DAVENPORT -- Ms. Teresa Ann Dickerson of Davenport, who died of a cerebral hemorrhage Friday (May 13, 2005) in Orlando, worked year-round decorating Disney World for Christmas. She was 35.
Ms. Dickerson was born Jan. 1, 1970, in Hollywood, Fla.
For nine years Ms. Dickerson worked all year with a crew that made Christmas trees, reefs and ornaments, her father, Charles Edward Dickerson, said.
"She and her crew placed the ornaments all throughout Disney, " he said. The job began in January. "As soon as they got it all set up, they took it down and did it all over again."
After a close friend died and left behind a Great Dane, Ms. Dickerson took in the dog, her father remembered. Only a puppy at the time, the dog soon grew to 180 pounds.
"He would just pull her along, " he said.
She cared for the dog out of concern and as a way of remembering her friend.
Ms. Dickerson was vice president of Carpenters Union Local 1820. She was a member of Joiners of America.
Ms. Dickerson is survived by her mother, Anna Louise Dickerson, Davenport; father, Charles Edward Dickerson; and sister, Nancy Ann Searles.
Visitation will be this evening from 6 to 8 at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Oak Ridge.
KAREN ANASTASIA, 53

LAKE WALES -- Ms. Karen M. Anastasia of Lake Wales died of lung failure Wednesday (May 11, 2005) at Florida Hospital in Orlando. She was 53.
Born in Waterbury, Conn., on Jan. 28, 1952, Ms. Anastasia came to Lake Wales from Key West 16 years ago. She was a personal chef.
Ms. Anastasia was preceded in death by her husband, David L. Clayton. She is survived by her daughter, Korrine M. Clayton, Lake Wales; one grandson.

Lucille Ingram, 88, Suncrest Citrus
DAVENPORT -- Mrs. Lucille Ingram was known for her exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
"Mom was the go-to lady. If the school needed dinner put on or anyone needed dinner, she could organize, plan and feed a large group of people on short order, " said her daughter, Linda Ingram Budd of Plant City. "She was a definite leader. She could organize things and get things done."
The retired citrus grove and business owner died of complications following a stroke Tuesday (May 10, 2005) in Auburndale. She was 88.
Born in Weldon, Ark., on May 20, 1916, she came to Davenport from there in the 1920s. After marrying Bruce B. Ingram on Feb. 1, 1939, the couple bought a small grocery store in Davenport, and Mrs. Ingram operated it during World War II while her husband operated their grove caretaking business, Ingram Grove Services. After they sold the grocery store, the Ingrams bought Triangle Service Station in Davenport and Mrs. Ingram ran the station. The couple later owned Suncrest Citrus in Davenport.
"She kind of helped put food on the table while he was buying land and planting groves. They both worked very hard, " Budd said.
Mrs. Ingram was funny and upbeat. She enjoyed dancing, fishing and, in her later years, playing bingo. She was devoted to her family.
She was a member of the Davenport Woman's Club. She attended Davenport United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Ingram was preceded in death by her husband in 1986. In addition to her daughter, Linda Ingram Budd, she is survived by her sons, Vincent Gail Brown, Davenport, and Bruce B. Ingram Jr., Haines City; daughter, Mary Ellen Ingram Tramontin, Winter Haven; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Friday at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 1001 Grace Ave., Haines City. Services will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Davenport.

POLK CITY -- Miss Chelsi Jean Gregory of Polk City died of injuries sustained in an auto accident Sunday (April 24, 2005) in Winter Haven. She was 17.
Born in Lakeland on Sept. 10, 1987, she was a lifelong resident. She was a student at Families of Faith and treasurer of FFA. She was a member of Freewill Baptist Church in Lakeland.
Miss Gregory is survived by her mother, Jeana Fussell Gregory, Polk City; father, Johnny B. Gregory, Lakeland; sisters, Chrissy L. Gregory, Lexington, Ky., Lyndsi L. Gregory, Polk City; stepsisters, Jasmine Razabdouski, and Lindsey R. McManus, both of Lakeland; stepbrother, Blake Allen McManus, Lakeland; maternal grandmother, Patsy Scott, Polk City; maternal grandfather, Paul Fussell, Polk City; maternal great-grandfather, Harris Fussell, Polk City; paternal grandmother, Louise Lynch, Portland, Tenn.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Kersey Funeral Home, Auburndale. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Mount Olive Baptist Church Cemetery, Polk City. A luncheon will follow the service at Mount Olive Baptist Church.

LAKELAND -- Mrs. Elsie Rae Smith of Lakeland died of heart failure Thursday (May 12, 2005) at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. She was 86.
Mrs. Smith was born July 15, 1918, in Live Oak. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Gapway Baptist Church.
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Smith. She is survived by her son, Danny Lamar Smith, Lakeland; brother, Horace Stinson, Lakeland; sisters, Genevieve Gallant and Rozell Lindsey, both of Lakeland, Lilly Judy, Davenport.
Visitation will be at 6 p.m. Monday at Gapway Baptist Church. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church.

Born Nov. 25, 1957, in Winter Haven, she was a lifelong resident of this area.
Mrs. Walker is survived by her mother, Nell Walker, Davenport; daughter, Christi Walker, Davenport; two grandchildren; three sisters; two brothers.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Church of Christ, 1232 Robinson Drive, Haines City.
