pa.

LAKE WALES -- Mr. Joseph Mortimer Burkett of Lake Wales died of heart failure Tuesday (May 17, 2005) at Lake Wales Medical Center. He was 90.
Born May 12, 1915, in Defuniak Springs, he came here from Defuniak Springs in 1936. He was a World War II veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a self-employed painter.
Mr. Burkett was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Louise Burkett. He is survived by his daughters, Joelyn Breen, Lake Wales, and Margaret Burkett, Atlanta; sons, Pat Burkett, Deerfield Beach, and Sam Burkett of Lake Alfred; sister, Anna Metz Bonneman, Lake Wales; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lake Wales Cemetery.

AUBURNDALE -- Mrs. Geraldine Buczkowski of Auburndale died of cancer Tuesday (May 17, 2005) at Good Shepherd Hospice. She was 66.
Born Dec. 2, 1938, in Buffalo, N.Y., she moved to Auburndale with her husband in 1993. She was retired from Fisher Price Toy Co. in East Aurora, N.Y. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Winter Haven.
Mrs. Buczkowski is survived by her husband, Ronald Buczkowski; daughters, Michelle, Hamburg, N.Y., and Deborah, Lakeland; sons, Robert, Cheektowaga, N.Y., and Scotty, Tonawanda, N.Y.; 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Robert Stevens, 77, Elliot Co.
NORVELT, PA. -- While trying to fulfill a childhood dream of golfing at St. Andrews in Scotland, Robert Stevens of Lakeland died of coronary heart disease May 9, 2005, at Heathrow Airport in London. He was 77.
Born Feb. 10, 1928, in Munhall, Pa., Mr. Stevens moved to Lakeland 13 years ago and spent nine months of the year here. He was a resident of Foxwood Estates, where daughter, Jeannie Jones, said her parents "met a wonderful group of people that they did everything with."
Before retirement, Mr. Stevens was employed by the Elliot Co. of Jeanette, Pa., as a designer. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Navy. He held a membership in the Mount Pleasant Township Lions Club, AMVETS Post #94 of United, Norvelt Golf Club in Pennsylvania and the Wedgewood Golf Club in Lakeland.
"Next to my mother, golfing was his passion, " his daughter said. "He was an avid golfer. When he passed away en route to St. Andrews with my brother, he was living a dream."
Mr. Stevens was an active member of St. Florian Catholic Church in Norvelt.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Virginia Pelar Stevens; son, Robbie Stevens of Mystic, Conn.; daughters, Jeannie Jones of Collierville, Tenn. and Mary Ellen McCloskey of Tyler, Texas; six grandchildren.
Military and blessing services, followed by a funeral Mass, will take place this morning in Norvelt.
Mr. Stevens is to be interred at St. Florian Cemetery, Trauger, with full military honors accorded by the Armbrust Veterans Association and AMVETS Post #94 of United.
BRUCE MINCEY, 51

LAKELAND -- Mr. Bruce C. Mincey of Lakeland died of cancer Thursday (May 12, 2005) at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. He was 51.
He was born in Ulm, Germany, on Nov. 21, 1953. Mr. Mincey worked as a rod buster in the steel industry. He was a Protestant.
Mr. Mincey is survived by his sisters, Wilma Herndon, Dover, Pansy VanAllen, Phyllis Mincey, both of Lakeland, Cynthia Magliolo, Beaumont, Texas; brothers, Dewey Mincey, Mulberry, Willard Mincey, Lakeland.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Sunday at Oak Grove Cemetery, Lake Alfred.
