LAKELAND -- Mr. Henry T. Barnhill of Lakeland died of cancer Monday (Dec. 13, 2004) in Medulla. He was 70.
Born on March 16, 1934, he was a lifelong resident of Polk County. He was a painter at Bartow Ford. He was an Air Force veteran. He was a member of the Business Bookkeepers Association in Plant City.
Mr. Barnhill is survived by his daughter, Celeste Scaglione, Lakeland; son, Gregory E. Barnhill, Lakeland; sister, Dorothy Hammond, Tampa; stepson, Ricky Massey, Bartow; stepdaughter, Sherry Massey, Georgia; three grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 this evening at David Russell Funeral Home, Lakeland. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
MALISSIE HUDSON, 74

LAKELAND -- Ms. Malissie Hudson of Lakeland died of kidney failure Tuesday (Dec. 14, 2004) in Lakeland. She was 74.
She was born in Eaton Park. She was a construction finisher, formerly employed by Prestress Concrete.
Ms. Hudson is survived by her sons, Artie Hudson, Lakeland, Bert Hudson, Mulberry; daughters, Arnita Waldon, Benita Evans, both of Lakeland; sisters, Mable Terrell, Medulla, Edna Mae Zimmerman, Eaton Park; brother, Judge Hudson Jr., Lakeland; sister, Savannah Edge, Lakeland, Cora Lee McCall, Tampa, Ora Lee Kitchen, Eaton Park; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Coney Funeral Parlor. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Born Church in Mulberry. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
RONALD HOLLEY, 64
PLANT CITY -- Mr. Ronald Holley of Plant City died Tuesday (Dec. 14, 2004) in Sun City Center. He was 64.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Friday at Wells Memorial Funeral Chapel, Plant City. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Florida National Cemetery.

PLANT CITY -- Mrs. Willie Mae Boyd of Plant City died of heart disease at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale. She was 93.
Born in Willacoochee, Ga., on March 16, 1911, she came to Plant City from Georgia more than 50 years ago. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Plant City.
Mrs. Boyd was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Boyd. She is survived by her daughters, Phyllis Anderson, Valdosta, Ga., Mary Hampton, Lakeland; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Charlow Funeral Home, Plant City. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bethel Baptist Church in Plant City.
PATRICIA BENTLEY, 56

LAKELAND -- Ms. Patricia Bentley of Lakeland died of heart failure Monday (Dec. 13, 2004) at home. She was 56.
Born in Watertown, N.Y., on Jan. 16, 1948, she came to Lakeland from New York, 20 years ago. She was a nurse. She was a member of Carpenters Home Church.
Ms. Bentley is survived by her father, Leo Bentley, Watertown; brother, William Bentley, Chaumont, N.Y.; sisters, Catherine Enzian, Lakeland, Cindy McKee, Watertown, Elizabeth Lashway, Three Mile, N.Y.
Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Carpenters Home Estate Chapel.

Ruth Gould-Mohr, 99, Music Teacher
WINTER HAVEN -- After developing an interest in music at a very young age, Mrs. Ruth C. Gould-Mohr taught piano lessons for more than 79 years.
"She started teaching at the age 13. Somebody that went to the church wanted their daughter to start to learn how to play, and they asked my mother if she would teach them, " her daughter, Marcia Colegrove of Grafton, Ohio, said. "I would say she taught until about (the age) 92, but she still had a couple of children that she mentored.
The retired music teacher died of lung failure Saturday (Dec. 11, 2004) at Palm Garden of Winter Haven. She was 99.
She was born in Cook County, Ill., on Oct. 10, 1905. Mrs. Gould-Mohr, whose father was a minister, was exposed to music through the church and began taking piano lessons when she was five or six years old. She attended the University of Cincinnati and DePaul University, majoring in music.
The family came to Winter Haven from North Olmsted, Ohio, in 1960. "Mom and Dad, they were in a lot of music, and when they came here and decided on Winter Haven, it was due to the music community, " Colegrove said. "She had a fantastic memory, so when she would play, she memorized everything. She was a fantastic teacher of anything that she wanted to teach."
Mrs. Gould-Mohr primarily played classical music, with her favorite being Bach, her daughter said.
She was a board member of the Winter Haven Youth Orchestra and past national president of SAI, a music sorority. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Winter Haven.
Mrs. Gould-Mohr was preceded in death by her first husband of 29 years, Paul J. Gould, in 1962; and second husband of 15 years, Dr. William Mohr, in 1992. In addition to her daughter, Marcia Colegrove, she is survived by her five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church in Winter Haven.

RICHARD ALBRIGHT, 81

LAKELAND -- Richard M. Albright of Lakeland died from a stroke Sunday (Dec. 12, 2004) at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. He was 81.
Born Feb. 6, 1923, Mr. Albright came here from Johnson City, Tenn., in 1981. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps, serving in World War II. He was an industrial engineer for North Electric. He was a member of the 8th Air Force Historical Society and the 303 Bomb Group Association. He was a Presbyterian.
Mr. Albright was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jane "Teel" Albright. He is survived by his sons, James A. Albright and William Douglas Albright, both of Lakeland; two grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Lakeland Funeral Home. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
