Jack R. Propps, 74, St. Augustine, died July 30, 1997, at the Ponce de Leon Care Center. He was born in Broken Bow, Okla., and he had resided here for the past 11 years. He was a retired health care administrator, and he was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during World War II. He was a Pearl Harbor survivor.
Private services are planned.
Survivors include his wife, Rosmarie Propps, St. Augustine; two daughters, Debra Dennis, Spain, Diana Ray, St. Augustine; one son, Keith Propps, St. Augustine; and four grandchildren.

Robert Thomas
Robert Joseph Glenn Thomas, infant son of Robert Thomas and Jessica Schaffer, St. Augustine, died July 30, 1997. He was born in St. Augustine May 6.
Graveside services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at Barnes Cemetery, with the Rev. S. Dwight McQueen, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, officiating.
Survivors, in addition to his parents, include his maternal grandparents, Ronald and Jeanie Schaffer, paternal grandparents, Edward and Marlene Griffin, maternal great-grandparents, Dillon and Virginia Langston, all of St. Augustine; maternal great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. E.J. James Leonard Boone, 71, St. Augustine, died July 31, 1997, at Flagler Hospital East. He was born in Jacksonville, and he had resided in St. Augustine for the past 10 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard, and he was of the Baptist faith.

Lee Wolynski
Lee (Lola) Wolynski, Crescent Beach, passed away early Thursday morning, July 31, 1997. Mrs. Wolynski, a Lady of the Grand Cross of Malta, was born in Boston, Mass., Oct. 16, 1909, the daughter of Josephine and Wladyslaw Marcinkowski. She attended Radcliffe College, was a graduate of Wellesley College and The Boston Conservatory of Music, and she was a concert pianist. She was an assistant to Henry Kissinger at The Institute of International Affairs at Harvard University.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 46 years, Zbigniew Wolynski, her son, Bentley Warren of Kennebunkport, Maine; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother and sister and by her daughter, Krysia.
For many years, Lee Wolynski and her husband, Zbigniew, have been devoted to the cause of freedom for the Polish people, contributing much of their time, effort and personal resources in support of the struggle to achieve the freedom of Poland. In 1972, the two moved from Boston to Warsaw, where they lived until 1989. They were instrumental in the organization, development and ultimate success of the Solidarity movement which achieved the freedom of Poland from Communist occupation and which resulted, ultimately, in the destruction of the Iron Curtain.
Mrs. Wolynski was a member of the Polonia Society of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Korona; and the Republican Women's Club of St. Johns Federated.
Memorial services will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Korona, Aug. 31.
A funeral mass will be held in Warsaw, Poland, and her remains placed in the family tomb in Powaski Cemetery, Warsaw.

Allen Byrd
Allen Bryant Byrd, 25, St. Augustine, died July 31, 1997, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born in Jacksonville, and had lived in St. Johns County most of his life. He was a 1990 graduate of Allen D. Nease High School, and he attended the First Apostolic Church in St. Augustine and the United Pentecostal Church of Green Cove Springs.
Funeral services will be Monday at 1 p.m. at the First Apostolic Church, with J. Alton Lister, pastor, First Apostolic Church, and the Rev. Earl Dixon, pastor, United Pentecostal Church of Green Cove Springs, officiating. Robert Perry
Judge Robert R. Perry, 62, San Mateo, died Friday at Flagler Hospital East in St. Augustine after a long illness. He was a native of Jacksonville, and he had lived in San Mateo and Interlachen for the past 23 years. He served as circuit court judge for Putnam County from 1981-1991, and he had a law office for 18 years before becoming a judge. He graduated from the University of Florida with his law degree. He previously worked as an assistant U.S. attorney in Jacksonville and for the FBI in Washington, D.C. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving in the Korean War.
Funeral services will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home, 307 S. Palm Ave., Palatka, with Judge Gene Eastmoore and Judge Bill Parsons officiating. American Legion Bert Hodge Post #45 will conduct military honors. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Riverside Memorial Park in Jacksonville. Friends may call at Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home in Palatka today from 3 to 5 p.m.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Glinda K. Perry, San Mateo; his mother, Evelyn O. Perry, Jacksonville; two sons, Robert M. Perry and Patrick H. Perry, both of Gainesville; a daughter, Renee H. Peshek, St. Augustine; and four grandchildren.
Marion Ryman
Graveside services for Marion Jackson Ryman, 93, who died Tuesday at Flagler Hospital, were held Saturday, Aug. 2, 1997, at Evergreen Cemetery, with the Rev. Charles Seymour officiating.
Mrs. Ryman was a lifelong resident of St. Augustine. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and was the widow of the late Harold E. Ryman.
She is survived by two daughters, Zane Ryman Mizell and Judy Z. Allen, three granddaughters and two great grandchildren.

Joseph Urban
Joseph W. Urban, 63, St. Augustine, died Friday at the St. Augustine Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Washington, D.C., and came to St. Augustine a year ago from Fort Lauderdale. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a retired brick mason.
Services and burial will be in Alabama.
He is survived by four daughters, J.D. Moffett, St. Augustine, Linda Ann White, Edgewater, Md., Carolyn Louise Trask, Fort Lauderdale, and Beverly Eileen Ryan of Franklinville, N.J.; a son, Timothy Wayne Urban, St. Augustine; a sister, Beverly Vest, Silver Springs, Md.; and a brother, Samuel Greenwood Urban, Frederick, Md.

Lucille Forrester
Lucille "Jean" Forrester, St. Augustine, died Aug. 3, 1997, at Flagler Hospital. She was born in Hamilton, Ont., Canada, and she had resided here for the past 42 years. She was a member of Flagler Hospital Auxiliary for over 25 years, and she was a member of Trinity Episcopal Parish, and a member of the church's St. Catherine's Guild and of Poinsettia Garden Club.

Walter Law
Walter Bowman "Butch" Law, 76, St. Augustine, died Aug. 2, 1997, at Flagler Hospital East. He was born in Smithville, Ga., and he moved to St. Augustine in 1938, serving as meat market manager of the A&P Food Store for nearly 45 years. He was a 58-year member of the Ancient City Baptist Church, and he was a former member of the state guard.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ancient City Baptist Church, with the Rev. Frank Northcutt, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Augustine Memorial Park. Friends may call at Craig Funeral Home chapel from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

Kathleen Reilly
Kathleen Reilly, the first executive secretary of Catholic Charities, Jacksonville, will be remembered at a memorial mass at noon Wednesday at San Jose Catholic Church, 3619 Toledo Road, Jacksonville. Ms. Reilly, who was 97, died in Long Island, N.Y., July 25, 1997. After working with Catholic Charities in Jacksonville from 1944-68, she continued to work as a volunteer in Jacksonville until 1990. It was then she moved to New York to live with her niece and nephew.
Described by Msgr. John J. Lenihan as "the founder of Catholic Charities in this area," Ms. Reilly's work included placing orphaned children with adoptive parents. Following studies in social work at Fordham University, she began her career in social work in the Catholic Home Bureau, a child-placing agency of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York.
In 1970, Pope Paul VI conferred on her the papal honor Pro Ecclesia et Pontifice, and she was the first recipient of the prestigious Jane Gallagher Award, presented annually by Catholic Charities, USA. In 1993, she was honored at the annual Catholic Charities Ball in Jacksonville.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made, in her memory, to Catholic Charities Bureau Inc., Diocese of St. Augustine, c/o William J. Tierney, Diocesan Director, POB 24000, Jacksonville 32241-4000.
Survivors include a sister, and nieces and nephews.
George Hall
Funeral services for George Phillip Hall, 80, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel of Jacksonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 111 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park, with the Rev. Daniel O. Mr. Hall was born in Swainsboro, Ga., and he was a member of Southside Estates Baptist Church and was the owner and co-founder of Jones and Hall Nurseries, Beach Boulevard, Jacksonville.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Leona Cooler Hall, St. Augustine; three sons, James H. Hall and his wife, Kathy; Phillip R. Hall and his wife, Sue; John M. Hall and his wife, Karen; a sister, Johnnie Jones and her husband, Theodore; three brothers, Vernon Hall and his wife, Nan; Royce Hall and his wife, Faye; and Don Hall; three granddaughters, Jennifer, Jamie and Kimberly; four stepgrandchildren and six stepgreat-grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Kathy French
Kathy Jo Comstock French, 47, died July 24, 1997, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born in Mt. Vernon, Ohio, and she had lived in Jacksonville for five years. She was a math consultant for the Math Plus program, and she had been working with many of the St. Johns County elementary schools.
She was a member of Julington Creek Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Stephen French; two daughters, Tricia L. Styers, Karie Ann French; her parents, Charles and Velma Comstock; a brother, Charles Comstock; two sisters, Terrie Morris, Nancy Mayfield; and two grandsons.
Frank Johnson
Frank Johnson, 49, Elkton, died Aug. 2, 1997, at Windsor Manor Nursing Home, following a long illness.

Ruth Collinsworth
Ruth Brown Collinsworth, 86, St. Augustine, died Aug. 6, 1997, at Flagler Hospital East. She was born in Franklin County, Ga., and she had resided in St. Augustine since 1974.
Graveside memorial services will be held at a later date in Norcross, Ga., under the direction of R.T. Patterson Funeral Home.
