LAKELAND -- Mr. William Clemens of Lakeland died of cancer Wednesday (March 30, 2005) at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. He was 50.
Born in Chicago on Jan. 12, 1955, he came to Lakeland from there in 1982. He was a furniture mover.
Mr. Clemens is survived by his wife, Peggie Clemens; daughter, Amanda Kulefsky, Lakeland; stepson, Randy Kulefsky, Wimauma; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Services will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

ROBERT GEBERT, 82
U.S. Air Force
PLANT CITY -- Mr. Robert H. "Bob" Gebert of Plant City died of heart failure Wednesday (March 30, 2005). He was 82.
Born July 12, 1922, in Pierceton, Ind., he came here from Fort Wayne, Ind. in 1988. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of Air Force Sergeants Association at MacDill Air Force Base and First United Methodist Church of Plant City.
Mr. Gebert is survived by his wife, Joan Gebert; daughter, Dianne Miller, Springfield, Mo.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Wells Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
MELVIN PHILLIPPI, 65
McDonald's Construction
LAKELAND -- Mr. Melvin Eugene Phillippi of Lakeland died of lung cancer Sunday (April 3, 2005) at home. He was 65.
Born on Markleton, Pa., on March 14, 1940, he came to Lakeland from Edmond, Okla., 19 years ago. He was a heavy equipment operator for McDonald's Construction for 11 years. He was a Navy veteran. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Mr. Phillippi is survived by his wife, Cheryl Phillippi; daughters, Kimberly Hope, Still Water, N.Y., Shauna Simmons, Clifton Park, N.Y., Michaelene Sea Bridge, Selkirk, N.Y.; sons, Chad Phillippi, Scott Phillippi, both of Lakeland; sister, Kay LaRusch, Erin, Tenn.; 10 grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 5 p.m. Friday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 118 W. Lemon St., Lakeland.
HOWARD KELLBERG, 81

WINTER HAVEN -- Mr. Howard E. Kellberg of Winter Haven died of complications of Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease Saturday (April 2, 2005) at The Meadows of Cypress Gardens. He was 81.
Born in Philadelphia on July 3, 1923, he came to Florida in 1992 and moved to Winter Haven from Waverly four years ago. He was a retired engineer for Corning Glass. He was town supervisor in Caton, N.Y. He was a former Scoutmaster. He was a member of the Beagle Club in New York and the Appalachian Trail Association. He graduated from Cornell University. He was a lifelong volunteer for the Caton Volunteer Fire Department. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Caton, N.Y., where he served as a chairman of the trustees.
Mr. Kellberg is survived by his wife, Ethelda Kellberg; son, Hans Kellberg, Corning, N.Y.; daughter, Lois Jackson, Saratoga Springs, N.Y.; brother, Myron H. Kellberg, Cape Cod, Mass.; sister, Sonja M. Kellberg, Plainfield, N.J.; four grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 22, at the United Methodist Church in Caton, N.Y.

BABSON PARK -- Mr. John Robert Hollis II of Babson Park died of heart failure Friday (April 1, 2005) at Highlands Regional Hospital, Sebring. He was 21.
Mr. Hollis was born Feb. 17, 1984, in Orlando. He was a student. He was a member of First Christian Church of Babson Park.
Mr. Hollis is survived by his father, John Robert Hollis, Kissimmee; mother, Nancy Lynne Hollis, Orlando; sister, Cristi Lynne Hollis, Sebring; brother, Michael Hollis, Blairsville, Ga.; paternal grandmother, Doris B. Hollis, Orlando.

WINTER HAVEN -- Mrs. Leona I. Hrdlicka of Winter Haven died of heart failure Sunday (April 3, 2005) at Brandywyne. She was 89.
Born in Adrian, Mich., on May 6, 1915, she came to Winter Haven from there in 1954. She was a retired Realtor. She was active with the Eastern Star in Adraian and served as president. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Hrdlicka was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Hrdlicka. She is survived by her son, Jerry Hrdlicka, Parkerberg, W. Va.; daughter, Judy Trueheart, Winter Haven; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Lakeside Memorial Park.

LAKELAND -- Mrs. Lynda Carol Doan of Lakeland died of heart failure Friday (April 1, 2005) at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. She was 56.
Born Nov. 10, 1948, in Gloversville, N.Y., Mrs. Doan came here from Farmington, N.M., in 1982. She was a nurse's aide and beautician. She was a Methodist.
Mrs. Doan is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Straub, Lake Wales; father, Richard F. Suits, Peoria, Ariz.; brother, Robert Suits, Boise, Idaho; sister, Karen Wiberg, Phoenix; one grandchild.
