FROSTPROOF -- Mr. Charles "Squirt" Albritton of Frostproof died of heart failure Thursday (Dec. 9, 2004) at Florida Hospital, Heartland. He was 55.
Born May 10, 1949, in Frostproof, he was a lifelong resident of this area. He was a veteran of the Army, serving in Vietnam. He was a self-employed cowboy.
Mr. Albritton is survived by his daughters, Patty Albritton Briggs and Sarah Hood, both of Frostproof, Elizabeth Sutter, Avon Park; sons, Bill Sutter and Chris Sutter, both of Fort Recovery, Ohio, Jim Sutter and Doug Sutter, both of Frostproof; brother, Arthur Albritton, Frostproof; companion, Sharon K. Sutter, Frostproof; five grandchildren.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Emmanual Baptist Church.

INDIAN LAKE ESTATES -- Mr. Robert Graham Knox of Indian Lake Estates died of cancer Saturday (Dec. 4, 2004) at his home. He was 66.
Born June 3, 1938, in West Palm Beach, he came here from West Palm Beach nine years ago. He was a helicopter pilot for Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office. He was an ordained minister. He was a band member of First Assembly of Lake Wales.
Mr. Knox is survived by his wife, Launa H. Knox; daughter, Kathy Gaines, Indian Lake Estates; son, Kenneth Knox, Indian Lake Estates; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

POINCIANA -- Miss Brianna Kierra Marucco, the daughter of Brian and Tonya Maurcco of Poinciana, died Thursday (Dec. 2, 2004) at Florida Hospital in Orlando. She was one month and 27 days old.
She was born in Orlando on Oct. 6, 2004.
In addition to her parents, Miss Marucco is survived by her paternal grandparents, Steve and Phyllis Marucco, Kissimmee; maternal grandmother, Marcella Rambow, Poinciana; paternal great-grandparents, Thomas and Sandra Marucco, Clermont; paternal great-great-great-grandmother, Wanda Marucco, Stonington, Ill.; paternal great-great-great-grandfather, Charles Dowd, Moquweia, Ill.

LAKE WALES -- Mrs. Mildred M. Ingle of Lake Wales died of heart disease Friday (Dec. 3, 2005) at Palm Garden Nursing Center in Winter Haven. She was 86.
Born in Peru, Ind., on April 18, 1918, she came to Lake Wales from South Bend, Ind., 28 years ago. She was a homemaker and served in ministries for the handicapped. She was an active member of Trinity Baptist Church in Lake Wales where she served in the nursing home ministry.
Mrs. Ingle was preceded in death by her husband, Willard N. Ingle Sr. She is survived by her daughters, Betty J. James, Lake Wales, Martha L. DeCook, Palm Coast; sons, Ronald L. Ingle, Lakeville, Ind., Willard K. Ingle Jr., Highland City; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.

LAKELAND -- Mr. Michael Anthony Thomas of Lakeland died of kidney failure Nov. 20, 2004, in Lakeland. He was 43.
Born in Lakeland, he was a lifelong resident. He was a welder for GMF Industry.
Mr. Thomas is survived by his wife, Donetha E. Thomas; daughters, Shanques Earby, Donquesha Earby, Aspen Thomas, all of Lakeland; father, Willie Adams Thomas, Lakeland; mother, Mary Thomas Borders, Lakeland; brothers, Ernest Thomas, Levi Thomas, Eugene Thomas, Christopher Borders, Eric Thomas, all of Lakeland, Willie Lewis Williams, Tampa; sisters, Willie Pearl Robinson, Medulla, Rennell Smith, Orlando.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at H.W. Oldham Funeral Home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Burial will be in Oak Hill Burial Park.
EDWIN McKENNEY, 57

LARGO -- Mr. Edwin E. McKenney of Largo, formerly of Bartow, died of injuries sustained from a bicycle accident Wednesday at Largo Medical Hospital. He was 57.
Born in Crosell, Mich., he came to Florida in the mid 1960s, living in Bartow and Alturas before moving to Largo. He was a heavy equipment operator.
Mr. McKenney is survived by his son, David McKenney, Las Vegas; sisters, Marie Cook, Largo, Evelyn Andrews, Bartow, Joyce Gammon, Hilton Head, S.C., Nancy Boden, St. Clair, Mich.; two grandchildren.
Memorial services were held in Largo.
John Mooneyham, 78, Pastor
BARTOW -- During the time that Mr. John C. Mooneyham and his wife, Lenore, were members of the Palm Bluegrass and Gospel Group, they performed at various events -- including the Fort Meade Jamboree, Cypress Gardens, Allen's Fish Cafe in Auburndale -- and at several local nursing homes.
"He would start the song, and then I would harmonize with him, " said his wife of 16 years, Lenore Mooneyham. "I think really his life was ministry and performing music. Those were his main lifelines, and he loved his family and his children."
The retired Assemblies of God pastor died of heart failure Sunday (Nov. 28, 2004) at Highlands Lake Center in Lakeland. He was 78.
Born in Barber County, Ala., on May 23, 1926, Mr. Mooneyham came to Bartow from there 56 years ago. His years of pastoring in the Southeast included serving in Alturas, Lake Wales, Fort Meade, Bowling Green, Alabama, and Tennessee before failing health forced him to retire in 1991.
His interest in music began at a young age, when he sang in the church choir. He continued with the Palm Bluegrass and Gospel Group, where he played the guitar and sang. After the group dissolved, Mr. Mooneyham and his wife continued performing together.
"We met up with different ones and performed when someone would call or need it because he enjoyed it, " said Lenore Mooneyham, who described her husband as a man who could do anything that he put his mind to.
Mr. Monneyham was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Bartow.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Mooneyham is survived by his daughters, Sara Carmichael, Kaye Parkins, both of Bartow, Shirley Maria Brickham, Millinocket, Maine, Faye Dorn, Tallahassee; son, James Edward Mooneyham, Seale, Ala.; brother, Albrey Mooneyham, Biloxi, Miss.; sisters, Allene Strickland, Troy, Ala., Lorene Holberg, Warner Robins, Ga.; stepsons, Tim Smothers, Joseph Smothers, both of Bartow; stepdaughter, Sonya Garner, Fort Meade; 17 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 E. Main St., Bartow. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel.
