WINTER HAVEN -- Mr. Hubert "Red" Beasley of Winter Haven died of heart failure Tuesday (Nov. 30, 2004) in Davenport. He was 76.
Born in Sardis, Ala., on June 26, 1928, he came to Winter Haven from there 60 years ago. He was a dispatcher for BC Cook and Sons. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He was a member of Central Church of Christ in Haines City.
Mr. Beasley is survived by his daughter, Deborah Lee Bailey, Haines City; son, John Alan Beasley, Orlando; one granddaughter.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, 1001 Grace Ave., Haines City. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Central Church of Christ in Haines City. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, Haines City.
MARYLOU BROWNSTEIN, 91

LAKELAND -- Mrs. Marylou Brownstein of Lakeland died of a brain hemorrhage Nov. 14, 2004. She was 91.
Born in New Orleans, she came to Lakeland from New York in 1969. She was a retired medical assistant. She was a member of the Newcomers Club. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lakeland.
Mrs. Brownstein was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob M. Brownstein. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl B. Waterson, Lakeland, and one grandson.

LAKELAND -- Mr. Gordon H. Kempley of Lakeland died of heart failure Tuesday (Nov. 30, 2004) at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. He was 79.
Born in Endeavor, Wis., on Dec. 16, 1924, he came to Lakeland from Eau Claire, Wis., one year ago. He was a retired food equipment salesman. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Elks Lodge. He was a Catholic.
Mr. Kempley is survived by his wife, Kathryn Kempley; son, Gary Kempley, Mulberry; daughters, Cheryl Kempley, Lee's Summit, Mo., Karla Kjelstad, Altoona, Wis.
Services will be held in Endeavor, Wis.

AUBURNDALE -- Mrs. Syble King Heger of Auburndale died of heart failure Wednesday (Dec. 1, 2004) at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. She was 86.
Born in Opp, Ala., on March 1, 1918, she came to Auburndale from Geneva, Ala., in 1928. She was a retired sectionizer in the citrus industry. She was a member of Westside Assembly of God in Auburndale and attended Berea Baptist Church in Auburndale.
Mrs. Heger is survived by her husband, Robert "Bob" Lee Heger; son, Elmer "Danny" Daniel Fussell, Auburndale; daughter, Emily Black, Polk City; brother, Selvin King, Longview, Texas; sister, Ruth Wisner, Auburndale; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Kersey Funeral Home, 108 E. Lake Stella Drive, Auburndale. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Auburndale Memorial Park Cemetery.

LOUGHMAN -- Mrs. Mary Louise "Lou" Williams of Loughman died of respiratory failure Friday (Sept. 24, 2004) in Kissimmee. She was 74.
Born Dec. 1, 1929, in Bluefield, W.Va., Mrs. Williams came to Loughman from Intercession City seven years ago. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church.
Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband, Richard Dan Williams; sons, Malcolm Williams, Loughman, Mark Williams, Fredericksburg, Va., Tim Williams, Bluefield, W.Va.; daughter, Edna Lambert, Lawrenceville, Ga.; sister, Sara Elizabeth James, Pennsylvania; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.

LAKELAND -- Mr. Wayne Langdale of Lakeland died of cancer Tuesday (Oct. 12, 2004) at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. He was 61.
Born in Jasper on July 14, 1943, he came to Lakeland from Mulberry several years ago. He was a retired auditor for W.S. Badcock Corp. He was currently working as a salesman for Commercial Lawn. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the Mulberry Memorial Post No. 72 American Legion. He was a member and officer of the Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge No. 2295, and a member of the Faternal Order of Eagles Arie No. 4356. He was a Baptist.
Mr. Langdale is survived by his son, Alan Langdale, Lakeland; brothers, Elwood Langdale, Tampa, Jerry Langdale, Orange Lake; companion, Carolyn Florea, Lakeland; two grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 this evening at Seigler Funeral Home, Highway 60E, Mulberry. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Cedar Grove Baptist Church, 8201 Cedar Grove Church Road, Lithia.

LAKELAND -- Mr. William M. Rose of Lakeland died of an aneurysm Wednesday (Dec. 1, 2004) at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. He was 76.
Born in Harrison, Ark., on Jan. 31, 1928, he came to Lakeland from Tulsa, Okla., 16 years ago. He retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco after 30 years. He was a Marine Corps veteran, serving as a pilot. He was a Mason and a member of the Sandpiper Golf Club in Lakeland. He was a member of First Christian Church in Tulsa.
Mr. Rose is survived by his wife, Mary Louise Rose; daughter, Nora Rose Irlee, Darien, Conn.; son, William M. Rose Jr., Milford, Conn.; stepsons, David Newell Williams, Fort Worth, Texas, Morgan Hart Williams, Montclair, N.J., Kenneth Scott Williams, Bel-Air, Calif.; nine grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 10, at Sandpiper Golf clubhouse, 5959 Sandpipers Drive, Lakeland. Burial will be in Broken Arrow, Okla., in Park Grove Cemetery.

LAKELAND -- Mr. Samuel "Bill" Chester Kelly of Lakeland died of heart failure Thursday (Dec. 2, 2004) in Lakeland. He was 83.
Born in St. Augustine on Nov. 27, 1921, he came to Lakeland from Miami 31 years ago. He was a baker for Publix for 131/2 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving as a chief commissary steward. He was a member of First Baptist Church at the Mall.
Mr. Kelly is survived by his wife, Ethel Kelly; daughters, Teresa Holbrook, Cheryl Shaffer, both of Lakeland; son, Doug Kelly, Lakeland; sisters, Audrey Markos, Jackie Hughes, Betty Levey, Ethel Joyce Dykes, Mary Ann Bailey; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church at the Mall. Services will follow at 11:30 a.m. at the church.
