Donald J. Rauh, 54, of Port Charlotte, Fla., died Jan. 6, 2000, at Fawcett Memorial Hospital.
He was born April 17, 1945, in Elizabeth, N.J., and moved to Port Charlotte in 1985 from Flemington, N.J. He worked as a stockroom clerk for the city of Punta Gorda.
He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Arlene "Barb" Rauh of Port Charlotte; son, Scott Rauh of Milford, N.J.; and grandsons, Tyler and Brian Rauh of Milford.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Jan. 11 at the Roberson Funeral Home, Port Charlotte Chapel. Funeral services will be at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 11 at the funeral home. The Rev. Bob Carlson will officiate.
Johnita L. Schenk
Mrs. Johnita L. Schenk, 72, of Niskayuna, N.Y., died Dec. 27, 1999, at Ellis Hospital.
Born in Chilswold, she lived in Florida for more than 25 years, moving to Niskayuna 18 months ago to live with her son. Mrs. Schenk was a member of the Balltown Wesleyan Church in Schenectady, N.Y. Her husband, Ernest L. Schenk, died in 1997.
Survivors include her sons, Lucien S. Rizzo of Schenectady, Michael J. R. Rizzo of Inwood, Long Island, N.Y., Lance Rizzo of Brooklyn, Paul A. Rizzo of Florida and Ernest L. Schenk II of Niskayuna; daughters, Michelle Rizzo of St. Petersburg, Fla., Valerie M. Mangold and Sharon Abner, both of Port Charlotte, Fla., Sandra M. Rizzo of Fort Myers, Fla., Renee Stock of Shirley, Long Island, Trish Leonard of Cape Coral, Fla., Antoinette P. Bostwick of Beaufort, S.C., and Lisa J. Carver of Cheektowaga; 46 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held at the Balltown Wesleyan Church, 931 Balltown Road, Schenectady. Inurnment was private at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens in Punta Gorda, Fla. Arrangements were by Family Funeral Care, 40 N. Brandywine Ave., Schenectady, N.Y.
Charles A. Stein Jr.
Charles A. Stein Jr., 82, of Punta Gorda, Fla., in the winter and Sandusky, Ohio, during the summer months, died Jan. 7, 2000, at Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte, Fla., following a lengthy illness.
He was born on May 20, 1917, in Sandusky. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Sandusky. He owned and operated Stein's Dry Goods until 1962 and retired from the Ford Motor Company in 1975. He was a member of UAW Local 913 of Sandusky. He enjoyed fishing, bowling and camping.
He is survived by his wife, Anne (Coleman) Stein; sons, Charles D. of Marble, Pa., Roger R. of Port Charlotte and Larry E. Stein of Sandusky; stepsons, Wayne King of Sandusky, George King of Johnson City, Tenn., and Jim King of Port Clinton, Ohio; nine grandchildren; 14 step-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Vernal Mae (Keegan) Stein, in 1994; his parents, Charles and Josephine (Biechle) Stein; son, Alan Stein, in the Vietnam War; stepson, Bob King; brother, William Stein; and sister, Alice Naufel.
Friends may call from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Jan. 11 at the Groff Funeral Home, Sandusky. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rev. John Mawhirter will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.

Anita Louise Tiegen
Anita Louise Tiegen, 90, of South Port Square, Port Charlotte, Fla., died Jan. 7, 2000, at Fawcett Memorial Hospital, Port Charlotte.
She was born Oct. 26, 1909, in Baltimore, Md. Mrs. Tiegen came to Port Charlotte 30 years ago from Myrtle Beach, S.C. She was self-employed as a motel owner. She attended Presbyterian Church, Port Charlotte.
Surviving are a son, J. Ronald (Susan) Allison of Deland, Fla.; daughter, Marilyn W. (Clarence) Elliott of Port Charlotte; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Jan. 10 at Paul Schelm Funeral Home, Port Charlotte. Funeral services will be at 11:15 a.m. Jan. 20 at the funeral home. Burial is at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Port Charlotte. Donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
Lucy Naoma Tinsley
Lucy Naoma Tinsley, 80, of Port Charlotte, Fla., died Jan. 6, 2000, at her home.
She was a resident of Port Charlotte, Fla., moving from Detroit, Mich., in 1974. She was born to James Humphreys and Edna (Alexander) Humphreys July 15, 1919, in Palmor, Ky. She was a retired press operator for the Olsonite Company, a division of the Swedish Crusible Steel Company, in Hamtramck, Mich. She was a Southern Baptist. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Raymond C. Tinsley of Port Charlotte; sons, Larry D. (Christine) Tinsley of Frankfort, Ill., and Kenneth Ray (Michele) Tinsley of Warren, Mich.; grandchildren, Tracie Dwyer, Samantha Tinsley and Tyler Tinsley; and great-grandchild, Noah Dwyer.
Family and friends gathered Jan. 8 at Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place in Mayfield, Ky., with the Brown Funeral Home arranging services. Philip J. Todaro
Philip J. Todaro, 80, passed away Dec. 19, 1999, in Punta Gorda, Fla.
He was born June 23, 1919, in Hartford, Conn., son of the late Joseph Todaro and Palma Attardo Todaro. He attended schools in Hartford and Wethersfield, Conn. He served in the U.S. Army from 1942-1945 in the European and Asian theatres. He was a tank commander in the 191st Division. Mr. Todaro was employed by Carello Machine Shop in Kensington, Conn., retiring several years ago.
Survivors include his son, Philip Todaro of Kensington; sisters, Virginia Denson of Eastford, Conn., Mary Nogas and Carmella Aukstolis of Wethersfield; brothers, Salvatore Todaro of Punta Gorda, Anthony Todaro and Joseph Todaro of Wethersfield; granddaughter, Christine Todaro of Cromwell, Conn.; several nieces and nephews; and a very dear friend, Lavanda Favina. He was predeceased by his wife, Sylvia Cavagna Todaro.
A memorial service will be held in Kensington at the convenience of the family. Local arrangements were by Kays-Ponger/Royal Palm Funeral Home, Punta Gorda.
Elizabeth H. Travis
Elizabeth H. Travis, 76, of Port Charlotte, Fla., died Jan. 7, 2000, at her residence.
She was born Now. 15, 1923, in Dublin, Ireland, and moved to Port Charlotte 20 years ago from Lake Worth, Fla. She was of the Catholic faith. She served in the British Army during World War II.
She is survived by a daughter, Philomena Jones of Roger, Ohio; sisters, Maura Caulfield and Annie Fox, both of Dublin; brother, James Hannon of Dublin; grandson, Michael Hannon of Port Charlotte; and two great-grandchildren.

Domenicki DiLena
Domenicki DiLena, 82, of Port Charlotte, Fla., died Sunday, Jan. 4, 2004, at his home.
He was born Jan. 24, 1921, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Michael and Carmela Biscardi DiLena. He moved to Port Charlotte from Long Island, N.Y., in 1973. Domenicki served in the U. S. Navy during World War II, and was a veteran of the Normandy invasion on D-Day. He was a founding member of Community Life Center Full Gospel Church in Port Charlotte, and was also a member of the board, and choir. In addition, he was a saxophone player. He was a firefighter, and retired as a fireman from New York City.
He is survived by his wife, Grace Rose DiLena of Port Charlotte; sons, Michael (Ruthanne) DiLena of Mount Sinai, Long Island, N.Y., Richard (Esther) DiLena of Deep Creek, Fla., and George (Teresa) DiLena of Port Charlotte; sisters, Ann (Joseph) Rizzo of Port Charlotte and Josephine (Alfred) Zollo of Spring, Texas; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9, 2004, at Community Life Center, 19048 Edgewater Dr., Port Charlotte. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004, at the center, with the Rev. Warren Delling officiating. Interment will be at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens in Punta Gorda, Fla.

David C. Lecklitner
David C. Lecklitner, 81, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away Monday, Jan. 5, 2004, at Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte.
Mr. Lecklitner was born Oct. 14, 1922, in Tippecanoe County, Ind. He retired after 34 years of service at Eli Lilly & Co. in Indianapolis, Ind., and moved to Fort Myers, Fla., in December 1984. He later became a resident of Port Charlotte.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Phyllis; and his sister, Mary Anne Ogle of Sheridan, Ind.
Private services will be scheduled at a later date.

Arlene E. Neuner, 72, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away Monday, Jan. 5, 2004.
She was born Aug. 7, 1931, in Freeport, N.Y. She moved to Port Charlotte in 1989 from South River, N.J. Mrs. Neuner retired from Revlon Corporation in Edison, N.J. She was a member of Northwest Charlotte Community League, and was a secretary for Royal Palm Chapter of Antique Auto Club of America in Murdock, Fla.
Survivors include her daughter, Penny Dandino of Port Charlotte; son, Allen Neuner of Somerville, N.J.; sister, Jean Schall of Spotswood, N.J.; brother, Clifford Baker of Alaska; and grandson, Tommy (Shana) Dadino of Punta Gorda, Fla. She was preceded in death by her husband, George, on Nov. 14, 2003.

Harriet P. Polito, 79, of Port Charlotte, Fla., passed away Monday, Jan. 5, 2004, at Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte, Fla.
She was born Sept. 19, 1924, in Reading, Pa., and moved to Port Charlotte in Oct. of 1977.
Harriet is survived by her loving husband, Frank J. Polito of Port Charlotte; sons, Robert F. (Barbara) Polito of Cary, N.C., and John S. (Evelyn) Polito of Port Charlotte; daughter, Carol Ann (Quentin) Napoleon of Pilesgrove, N.J.; sisters, Anna Nehilla of Allentown, Pa., Stephanie Wysakowski and Martha Whirl, both of Reading, and Frances Stubblebine of Wyomissing, Pa.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas M. Polito.

Mary Ann H. Sperow, 72, of Punta Gorda, Fla., passed away Thursday, Dec. 18, 2003.
She was born Nov. 11, 1931, in Philadelphia, Pa.
Mary is survived by her husband, retired U.S. Army Col. Charles Sperow; two daughters, Stori Felker and Wendi Knowles; a sister, Audrey Sheppard; and 14 grandchildren.

David A. Bargdill
David A. Bargdill, 59, of Englewood, Fla., died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2004, in Englewood.
He was born March 20, 1944, in Pleasant Corners, Ohio, and moved to Englewood, 21 years ago from Columbus, Ohio. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was employed by the state of Ohio, in property maintenance. He was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans. He had a great love for animals.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Joyce (Rowden); sisters, Jane Stumpf of Sebring, Ohio, and Janice Wilson of Grove City, Ohio; brothers, Kenneth Bargdill of Painesville, Ohio, and Wayne Bargdill of Venice, Fla.; stepmother, Virginia Bargdill of Venice; father-in-law, Daniel Rowden of Brooksville, Fla.; brother-in-law, Jay Rowden of Spring Hill, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m., with a service following at 2 p.m., Friday, Jan. 9, 2004, at Ewing Funeral Home in Venice.

Dale Lowell Harvey, 53, of Englewood, Fla., died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2003.
Dale was born Sept. 22, 1950, in Sarasota, Fla., and was a lifelong resident of Englewood. He was a boatwright, and a member of the Traditional Small Craft Society. He was also a member of the Lemon Bay Historical Society.
He is survived by his sisters, Betty Meza of Englewood and Patricia Whitted of Ash Fork, Ariz.; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004, at Lemon Bay Funeral Home, Englewood chapel.
Inurnment will be at a later date at Lemon Bay Cemetery in Englewood.

Robert D. Kinnaman
Robert D. Kinnaman, 74, of Arcadia, Fla., passed away Sunday, Jan. 4, 2004.
He was born Nov. 8, 1929, in Fort Wayne, Ind. He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Missouri. He moved to Fort Myers, Fla., in 1956, and worked for Florida Power & Light Company. Robert retired from there after 32 years of service. He moved to Arcadia 13 years ago. He was an active member of Nocatee United Methodist Church, Peace River Masonic Lodge 66 of Arcadia, 33rd Degree Scottish Rite of Fort Myers Arabia Shrine Temple and York Rite.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon; son, Michael (Mary Linda); daughter, Dana; three grandchildren, Jaime (Josh), Erik and Melyn; and a great-granddaughter, Britney.
A service of remembrance will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, 2004, at Nocatee United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Carl Rainear officiating.
